Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is very excited to offer this amazing resto mod 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. The frame off restoration on this beauty is fantastic. All panels fit together nice and even, all doors open and close nice and smooth, and the hood opens and closes nice and easy. It doesn’t matter what angle you look from; this Bel Air is one of the nicest we’ve ever had, and it will win trophy after trophy. If you think the pictures look great, I can assure you it looks even better in person. The amazing red and black exterior paint finish speaks for itself and is the perfect match up to the custom interior sporting the black vinyl and leather seats with red trim.
Powering this beauty is a 383 Stroker pushing out 495 hp. It has Headman headers and an MSD blaster SS, and It’s backed by a manual 4 speed Muncie transmission. You can cruise in this Bel Air and show it off, or you can throw the Hurst shifter in gear and take the 495 horses to the max. Either way you are going to be the envy of the crowd.
Basically, everything was redone on this Bel Air underneath, under the hood, inside, and out. The rear air shocks are fresh, and it has a 411 Posi lock rear end. Power front disk brakes and power steering were added in 2016 as well as a new Sony stereo and speakers, and LED tail lights. Decoding the ID numbers will tell you the original colors were Harbor Blue, and Nassau Blue, but none of that is relevant when you see the beautiful restoration done here.
In 2012 the engine was rebuilt and brought to the impressive finish you see now, by Farmer Automotive in Webster, NY. Since then the engine has barely been broken in with only 9,500 miles added since.
The finished product under the hood is as follows:
Chevrolet 383 stroker motor
4.030 bore 3.75 stroke
Internal balanced cast eagle crank
Eagle 5.700 SIR I beam rods
Speed pro 859 coated dish pistons
L4-4 bolt block

1003 head gaskets 1205 inset

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to have this incredible 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air listed for sale. Modifying any Tri-Five Chevy is sure to upset some purists, but it's hard to find any faults with the work done to this beauty. Having undergone a complete frame-off restoration, the heart of this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a supercharged 454 CID V8. This 1990 marine high-performance big block engine was line honed, decked and balanced, and it was extensively upgraded with J-E Pistons, Speed Pro Plasma-Moly Rings, Eagle Rods, Comp Cams Pure Energy Camshaft, Comp Cams Magnum Roller Rocker Arms, Crane Roller Lifters and an MSD ignition system including high torque starter, distributor, coil and cap. This engine mates to a TH400 Turbo 400 with Gear Vendor Under/Over drive, a TCI 2500 Stall Converter and a Hurst shifter. This power is sent to the rear wheel through a nine-inch Ford rear end that has been shortened by eight inches for the mini tubs, and overall performance and handling has been optimized with tubular steel A-arms, Hotchkiss dropped spindles and four-wheel disc brakes. And that's just the performance side of this car. The body is straight and was given a rich, custom black-over-burgundy paint job with beautiful chrome and 15-inch Center Line wheels. To maintain the stock look of this car, the blown big block is mounted 6.5 inches lower and moved back a full eight inches to accommodate the blower without requiring any changes to the hood. Even the inside received a custom touch replacing the standard '55 interior with a leather-wrapped cabin out of a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air include air conditioning, AM/FM radio, cassette, power brakes, power steering, power seats, tilt steering wheel, seat belts, leather interior, aluminum alloy wheels and radial tires. This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. GM would release one of the most iconic line of vehicles they would ever produce. The 1956 model would take the 55’s success and run with it. Minimal styling ques would freshen it up with the rear end beginning to show the evolution of the fins. This example is what many thinks of when you say 56 Bel Air. The black and white paint looks great while showing off those classic lines. The custom wheels are a great touch giving the 56 a modern look with a classic feel. Under the hood is an updated version of the now classic small block. This 350 is putting down quite a bit more power than the original while being quite a bit more durable as well. The 4-barrel carb feeds this small block just the right amount of fuel with the dual exhaust taking care of those spent exhaust gasses. The TH350 transmission handles the power perfectly shifting thru the gears without hitch. Open the door on this 56 and a stock looking interior is inviting to say the least. The big bench seat upfront is amazingly comfortable and what you would expect in a car like this. The custom steering wheel is a great finishing touch putting an exclamation point on this great build. The powertrain on this truck has been vastly improved; this Chevy has a 350 CID Crate Motor tied to a 5-speed Tremek manual transmission that has recently been fitted with a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. Inside the regular cab, it is clear that no expense has been spared: new panels were installed, the seats have been re-wrapped, a new radio and speakers were fitted and all windows have been tinted. The center console with cupholders and storage space makes this truck feel a lot newer than it is and the fully functioning AC will keep you cool while you cruise around town in this hot ride. This is the best example of an early 80’s C-10 I have ever set my eyes on and it is an absolute joy to drive. The mounted tach on the hood keeps you firmly in ‘race mode’ whether you’re hauling wood for your neighbor or hitting the country roads for a Sunday blast. Options on this classic pickup include: Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels and Red-Striped Radial Tires. The bed is lined with a black tonneau cover that looks right at home with this excellent build. You will have a lot of fun in this truck and it is built to last: there are only 10,000 miles on the new motor and that leaves plenty of life for its new owner to enjoy. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 14,243 ( actual )
Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a cherry 1980 Chevrolet Blazer. This ’80 Blazer has all the right stuff to make for a collectible 4x4. This is a full-sized Blazer which has the removeable rear top. For those wanting to feel the wind in their hair, just lift off the hard top to have some fun in the sun. Of course, it has possibly the most well-known engine in American automotive history under the hood: a small block Chevy 350. Behind the 350 is a 4-speed automatic trans, and NP205 transfer case, and solid axles both front and rear. This is a very capable off roader with it’s 4” lift and aggressive mud tires. You my however choose to keep this one ON road, given the mileage is quite low at only 14,243 original miles. That’s right, less than 15,000 miles on this beaut. It wears Light Camel Metallic on the exterior, and matching Camel interior; both of which look almost new. This truck has clearly been well cared for and had an easy life. Most trucks from this era have either rusted to pieces or been used and abused. It’s nice to see such a well preserved example which can be enjoyed for many years to come. You can see this awesome 1980 Chevrolet Blazer in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or email@example.com.
