The body is free from any dings, dents, or major blemishes. The doors open & close with ease and all the body panel gaps meet evenly and are evenly spaced. The top is covered in a new Hartz cloth top that looks great contrasting against the orange body. The exterior chrome & trim are also in great shape as well as the glass in the car. Someone took their time getting this beauty show ready and the next owner will appreciate the work put into the car. The coupe has had the suspension replaced with more modern & responsive equipment. New Mustang II front end suspension with coil over springs & struts replaced the old solid axle, 4-link suspension in the rear really change the handling in this car and make it drive like a more modern car.
Powering this sleek hot rod down the road is a new crate Ford 302 CiD V8 outfitted with (2) 4-barrel Holley performance carburetors on top of a high-rise intake manifold that feed all the fuel this small block can handle. Some performance headers that lead into a true dual SS exhaust system give this car just the right sound and throttle response you want out of a car like this. It also has an aluminum radiator with an electric fan to keep things nice & cool while cruising. The small block is paired to a new 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smooth without harsh engagement. The also features a set of 4.11 gears in the Ford rear end diff so that will keep the RPM’s low, so it is built to be driver’s car.
Stepping into the driver’s seat you will find a comfortable and plush red cloth interior that is in like new condition. The two bucket seats in the front are comfortable and free from any tears & rips. The rear wrap around bench seat is very cool and also in great shape.
