Prior to a fresh restoration, this was a complete running well-kept car. Just completed extensive two-year, no expense spared highly detailed professional restoration to stock factory condition, with the addition of some very popular chrome engine and bolt on aftermarket parts for modern drivability, reliability, higher performance, enhanced driver comfort, and show car appeal. This GT performs much better than the day it left the factory, without permanently effecting originality. Can be return to 100% stock in a weekend.

During the meticulous restoration everything, including the entire drive train, was disassembled and properly restored, show quality re-chromed, and professionally polished to factory condition. Current odometer reading approx. 36,000. Documentation shows this was only driven 3,000 miles in last 12 years. This Torino has only been driven few test miles since complete engine and transmission rebuild to ensure all is fresh and working perfectly. Best suited for a serious collector wanting a great investment that is sure to increase. Dependable enough to drive daily, or gently as a weekend warrior.

The "351 Cleveland" is generally considered a high-performance engine. However, the truth is 92% of North American 351C engines were basic, 2V, low-compression, medium horsepower engines. Only 8% of all Ford cars came equipped with this high-performance M- Code 351 Cleveland engine with 4V carbureted configuration. (NADA adds 25% price premium for this option.)

This GT being offered for sale possesses the correct factory block with casting DOAE-L and casting date “1D21”. This is the real deal conservatively rated from the factory with 285 HP. However, it is now completely rebuilt using high performance internal components, by renowned Ford engine builder. This torque monster is now rated over 425 HP and designed to run modern unleaded fuel. It always starts, idles, and runs well with amazing bravado.

***Correct factory heads identified by "4*" casting and eight bolt valve covers. These closed chamber (quench) style cylinder heads w large exhaust valves give very high flow capacity and are the real trick to the engine's performance. With 10.7:1 high compression and monstrous free breathing ports, 61.3-64.3 cc combustion chambers, 2.198" intake valves and 1.715 exhaust valves.

An article in Super Stock and Drag Illustrated tested a Torino equipped with the 370 HP 429 CJ, C-6 automatic, stated "this car would really respond to a good ignition system, a better intake manifold, a larger carburetor and a set of headers." This convertible GT’s restorers took their sage advice and kept the car mostly stock but installed these high-performance upgrades and a bit more, detailed below.

Exterior Body and Paint

Highly documented owner history. Originally sold at Bill Gawne Ford, located at 425 West Main St, Sun Prairie WI. Then early in its life this highly maintained. no accident car was sold to documented owners residing in Arkansas and Florida, were it currently still resides. After over 45 years of well-maintained use, this running survivor underwent a full restoration by documenting and disassembling the entire care and drivetrain. Ensuring every nook was addressed. For originality, all factory parts, wiring harness, welds, clips, switches, and little doo-dads that make it original were retained and restored.

