Engine: 3.9L V8 DOHC 32VTransmission: 5 Speed Automatic with Over DriveMileage: 29,159 ( actual )
Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer a beautiful 2002 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The eleventh generation had the same two-seat coupe/convertible layout as the first generation as well as some of the same characteristics as was on the 55’-57’ T-Birds. Because the Thunderbird shared the same DEW98 platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type, they shared interior styling particularly in the dash area, instrument panel, steering wheel and a Jaguar designed AJ-30 3.9L DOHC V8. This particular model is hiding a 3.9L V8 FI DOHC 32V engine and a 5 speed automatic transmission under the hood and has a total of only 29,159 miles. The T-Bird features a rare and desirable color: Thunderbird Ebony black, trimmed in red. This color is reminiscent of the '55 Thunderbirds which featured a similar color option. With such low miles, the car is just as clean as you'd guess, and would make a great show car, or an extremely clean driver. This Thunderbirds retain the looks and style of a classic, but all the creature comforts of a late model, so an enthusiast can get the best of both worlds. Gateway Classic Cars of Saint Louis is thrilled to offer for sale this very nice white 2002 Ford Thunderbird convertible. BACKGROUND: After a five-year hiatus, Ford re-introduced its retro-futuristic 11th generation (2002-2005) Ford Thunderbird according to the 1st generation formula, as a two-seat coupe/convertible layout reminiscent of the first-generation. This 11th generation Thunderbird was built on the same platform as the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. It also shared an instrument panel, steering wheel, and other trim pieces with the Lincoln LS. The sole engine of the Thunderbird was a Jaguar-designed AJ-30 3.9 L DOHC V8, a short-stroke variant of the Jaguar AJ-26 4.0 L V8, making 252 horsepower and 267 lb·ft of torque. The engine was mated to Ford's 5R55N 5-speed automatic transmission. This particular 2002 Ford Thunderbird is just what you have been looking for. It only has 39,800 odometer miles and exterior body doesn't have any scratches, dents, or imperfections. The chromes wheels have not been damaged by curbside parking. One of the most attractive features about the 11th generation Thunderbird is the round rear window (blind spot issues aside). The removeable hardtop on this Thunderbird is in impeccable condition. The interior condition matches the appearance of low usage that the exterior has. The leather seats do not show any excessive wear, the dash looks great, all the gauges and instruments function as new, and there are no noticeable scratches, tears or odors. The convertible top is clean and closes tight. Mechanically, as you can see and hear in the video, this 2002 Ford Thunderbird has all the power and ambition it had as when it first rolled off the assembly line. It runs smooths, changes gears seamlessly, and has a great turn radius. We are excited to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Saint Louis showroom is a 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra. This SVT Cobra is far from what was original. Accomplishing this feat is a high performance clutch, lower stiffer springs by Eibach, adjustable camber/caster plates, and independent rear suspension with 3.31 rear gears and some sticky rubber. Adding to the menacing look of the Cobra is a set of aftermarket black wheels with polished lips and an '03-'04 Cobra front bumper and hood. Engine: 4.6L V8 FI SOHC 16VTransmission: 5-Speed Manual w/ ODMileage: 2,055 ( actual )
Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this 2002 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 to our Philadelphia showroom. This car finished in White with Charcoal interior is like new with only 2,055 original miles. In 2002 Ford had not started selling supercharged Mustangs. The only way to get a Mustang with this kind of power was to look to an aftermarket up fitter. The Supercharged version of the S-281 was first introduced as an option for the New Edge Mustang in 1999 with a horsepower rating of 350 (261 kW). Designated as Saleen 281 CID Supercharged, this designation was widely recognized as a separate model in 2000 with more options becoming available by Saleen. Notable internal differences of an S-281SC introduced a dual gauge instrument cluster above the dashboard, while the only external difference was a Saleen Heat Extractor hood. Unlike most of our cars the best thing I can tell you about this Mustang is that it has not been modified. The only thing that has been changed on this car are the pulleys and the oil. The pulleys have been upgraded with a set of Saleen Underdrive pieces. The S281 Supercharged addition was quickly accepted by Saleen customers as the benchmark in performance Mustangs. Manufactured with a sophisticated Saleen Series II Supercharger system and “PowerFlash” performance calibration system. Packing a neck-snapping 365 horsepower and 400 ft. lbs. of torque, the S281 Supercharged provides the driver a 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds, with the quarter mile flashing by at only 13.2 seconds. To view this 2002 Ford Mustang GT Saleen S281 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Ford Model T Two-seater Roadsters which had a bucket shaped body were used as the base for the “T-Bucket”, a hot-rodder which were created and named by Norm Grabowski. Engine: Flathead 4Transmission: 3-Speed ManualMileage: 5,632 ( undocumented )
For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door, 5 window coupe, and features a fold-a-way rumble seat behind the cab of the car. 1931 would be the last year for the ever popular Model A. Most would say the 5 window to be one of the most popular, especially for hot rodders. However, this fine example is no hot rod. This is a very well cared for original that has been fitted with some aftermarket add ons. First, and fairly common, are the add on turn signals. The next one is a big one, an inline gear reduction unit, a.k.a. an overdrive unit. This will make highway speeds a reality. It engages electronically via a switch located on the steering column. The body is finished in a dark brown that features a very slight metallic flake, the fenders are a solid gloss black, and the wire wheels are finished in yellow. The body features a yellow pinstripe to tie the whole thing together. The seat in the cab and rumble seat feature black vinyl upholstery, which are in very good condition. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The odometer reads 5,632, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe include Vinyl Interior, Wire Wheels, Bias Ply Tires, and a Rumble Seat. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. It is ready for a parade or just a nice stroll on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Take home a piece of history with this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. To view this 1931 Ford Model A in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
