Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this show-stopping classic. This is a 1936 Packard 120. Packard produced the 120 from 1935 to 1937 in their first run. This Packard is special in that this sedan is also a convertible! This was one of their more expensive models at $1,395 among other sedans and a club coupe.

This beauty is in excellent condition all the way around. Not only is it in fantastic cosmetic condition but it drives beautifully as well. Powered by a rebuilt L head inline 8 engine, this 120 produced approximately 110bhp from the factory. This Packard received a frame off restoration that looks as though it was born yesterday. The blue paint on this Packard is in excellent condition. All body panels line up flush and straight. The numbers matching engine is just as clean as the exterior on this one. All of the glass on this Packard is virtually flawless. This Packard rides on four whitewall Firestone tires. The chrome on this 120 has outstanding luster and looks like new. The back seat of this Packard is spacious and has armrests. The luggage compartment in the rear is pristine.

Perfect for a collector or someone looking to have a piece of history, this Packard will only appreciate over the years. Drive off in this true classic today!

Features on this Packard include AM radio, manual convertible top, leather interior, kill switch, and white wall tires.

HIGH VALUE VEHICLES

1954 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

1954 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Engine: 250 Inline 6
Transmission: 2 Speed Powerglide
Mileage: 667 ( since rebuilt )

This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. When initially released in 1953 the Corvette was intended to compete with the smaller European sports cars of that era. Harley Earl developed the initial design which was sleek smaller 2 seat sports car that looked amazing and caught everyone’s attention, but the price would seem to be a major setback. Having that said GM would only sell 3640 units in 1954 making these extremely collectible today. This particular beauty has been treated to a yearlong frame off restoration with pictures and receipts included with the sale. Once completed the car was driven for about 600 miles and put on display at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green KY for enthusiasts to enjoy. The body was taken off and stripped down and then painted back to its original white color which still looks amazing today. With all of the chrome either replaced or brought back to its original luster it easy to see why so many caught the Corvette bug. The frame was treated to the same process which not only insured the structural integrity but gave the underneath a fresh and clean look. The original, numbers matching, blue flame six was cleaned up with the original 2 speed power glide given the same treatment. With the engine and transmission back together, they were placed back onto that freshly painted frame. With the body completed it was dropped back onto the frame giving this 1954 Corvette its new lease on life. The red interior was the last step with the red really popping against that white exterior. The tan convertible top is in excellent shape and shows well but this car was meant to be seen with the top down. Press the button between the seats and place the top in the hidden storage area and the 1954 Corvette has the look of a true roadster. When it is all said and done this Corvette is sure to make the next owner a very happy person. Options on this 1954 Corvette include a Manual Convertible Top, Leather Interior, AM Radio, Hubcaps and, Bias Ply White Wall Tires. This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

In 1958 Chevrolet built the Apache Pickup, in 2012 the design was re-imagined with styling cues from the Cameo pickups and this truck was born. For sale in our Nashville, TN show room is this show stopping custom that has graced the floor of car shows from coast to coast. There isn’t a piece of sheet metal on this truck that hasn’t been tweaked, massaged, or cut to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Based off of ideas from the notes of and conversations with GM’s Chuck Jordan. To say that this truck is one of a kind is an understatement, this truck is more accurately described as irreplaceable. The subtle touches like custom interior and consoles are to be appreciated, but it’s the major touches that grabbed your attention and don’t let go. Custom wood work completed with exotic African hardwoods, shaved nosed, and decked, completely fabricated and redesigned bed sides, and a beautiful candy burgundy paint job. 1950 Packard Deluxe 8

1950 Packard Deluxe 8

Engine: Straight 8
Transmission: 2 Speed Auto
Mileage: 79,290 ( undocumented )

Go Pack(ard) GO!!!! We have an awe inspiring 1950 Packard Deluxe 8. This is decked out to commemorate the Green Bay Packers. It features a 356ci Straight 8 with a 2 speed auto trans. Take this beauty tailgating to all the games, you will not be disappointed in the amount of heads that will turn while driving this beauty! Although the postwar Packards sold well, the ability to distinguish expensive models from lower-priced models disappeared as all Packards, whether sixes or eights, became virtually alike in styling. Further, amid a booming seller's market, management had decided to direct the company more to volume middle-class models, thus concentrating on selling lower-priced cars instead of more expensive—and more profitable—models. Worse, they also tried to enter the taxi cab and fleet car market. The idea was to gain volume for the years ahead, but that target was missed: Packard simply was not big enough to offer a real challenge to the Big Three, and lacked the deep pockets with which a parent company could shelter them, as well as the model lineup through which to spread the pricing. As a result, Packard's image as a luxury brand was further eroded. As Packard lost buyers of expensive cars, it could not find enough customers for the lesser models to compensate. The shortage of raw materials immediately after the war—which was felt by all manufacturers—hurt Packard more with its volume business than it would have had it had focused on the specialty luxury car market. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1950 Packard Deluxe 8 in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1940 Packard Custom

1940 Packard Custom

Engine: 250 I6
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this MONSTOROUS 1940 Packard Custom. This classic suburban is absolutely a head turner and sure to be king of the road. With a complete restoration being completed on this beauty, she is ready to roll. Powering this big machine is a new 250 I6 with only a little over 100 miles on it since it’s been installed. The transmission is original to the car with no need for a rebuild as it is in full operating order. Even the body panels to the car are original and have just been refurbished to bring this old beauty back to life. The chrome trim through the car is in good condition. The car sits on a set of clean, and classy wide white wall tires accented by the chromed hub caps. Looking at the interior you will see there is more than enough space for a large group of family and friends. While remaining original to the era the upholstery is a nice maroon color and does not have any major rips or tears. If you really want to be taken back to the ‘40s look at the speedometer. Unlike the ones today moving in increments of 10 or 20 this one just goes to 10. It would make for a nice joke if you were to get pulled over, just explain to the office that you were only going 8 MPH according to your speedometer. With plenty of leg room for the whole family this classic ride still has more space to give. The trunk is plenty big to fit some groceries or a couple bags if your interested in going for a weekend drive.
