Up for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classic 1969 Ford Mustang Grande. 1969 saw the addition of the third restyling of the Mustang with more heft to the body with it being extended almost 4 inches ad the width increased by a half an inch. The Grande edition was also a new edition as a luxury model that featured a softer ride, extra sound deadening material added to the car, as well as a deluxe interior with wood trim.
This one is powered by a 351 CiD V8 Windsor motor that runs strong & healthy throughout the power band. The car in an M code car and originally came with a 390 V8. The extremely popular 351 is paired to a C4 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly up & down through the gears. The engine bay is clean and rust free. All wires and components are neatly mounted and placed, & it does have Ford polished valve covers & air cleaner. The car also has dual exhaust.
The exterior of the car is in very nice condition. The paint is very nice and is free from any dings, dents, or major scratches. The car does not have a very glossy finish, but it is that of a very nice driver & still shows well. The body panel gaps are even, and the body is straight & true. The polished trim is nice as well and doesn’t require any attention. The bumpers, grill, emblems, & glass are also in very nice shape and are ready to roll. The vinyl top is also in fantastic condition and is free from tears or blemishes. Keeping the authentic classic look of the car is the original Ford hub cap wheels that are wrapped in newer radial tires that have plenty of life in them.
The interior is in excellent condition and is great looking on the Grande edition. The vinyl & cloth seats are in superb condition and are comfortable. The carpet, dash, door panels, & headliner follow suit and are all in very nice shape. The deluxe interior trim on the car is much different & unique when almost every other mustang on the market with the same basic look. So, it separates itself from the market with that factor.
The car is rust free and it was well cared for over the years. The trunk is very clean as well. The car looks just as good underneath it as it does on top. New suspension & bushings are evident. Car is believed to have original miles, but it is not documented.

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1970 Ford Mach 1. The Mach 1 package was only available in the 'SportsRoof' body style (previously known as the 'Fastback'); never on the hardtop or convertible. Many resto-mod visual conversions have since been performed by owners and enthusiasts, but are not Mach 1's by VIN code. The Mach 1 started with V8 powered 'Sportsroof' body and added numerous visual and performance enhancing items such as matte black hood treatment with hood pins, hood scoop (including optional Shaker scoop), competition suspension, chrome pop-open gas cap, revised wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires, chrome exhaust tips (except 351W 2V), deluxe interior, livery and dealer optional chin spoiler, rear deck spoiler, and rear window louvers (SportSlats). Mach 1s came with upgraded suspension to varying degrees dependent upon powertrain choices. Big block cars had front shock tower reinforcement, thicker sway bars (no rear bar for 69), and heavier springs and shocks. 428 CJ/SCJ 4 speed cars also came with staggered rear shocks. Standard on Mach 1s was a fierce but cosmetic hood scoop that had integrated turn-signal lights mounted in the back. A more functional option was the signature "Shaker hood", an air scoop mounted directly to the top of the motor, used to collect fresh air and so named for its tendency to "shake" above the rumbling V-8 below. The interior came complete with teak wood grain details, full sound deadening material and high-back sport bucket seats. Ford kept the Mach 1 alive into 1970 and little changed other than the visuals. The 1970 body included dual-beam headlights with the previous inner headlights becoming sport lamps and recessed taillights on a black honeycomb rear panel, side scoops behind both doors removed, revised bucket seats, deep dish sports wheel covers, as well as new side and rear badging and striping were the main visual differences. 1970 saw the previous 351W V8 engine options replaced with a new 351 cu in (5.8 L) Cleveland (351C) V8 in either 2V (for use with 2-venturi carbs) or 4V (for use with 4-venturi carbs) versions. The 351C 4V (M code) engine featured 11.0:1 compression and produced 300 bhp (224 kW; 304 PS) at 5400 rpm. This new performance engine incorporated elements learned from the Ford 385 series engine and the Boss 302, particularly the poly-angle combustion chambers with canted valves and the thin-wall casting technology. We are looking here at an original S-Code 390ci 4-barrel carburetor V8 big block 68 Mustang Fastback with a 4 speed manual transmission. It was also ordered with the GT Equipment Group. Now you get the idea of what this Fastback is all about and we are thrilled to have it here with us in our South Florida showroom. The Fastback shows very well and drives even better. The blue exterior is just beautiful and it comes with a clean and loaded interior. First thing you will see is the nice center console when you open the door. The rear end housing, bell housing, valve covers, door / trunk hinges and air cleaner were powder-coated. A powerful 408 CI Roller Motor is the powerplant. The motor features an Eagle stroker kit, comp cam, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold,750CFM Holley Carb, Aluminum heads, roller rockers, March Pulley System, Canton road race oil pan, and all going through headman headers paired with Flow Master Exhaust to deliver that perfect exhaust note. To ensure comfortable summer drives, a Vintage air conditioning system is also included. Backing this awesome powerplant is a brand new T5 5 speed manual transmission leading to a Ford 9-inch rear with smooth cruising 3:50 gears. The suspension system has brand new parts as well including Upper and lower control arms, tire rod ends, drag link and a new Borgesson power steering conversion. The gleaming shine coming from inside the NITTO 555 G2 Tires (255 Front 275 Rear) is thanks to the 17-inch TSW Snetterton Chrome rims that really pop with the SPI Red paint. This good looking 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success, and while "Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth, he did oversee the redesign for 1967. The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967 model) and chrome (1968 model) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. This convertible comes with the venerable 289 CID V8 engine with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The car may have been repainted at some time, but the original color is Lime Gold (Code I) and the current owner has had the car for over 15 years. The exterior has been finished with a nice set of factory rally wheels. It gives this a convertible just a little bit sportier look. