This is the one! For sale in the Fort Lauderdale showroom is this extremely rare TV series, 1976 Ford Gran Torino. Not only is this remarkable Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino one of the 1,000 limited production editions built by Ford in the spring of 1976, of which only 300 or fewer are still known to be in existence, it was one of the two used by Spelling Goldberg Productions on the actual 1970s TV series. According to a hand written letter it was identified as Unit 129 and was used as a camera car on the TV series for the 77 through 79 seasons. Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul sat in and drove this car!

The vehicle comes with documentation verifying its use on the TV series in a letter from Buddy Loesch, who worked in the TV show’s transportation department along with a cancelled check from Spelling Goldberg Productions with the car’s description on it listing it as “Unit 129.” The studio replaced the original 351 with a 429 4 bbl. The red bubble light, police radio, siren, wigwag headlights and telephone seen on the series are still present.

No expense was spared in completeing the restoration. Costs exceeded $60,000 and took three years to complete bringing the car to show quality. The previous owner who completed the restoration advised that the car was once owned by the Hollywood Museum before being sold to a private owner and that the car had approximately 60,000 miles on it before its restoration and engine rebuild.

The production company doing the remake movie Starsky & Hutch solicited to lease the car for use in the making of the movie but the request was declined as the production company could not guarantee they would not damage the car during filming. The car is in brilliant show quality condition, has been garage kept and covered and never driven in harsh weather conditions.

Options include AM/FM/CD radio, spare tire, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. 1975 Ford F150

1975 Ford F150

Engine: 400 V8
Transmission: C6 Automatic
Mileage: 3592 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is an awesome, frame off restored 1975 Ford F150 4X4. This 4-wheel drive Ford looks reminiscent of the old school Big Foot monster truck, with its big fat radial tires and lift kit. The green and white exterior paint provide a classic 70’s look, and the green actually has a hint of metallic flake that helps it sparkle in the sunlight. The cloth bench seat is out of a late model truck but fits in well with the rest of the stock interior. Looking at the gauge cluster you will see white faced gauges, which are normally black, this provides a sportier look to the overall interior. This 75’ Ford is powered by a 400 CID V8 engine with a new valve train with lifters, cam, valve springs, and timing chain. Headman headers flow to the full dual exhaust that dump out on each side, in front of the rear tires, and produce a truly awesome sound. A C6 automatic transmission has been employed to shift the power to transfer case, which in turn puts the power to all four corners when desired. The 33x12.50 mammoth radial tires are mounted to 15-inch Weld aluminum/alloy wheels, which fit this truck and this build style to a T. The odometer reads 3,592, which represents the mileage on the truck since the restoration was complete. Options for the 1975 Ford F150 4X4 include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. A lot of love and care went into this frame off restoration. This 75’ Ford F150 4X4 truck will not disappoint and will be a welcomed addition to any car show or off-road rally. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this wicked 1975 Ford Bronco at our Philadelphia showroom in West Deptford, NJ! This vehicle was derived with genuine originality in that the frame, suspension and body were not shared by any other model in Ford’s fleet. Representing the ninth year of the famed model, this 1975 Ford Bronco is large and in charge wearing a great combination of orange and charcoal paint while sitting on impressive BF Goodrich T/A® All Terrain tires. Hop inside to check out a comfortable interior equipped with peanut shade seats. 1977 Ford Thunderbird

1977 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: C6 Automatic
Mileage: 43492 ( undocumented )

This awesome 1977 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 7th generation T-Bird was released in 1977 as an intermediate model instead of the full size of the prior generation. Sales would see a huge jump in 77 selling more than 300k cars which was a very impressive feat for the T Bird. This example is a two-owner car that was bought from an estate sale about 7 years ago. The original bill of sale is included and shows the purchase price of almost 8000 dollars. A lot of money at that time but a small price to pay for all this car. The original paint is great condition with a great shine while the deep tan color is classic 70’s. The opera window is a nice touch and was something only available on the T Bird. Under the hood is the original 400 that gets the car down the road nicely. The low-end torque gets up to speed nicely while the 2.73 gear gives the car decent fuel efficiency. The transmission shifts as it should with smooth upshifts that are typical proof of these old cruisers. Open the door and one of the cleanest interiors I have seen is just asking to be sat in. The tan cloth is soft and feels more like velour than your typical cloth. The bucket seats have arm rest that fold up which is something I have not seen before. The dash is stuffed full of gauges keeping everything monitored giving you a sense of confidence over the typical warning lights. If you have been wanting one of these classic 70’s cruisers that goes down the road like only they can this 77 T bird is the perfect one. Options on this 1977 Ford Thunderbird include, AC, AM/FM, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and with Radial Tires. To view this 1977 Ford Thunderbird, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information call the showroom at (812) 294 1555 or email louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1977 Ford F150 XLT

Engine: 460 CID V8
Transmission: C-6 Automatic
Mileage: 5000 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Detroit showroom is this beautiful 1977 Ford F150 Ranger XLT pickup. The Ford F Series is a line of pickup trucks and medium duty commercial trucks that were produced by Ford from 1973 to 1979. This generation also led into the introduction of the F-150 that is today’s most popular model. This generation is noted for the body panel’s durability as Ford used extensive amounts of galvanized sheet metal to fight corrosion. In 1976 the F series became the best selling truck in America, a title that it has held ever since. A luxury line called the Lariat was introduced for 1978; Ranger, Ranger XLT, and Ranger Lariat trim levels incorporated rectangular headlights with optional chrome headlight doors and chrome grille insert. This particular 1977 Ford Ranger has the very powerful 460 cubic inch numbers matching V8 lurking under the hood which was professionally rebuilt by Dynamic Engines just 5,000 miles ago, backed up by a C-6 automatic transmission. The Ranger is in extremely great condition having only 46,552 actual miles. The exterior is finished in an Emerald Green high gloss finish with beautiful chrome trim all the way around. The green interior looks just as good as the exterior finish and looks as though the truck is right off the showroom floor. This Ford has been stored for most of its life and is awaiting the right person to make this their daily driver. With such few miles it is like a brand new truck, only you can make it yours for about half the price of the new one at the dealer down the road. 1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang

Engine: 298 V6
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 32999 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.
