Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS. This real deal SS has a freshly rebuilt motor and transmission with less than 1,000 miles since being rebuilt. Powering this awesome Chevy is a 454cid big block V8 bored out to 468cid, mated to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This is all backed by a 12 bolt rear end with 4.11 gears. This engine came from T.C.I. racing. The powerplant on this SS sounds amazing thanks to Hooker headers. The motor also has MSD ignition. The engine is clad in chrome with chrome Edelbrock valve covers, Edelbrock air cleaner, Edelbrock alternator, and various other chrome parts. This engine bay looks beautiful with all of the right parts in all the right places.

This Camaro has great stopping power thanks to it's power disc brakes up front. Covering these brakes are deep dish, staggered, polished aluminum wheels wrapped in meaty radial performance tires.

Inside this Camaro you will find a B&M shifter, aftermarket gauge set, and a sleek black vinyl interior that looks brand new. You won’t find and cracks in this vehicle’s dash. Did we mention that this car’s paintjob is one of the best parts? The red paint, accented with the black vinyl roof, looks fantastic.

This Camaro features the following: power brakes, power windows, vinyl interior with seat belts, AM/FM radio, 8-track player, polished aluminum wheels and performance radial tires,

Engine: 502 CID V8

Mileage: 598 ( since rebuilt )

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Pro-Street is the ultimate expression of high-performance, with race-grade equipment and show car looks. This car has the stance, and the attitude to back it up. The stunning black paint is show quality and is complimented by a set of very well done white racing stripes. Chrome bumpers fore and aft add some contrast, with dark-tinted windows to complete the look. There aren't many cars that are more perfectly proportioned than the early Camaro, and the Pro-Street treatment on this one only enhances what is already a slam-dunk design. All of the car is steel with the exception of the hood and trunk lid car and hasn't been radically modified, although a few behind-the-scenes changes were definitely required to get those large meats under the rear fenders. If this were a full race piece, there'd be a bare-bones interior with a single bucket. But in Pro-Street, full interiors are part of the package. High-back Procar buckets are upholstered in black leather, there are beautiful carpets on the floor, and the stock door panels keep with the classic look. In place of the rear seat is a set of fully upholstered wheel tubs that look like they were done to factory specs when the car was new. The original dashboard has been refinished, too, and now carries a beautiful set of Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges in the original pods ahead of the driver. But the crossover to race spec doesn't mean you're roughing it, because there's plenty of sound-deadening material inside. The floor mounted ratchet shifter manages a built TH400 3-speed automatic transmission, and a small diameter steering wheel fits the look. In back, the trunk is pretty much full of wheel tubs, a fuel cell, and a battery, and the workmanship of the install is very impressive. You'll get the picture when you open the hood and find a thundering 502 cubic inch big block sporting a Holley. Finished in more polished aluminum parts than you'll find at a Goodguys show, it's a street-legal piece that thinks it was built for the track. There's a pair of ceramic coated long tube headers, and an MSD ignition in addition to all the stout goodies inside. The reinforced chassis carries a coil-over front suspension and a 4-link that carries a narrowed Ford 9” rear end with 4.11 gears inside, so nobody can accuse this of being a race-only piece. Wilwood disc brakes live at all four corners and the full exhaust system sounds simply spectacular. Rolling stock consists of Billet Specialties aluminum wheels with 165/80R15 radials up front and 31x18.5x15 Hoosier Quick Time meats out back. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is excited to offer this rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z10 Pace Car Coupe! First, some history of the Z10, as excerpted from Chapter 12 of "The 1969 Camaro Reference Book" by John R. Hooper. PACE CAR HARDTOP - THE Z10 COUPE "Since 1969, the controversy over a Pace Car hardtop has existed. For many years, hobbyists and other so-called experts had different opinions on the existence of these cars. Finally, after many years the truth has come out. Yes, the Z10 Camaro does exist. It is thanks to the many Camaro clubs and enthusiasts whose efforts have brought the facts about these cars to light. The basic Z10 package has Rally Sport and Super Sport equipment, code 50-50 paint, cowl induction hood, and 396 or 350 cubic inch V8 engine. The transmission combinations from the automatic to the four-speeds were the same as the Pace Car convertibles. Most of the Z10 cars had factory air conditioning. Any option that was available for the Z11 Pace Car convertible was also available on the Z10. Different interiors used on the hardtop version consisted of 711 black standard, 712 black custom, 713 black houndstooth, 727 ivory standard, and 729 ivory houndstooth. It is rumored that interior 720 orange houndstooth could also be ordered. Some of the options used were rosewood steering wheel, tilt steering column, fold down rear seat, a factory 3-speed transmission with console on the floor, vinyl roof cover, among others. The Z10 cars were a Southwestern Regional promotional car offered to a small number of dealerships in the Southwestern Branch Zone Office during Indy race time. We know now that they were available in Texas, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Arizona, and possibly other states. We may never know exactly how many were built, however we believe it to be between 200 and 300 built at Norwood. There were no records kept at Chevrolet Motor Division's offices. Since this was a one-time promotion, the customer did not have a chance to order the car but had to buy it off the dealer's lot. The Z10's appear to have been built between 04C (third week of April) to 05A (first of May) -- possibly longer...While these cars do not compare in rarity with COPO or ZL-1 cars, they still hold a place 1969 Camaro history." Now - about the one we have: like all Z10 Camaros, it is wearing a glistening coat of Dover white, with contrasting Hugger Orange stripes. This one shows a date code of 05A, designating a build date of the 1st week of May, 1969. Under the hood is a 350 CID V8 (300HP), one of the two available engine options for the Z10. The mighty mouse is mated to a smooth shifting Muncie 4 speed manual, which sends the twist to the 12 bolt rear end. Twist the ignition key, and it fires right up into a nice rich burble, sound aided by the addition of some Hooker Competition headers that funnel the exhaust into a well-executed dual exhaust with FloMaster mufflers. Ease it into first, and mash the gas, and you'll remember why you loved these cars so much! While you're cruising, flick on the A/C to keep cool - the system has been upgraded with a new R134 compressor, so it's easily serviceable by any shop. When it's time to get the speed down from the quickly-reached triple digit territory, the front discs are up to the task. Inside, you'll see that the rich black interior looks almost new, with its synthetic leather seating and carpet virtually devoid of any signes of use. The addition of an Autogage cluster by AutoMeter helps the driver keep tabs on critical operating conditions, and the Sunpro Supertach II tach aids in hitting those shift points. Why not own one of these rare pieces of history, before they're all gone?! Options on this rare 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z10 include A/C, AM Radio, 711 Trim Code Black Vinyl Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Rallye Wheels with beauty rings, and Seat Belts. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 45,003 ( actual )