*** Retains all original body panels, including factory quarter panels, doors, and fenders. The only exception is Torino hoods are long and prone to separating where attached at the hinges. So, original hood intentionally replaced with 1970 NOS hood with exhaust vents at rear, for better cooling & more muscular looks. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This 1970 Mach 1 for sale in covered in iconic Grabber orange with black rally stripe and looks like it just drove out of the showroom for the first time. With the speed of sound being around 761 miles per hour and this speed being designated Mach1, Ford produced Mustangs with this title to let you know just how fast it was. Sitting between the front shock towers is the small block Ford that a lot of big blocks chased back then. The 351 Windsor and sitting on top of this power plant is an Edlebrock® performer 351-w intake with one of Vic’s own Carburetors. This of course provides plenty of power to blister the poor rear tires on this incredible pony car. Bolted to the back of this Engine is a 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver more control of just how long the rear tires last and of course how much smoke he put in the face of the Challenger behind him. The rear axle housing is Fords finest, a 9 inch that houses a 3.50 gear set. Maybe this should be a Mach2? With all this go, there must be enough whoa to go around so, power disc on every corner provide all you will need. Open the driver’s door and slide in to the control seat, let your left foot get used to the throw on the clutch, while your right finds the limit of the loud pedal. While getting used to the controls, take a look around at the like new high-backed bucket seats, center console, dash, carpet and head liner and try to remember that it is 2018 and not 1971. If you’re looking for a sweet resto-mod Mustang where all the hard work and expense has already been done, then look no further. This Rockin’ Horse pays tribute with muscular look of the ’70 Boss 302, but it is a much more driver friendly car. For starters, under the hood the old carbureted engine has moved over for a Ford Racing GT-40 crate engine. The new engine is equipped with Mass Flow Injection, so starts are just a matter of turning the key. The Aluminum heads GT-40 V8 has been dressed out in polished/brushed aluminum or colored matched to gorgeous exterior of Grabber Orange. The suspension has been greatly improved. It now consists of a Ron Morris Performance Street Force tubular coil over front suspension, Flaming River power rack & pinion steering rack, Heavy Duty front/rear sway bars, and KYB Gas-A-Just shock. The unibody has been tied together with subframe connectors and a Total Control Adjustable Aluminum shock tower system has been installed. This Pony is ready for the twisty roads. How bout a trip down the Dragon? Wilwood vented disc brakes are on all four corners, this Mustang will stop as well as it handles! The interior of this muscular pony car consists of custom black leather Corbeau Sport Gt Seats with Orange to make the Black pop and to match the Grabber Orange paint. Affectionately called the Rockin’ Horse by the owner, the logo is embroidered in the head rests and the door panels. To give this Mustang a racier look a JME gauge cluster has been installed and it is filled with Autometer gauges. A Flaming River tilt steering wheel has been added to make it a bit easier to get out of sleek horse. The list for the 1970 convertible Mustang goes on and on. This beautiful Mustang has been repainted in correct factory Bright Red (color code 3) and looks great. Inside the rare optioned red vermillion vinyl interior with cloth inserts that really sets this Boss apart from the others of this vintage. The black carpet, black center console and black dash are a nice contrast; it really sets off the bright red seats. Under the hood is the 330 hp 351 Boss (code R) and is part of the drag pack option which included manual 4-speed with Hurst Shifter and 3.91 traction lok differential. The 351 Boss engine has been rebuilt and balanced, so there will be no need for rebuilding of this car for quite some time. The engine looks just as it would on the showroom floor in 1971 with the proper info decals on the valve covers and the fenders. In many instances, its the small details that are overlooked, but not with this gem. As a matter of fact as long as it is taken care and maintained properly, it will be ready to for the next generation of collectors. The owner has a packet of literature to go with this Boss that validates its authenticity and increases the collectability as the years go by. Recent purchase prices at auctions indicate these are steadily on the rise in value. The Boss is also equipped the competition suspension and will put the Firestone F60-15’s to their limits. As for bragging rights, the Boss 351 is considered to be faster than the 429 equipped Mach I of the same year. The Boss 351 jumped from a standing start to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 13.6 seconds. In a Motor Trend test from 1971, the bigger cube 429 CJ accelerated from 0 to 60 in 6.4 seconds and ran the quarter-mile in 14.7 seconds. The Boss 351 is also the rarest of the 71 Mustangs with only 1806 produced. Outside of red/white and blue color schemes, the only obvious difference was the Mustang name on the rear was now smaller and on the right side, instead of across the center. This 1972 Mustang began life as a Grande version, but has been converted over time. It is powered by a strong number’s matching 351 Cleveland with an FMX Auto transmission. The engine has been rebuilt, which the owner added a new intake and carburetor at this time. It has only approximately 2,500 miles since the rebuild. Other things updated by the owner include: Petronics electronic ignition installed with a new grab a track front suspension kit and steering kit. This 1972 Ford Ranchero is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Ranchero was made by Ford from 1957 to 1979 as a coupe utility. Based off a 2-door station wagon platform where the cab and bed were integrated in one seamless piece. 1967 is when the Ranchero, like many vehicles of that era, got its first true taste of Muscle. The available FE Big Block 390 allowed for an amazing 315 HP from the factory. The 390 would be so successful Ford would start offering it’s revolutionary 428 CJ engine in mid-68 placing an exclamation point on performance. Then in 1970 they would blow them all away with 429 Super Cobra Jet engines. This 1972 has taken that same concept while taking this 63000 original mile Ranchero and turning it into the monster you see now. Originally a California car it was brought here, and the work began. The body was in decent condition, so the owner decided a paint job was in order. The House of Color Tangelo Orange looks great and guaranteed to grab anyone’s attention. The black graphics running across the side help to break it up while giving the car a sporty look. The hood with its simulated ram air scoop lets people know that this is not your average Ranchero. Pop that hood and that 429 is staring right back at you. The big 4-barrel carb feeds this big block just the right amount of gas. The recently rebuilt C4 transmission handles all that power while shifting through all 3 speeds effortlessly. Going down the road this Ranchero has a great feel with the steering and suspension gone through as well. Of course, you want to be able to stop this 72 and with the recently done brake job you should not have any worries. Inside the cab you will find a recently redone interior with the tan complimenting the exterior nicely. The bench seat is comfortable making those longer trips much more enjoyable. Built with simplicity in mind, this 1950 Ford F-1 is equipped with only the essentials but did not have any expense spared during the process. The heart and soul of this pick up is a completely rebuilt 1950 Ford flathead V8 bored .60 over and roughly 1,500 miles since completion. The lope at idle provided by the Comp Cams Thumpr (#41-600-7) is the only music you will need on your ride and is very distinguishable sound. Also equipped is Offenhauser pistons, Mahle rings, Isky valve spring, and Ford rods, crank and block. Hooked up behind the flathead is a 3-speed manual transmission rebuilt at the same time as the engine and shifts smoothly between gears. The cab of the truck is still the 1950 Ford F-1 but has been heavily modified to give it the much sleeker look it has now. 6” of the top were sliced out to bring the profile lower and was moved 18” further back on the frame allowing it to run without fenders. The hood was custom built for this truck and transitions smoothly into the 1943 International fire truck grill. The bed was also built specially for this truck and matches the rest of the build very well. Slide inside the truck and you will wonder if it is even functional with how simplistic it is. The metal dash is smooth with only three gauges; Water temp left side, Oil pressure, Water temp right side. The custom bench seat sits low in the cab giving plenty of head room for all and a very comfortable driving position. All of the electronic connections have been mounted in a box behind the seat keeping the cab uncluttered and everything easily accessible. One cruise in this truck and you will be hooked! The ride is smooth and comfortable, the exhaust note will give you chills and surprisingly is not overbearingly loud and will turn heads everywhere it goes. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a green 1931 Ford Slant Window Sedan. The green body is accented with dark green fenders, that feature a bit of metallic flake throughout, and ghost flames on the front fenders stretching back. The steel wheels have been painted dark green and have chrome moon dish hub caps, completing the classic street rod look. On the inside you will find the door panels and rear seat are finished in dark green and tan vinyl upholstery. The front seat was swapped out at some point for late model gray cloth seats. A tilt steering wheel helps the easy in and easy out factor of this street rod, as it seems we are larger humans today, compared to 1931. Powering this 31’ Ford is a 350 CID Crate V8 engine with aluminum valve covers and an Edelbrock intake, carburetor, and air cleaner. A TH-350 automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter transfers the power to the Ford 9” rear end that houses 3.00 gears. The odometer reads 1,100, which is believed to represent the mileage put on the car since the build was complete.