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this excellent 1968 Ford Mustang GT. The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power. The 1971 model saw a drastic redesign to its predecessors. After an initial surge, sales were steadily declining, as Ford began working on a new generation Mustang. With the onset of the 1973 oil crisis, Ford was prepared, having already designed the smaller Mustang II for the 1974 model year. This new car had no common components with preceding models. This car has recently finished its restoration with only 185 miles since being a finished project. The car originally came from California and is an actual GT from the factory. It has been repainted to the Highland Green with a stylish black stripe painted on the hood. This car has had the original set up and 302 replaced with a 428, 4 speed manual, Ford 9” rear end, and has a 3.73 gearing. The Ram Air hood is functional and adds an aggressive stylish look to this 1st generation Mustang GT. This 1968 Ford Mustang is available at our Louisville KY showroom. The Terlingua Racing Team was named after a small community in Texas that Carrol Shelby and some close friends bought so they would have a place to go and blow off steam. Eventually Neale would draw up a logo that was placed on Shelby’s first ever GT350r right before its first race. As history has it that car would go on to win that first race and the emblem found its own place in the record books. This example is a great replica of what you would have seen racing in the SCCA Tran Am series of the day. The yellow paint is probably nicer than any of those race cars as it calls out for your attention. The stickers on the car are all classic 60’s and even has Shelby listed as social director which he actually was in Terlingua. Under the hood is a very healthy 302 that has a ton of power with a great exhaust note. Hit the button for the remote cutouts and that sweet exhaust note becomes a nasty growl. The C4 transmission handles the power nicely transferring to the 8 inch rear-end. Open the doors and a black vinyl interior is very inviting. The bucket seats are comfortable while giving you that old school feel. You will see something that never came in the original race cars and that is AC. Yes, you get the look and feel of an old school SCCA race car with the comfort of AC does it really get any better than that. If you have been wanting to get into a car that has the nostalgia racer look with some modern comfort thrown in this is the Pony for you. For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Camaro/Mustang rivalry had begun in 1967 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The Camaro was the largest threat to the lead Ford had in the "pony car" field, a market segment largely created by Ford with the introduction of the Mustang in mid-year 1964. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. In an effort to improve the Mustang's image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. The 1969–70 Boss 302 (Hi-Po) engine was created in 1968 for the SCCA's 1969 Trans-Am road racing series. Available in the Boss 302 Mustangs of 1969–70, it's a unique Ford small-block engine featuring a thin-wall, high nickel content block casting. It differed substantially from regular 302s, with 4-bolt mains, screw in freeze plugs, and heads using a canted valve design being developed for the planned 351 Cleveland (which debuted the following year). The construction was aided by the two engines sharing a cylinder head bolt pattern, though the Boss 302 heads had to have their coolant passages slightly modified. This optional engine, and indeed the entire vehicle package, including handling and aerodynamic aids, was made available for the express purpose of meeting the guidelines to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series, which limited engine displacement to 305 C.I.D. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this 1965 Ford Mustang. This Mustang has had a little work since it came of the assembly in ’65. The great black on black color combination is a great look for these first generation Mustangs. Inside you are greeted by a clean black leather interior with a custom center console and 2 added cup holders. It has an aftermarket radio hooked up to two speakers near the rear window. Outside is the nice shiny black paint that has just recently been buffed and waxed. Under the hood the original 289 V8 has been replaced by a 351 Windsor V8 that fires up with a simple turn of the key, and is attached to an automatic four speed transmission. The front headlights have added LED Angel eyes around the headlights and the rear brake and turn signals have also been upgraded to LED. It sits on 14 inch aluminum American Racing wheels. Fire up this bad boy and let the dual exhaust engine produce all the toons you need. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this luxurious 1972 Ford LTD. LTD’s are great mixture of luxury, comfort, & power, which was the goal when introduced by Ford all the way back in 1965. This is because it has enough room to seat 5-6 comfortably, yet still enough power to zip around. 1972 models were virtually the same as the '71s, although the bumper now stretched across the lower section of the grille. A new rear bumper integrated the taillights; also, in the rear, the design of the trunk lid was squared off. Due to decreased demand in the segment, 1972 was the final model year for the LTD convertible. This LTD is painted a beautiful baby-blue, with an original top, which remains in very good shape, especially when you consider its age. The interior also appears to be original cloth in good shape, with paisley designs on the lower-half, which was very popular choice back in the early-mid 70’s. All this is powered around by 400-V8 2 Barrel motor/ 3-speed automatic, that gives you plenty of power to haul around a full set of passengers or speed around alone. Finally, my favorite part to this vehicle, as all this sets on fancy set of white-wall tires and Ford Motor Company wheels, with a crown in the center, marking this vehicle is fit for a King or Queen.