Currently in the Denver Colorado showroom we have the unique pleasure of offering you this numbers matching 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28! When you combine the fact that this car has only 45,005 documented miles on the odometer plus the complete nut and bolt restoration that was completed in 2007 it is sure to earn the respect and admiration of anyone car collector or not. This stunning Camaro was built in the Norwood, Ohio plant during the first week of June and comes wearing the classic Cortez Silver paint. The Camaro was introduced in 1967 to attack the Ford Mustang success. The first-generation lasted until this 1969 model year when it again paced the Indianapolis 500. For 1969, the Camaro had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with the heavy “V” cant and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened with sculpted feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel. The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels with triple segment lenses. The Z28 performance package was and still is perhaps the most special and iconic of all available on Camaros! It included a solid-lifter 302 V8, 4-Speed Muncie M-21 Manual transmission, power disc brakes, and two wide bold stripes down the hood and decklid. This styling is considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car look and arguably the most desirable. When you lift the functional air breathing hood with reverse cowl scoop it reveals the 302 cubic inch V8 that punches out an “advertised” 290 horses to grip the asphalt. The original numbers matched engine sits in an impressive engine bay that is clean, and well preserved with original factory stickers that truly reflect the factory representation. Power is delivered by the code M21 4-Speed wide ratio transmission with Hurst shifter to the posi-traction rear axle housing a 3.73 ratio. Performance is delivered to the raised white lettered Goodyears mounted on Rallye wheels which adds to the stylish competition look. Inside this cool coupe is black bucket seat interior as noted on the cowl tag, you’ll find one of the most stylish cockpits of the muscle car era that has been painstakingly restored. Full documentation package to be included with the sale of the car including an appraisal and certificate of authenticity. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO Tribute

Engine: 427 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 2 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Tribute. Over the years, COPO has become synonymous with Chevy’s monster-displacement Camaros. It’s a term that is still used today by Chevrolet for the purpose-built drag racing Camaros, which are released year after year, just 69 units at a time. But what does COPO really mean? An acronym for “Central Office Production Order,” COPO was the method used by dealers in the know who could use it to order options, or a combination of options, that weren’t specifically listed on the order forms. The most famous use was when dealers used the COPO system to circumvent GM’s 400-cu-in limit on anything that wasn’t a full-size car or a Corvette. If you knew what dealers to go to and who to talk to, you could have used the COPO system to order a factory installed 427 in a 1969 Camaro or Chevelle. This COPO Tribute was done up in fresh Yellow paint with black interior. The engine is a 454 block with 427 internals, that is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. This combo packs the punch you expect from big block in a small bodied car!
