Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to offer this rare 1991 Lotus Elan M100. Just 3,855 examples were produced between 1989 and 1992 making this a great find.

This Elan M100 is the turbocharged variant producing approximately 162 horsepower. The motor in this Lotus is an Isuzu sourced 1,588cc turbocharged inline 4 cylinder. This motor was extensively modified by Lotus. Some of the modifications to the engine include a new exhaust system, rerouted intake plumbing, improved engine suspension, and modifications to the engine control unit to improve torque and boost response.

Within the last 2 years a lot of work, time, and money has gone into making this Lotus the beautiful car it is today. In that time it received a new PPG paint finish, a new convertible top, new seat upholstery, new carpeting, and all general maintenance was performed. This car has always been garage kept.

These M100’s are known for their controllability and excellent handling. It is not often that a front wheel drive sports car performs as well as this in the corners. Because of the extremely light weight of this Lotus, the estimated 162hp will get you to your destination in a hurry.

Whether you are looking for a track car that brings a smile to your face, or a Sunday driver that is a pleasure to drive, look no further. This Lotus will put a smile on your face and bring endless fun.

Features on this M100 include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, CD player, manual convertible top, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, power windows, antilock brakes, power mirrors, seat belts, passenger airbag, vinyl interior, aluminum wheels, and radial tires.

1957 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie

1957 Chevrolet Corvette Fuelie

Engine: 283 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 4175 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this incredible 1957 Chevrolet Corvette to our Dallas showroom located in DFW Airport, TX! The Corvette has become something of a legend in the automobile world as it represents one of the greatest concepts, a sports car that is unique and most importantly, American. That feeling is just as strong as it was back then and continues to pave the way for the great car’s bright future. We are proud to present this stunning 1957 Corvette, a prime representation of the C1 generation. Cloaked in an amazing shade of Cascade Green it is a 250 HP original fuelie car. The Corvette had a full rotisserie restoration which puts this car over the top among other Corvettes. The single headlights, the last year for this option, shine brightly and the AM wonder bar radio continues to crank out great tunes just as it did back in 1957. Original factory gauges still work strongly including the center mounted tachometer. Powering this amazing car is a correct 250 horsepower 283 V8 engine with a Rochester Ramjet factory fuel injection system making this Corvette one of 1,040 fuelies produced! Coupled to the healthy engine is the correct four-speed manual transmission that shifts with ease. The interior is just as nice as the exterior with the original ivory shade. A manual beige top matches perfectly with the carpet and provides a striking combination of color and style with the beautiful body lines and paint. This car was well-taken care of for the majority of its life and is seeking a new home to start the next chapter. This Corvette was even on display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. How cool is that! Don’t miss an opportunity to own a piece of history. 1970 Dodge Charger

1970 Dodge Charger

Engine: 440-6 V8
Transmission: 727 Automatic
Mileage: 1149 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a showroom condition, 1970 Dodge Charger restored as a tribute to the record setting Dodge Charger Daytona. Dodge Daytona’s, also known as the "Winged Warriors", did not compete for long in NASCAR's top Cup series. On the next season of NASCAR, the executives banned aero specs on cars with engines bigger than 300 Cubic inches. Because of their exceptional speed and performance, NASCAR subsequently changed the rule book, effectively banning all four of the Aero Cars from Dodge, Ford, Mercury, and Plymouth from competition by the end of 1970. The Daytona's short-lived NASCAR career makes these vehicles a piece of history, both in Americana sense as well as engineering. This Charger, now fresh after a restoration, has just 1,149 miles. Under the hood you'll find a 440 6-pack big block backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-spd automatic transmission. This drivetrain puts power to ground through an 8 3/4 rear-end with 3.23 SureGrip gears. Options include: AC, AM radio(not operable), spare tire, jack, power brakes, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, rally wheels and raised white letter radial tires. The rear tires are: BF Goodrich Radial TA 255/60/15. Front: BF Goodrich Radial TA 235/60/15. The thorough restoration was meticulous and consisted of taking the body off the frame and powder coating front end components as well as the K-frame. Original gauges were sent off and refurbished and look great! Heck, the clock is working wonderfully! Just closing the door of a classic you can usually tell the quality of the work performed. These doors shut effortlessly and line up! Looking underneath the vehicle you can tell attention to detail was important to this builder. The biggest benefit someone can obtain here is saving thousands on their own restoration while enjoying a piece of history without worrying about depreciating a true Daytona. It's a win-win. To view this vehicle in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our St. Louis showroom. Please call 618-271-3000 for more information!
