Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this very cool 1935 Buick Series 40. This very attractive Buick has been fitted with all the right toys to make it one of the best cruising hot rods on the road. Most importantly, this Buick is equipped with a very powerful 350 CID Chevy small block V8 that provides plenty of power to move this steel bodied Buick around town. The Claret Red colored paint on this Buick jumps out at you and does a perfect job of showing off the beautiful, curvaceous body lines on this Buick which still retains all of the original steel body parts. The Claret Red theme is continued onto the interior of this cool hot rod and is a perfect complement to this stylish exterior. The Classic Instrument dash layout is very simple and informative, just as how it should be and looks great with the burrel wood dash. This pretty Buick rests on a set of Cragar wheels wrapped in a crisp set of Hankook Radials which have plenty of tread left on them. There really is no better feeling that being in a Hot Rod that gets you thumbs up at every corner you turn. 1935 Buick Series 40

1935 Buick Series 40

Engine: 383 Stroker
Transmission: T10 Richmond 4 Speed
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

This one-off custom 1935 Buick Series 40 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Streetrods have been a staple in the car for world for an extremely long time. This Streetrod has been customized to a degree that is sure to make the next owner proud to call it their own. Starting with smoothing the body by removing the bumpers the car began to take shape. The opera windows were closed off with a custom skull carved into a piece of sheet metal which was laid on top. Turn on the red LED behind it and watch as it comes to life. The skull theme is carried on into the grill which is one of the neatest pieces I have seen. The red lights behind it illuminate it and help to showoff how much detail went into this build. Even the side marker lights have been cut out into skulls, but the best has to be the custom hood ornament with its little red eyes glowing at you. The body has been sitting back on the original frame which was cleaned up for a nicer look. The front end has been switched out to a more modern Mustang II style giving it a better ride. The rear end is courtesy of a S10 with the ladder bar suspension helping to plant all the power to the ground. Speaking of power, the 383 stroker under that hood is enough to wake the dead. Consisting of Procomp Aluminum Heads, a Holley 750 Double Pumper, and HEI Distributor this is one rowdy small block. An aluminum dress up kit makes it look good while Hedman Headers take care of the exhaust. The Richmond 4 speed makes this rod, a blast to drive and something not seen in too many of them. Open the doors and you will notice it’s a clear shot straight through with no B pillar to obstruct the view. With reinforcements added you don’t have to worry about the body beginning to sag over time. The front seats are out of a 95 Mustang and have been recovered to match the rest of the car. Although it appears to have manual windows hit the handle down or up and the power window moves accordingly. If you have been looking for a great custom streetrod that is sure to grab everyone’s attention this 35 Series Buick is the one. Options on this 1935 Buick Series 40 include; Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seat, Manual Convertible Top, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Up for sale in the Fort Lauderdale showroom is this stunning 1937 Buick Roadmaster Phaeton. Buick shocked the experts in 1937 by unveiling a new line that was even bigger, better, more beautiful and faster than ever before. The rarest and top of the line convertible was this model 80 C, produced in very limited numbers of 1,020, and consequently the most sought after today. It then went on to further showings and won the senior national award in Mason City Iowa in August of 1988. In 1992 the vehicle was sold to a private museum and well cared for where it remained until 1999. Since then, under private ownership, the car has been used for occasional shows and personal driving pleasure. 1940 Buick Special Coupe

1940 Buick Special Coupe

Engine: 248 ci
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 46,785 ( undocumented )

Our Atlanta Showroom is proud have this 1940 Buick Special Coupe for sale. The Buick Straight-eight engine (Fireball 8) was produced from 1931 to 1953 and sold in Buick automobiles, replacing the Buick Straight-6 engine across the board in all models in 1931. Like many American automobile makers, Buick adopted the straight-8 engine in 1931 as a more powerful alternative to the previous engines. However, unlike most other car makers at the time, Buick had been using a valve-in-head/OHV overhead valve design or I-head since its inception and continued this practice in their inline-8 designs. When introduced in 1940 the new Series 50 Super featured the cutting-edge "torpedo" C-body. When combined with a column mounted shift lever the cars offered true six passenger comfort, changes that had clearly been influenced by the Cadillac Sixty Special. The basic formula for the 1940 to 1952 Super was established by mating the Roadmaster's longer behind the engine cowl body to the Series 40 Special's smaller straight-eight engine and consequently shorter engine compartment. This led to an economical combination of voluminous passenger room and relatively good fuel economy. This 2 door model had a frame off restoration about 10 years ago. The car was completely disassembled stripped and repainted. The owner laid down 12k to paint this time capsule and put in all new rubber, glass, chrome wheels, new interior with high quality leather, and all new brakes. There was over $50,000 invested in the restoration. The Buick starts, runs, drives, and stops like it should. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833 or e-mail us at Atlanta@GatewayClassicCars.com!

1970 Buick LeSabre

1970 Buick LeSabre

Engine: 455
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 33,087 ( actual )

We have an awesome 1970 Buick Le Sabre It features a gold exterior and black vinyl interior. It boasts a powerful 455ci motor backed by an automatic transmission. Only minor detail changes including grille and taillight revisions were made to the 1970 LeSabre. New features this year included a hidden radio antenna which amounted to two wires embedded in the windshield. Wheelbase was increased by one inch to 124 inches (3,100 mm), matching direct competitors such as Oldsmobile Delta 88, Mercury Monterey and Chrysler Newport. Both base and Custom models were again offered. Engines were revised with the standard 350 two-barrel V8 increased in horsepower from 230 to 260. A new option for 1970 was a low-compression regular-fuel version of the 350 four-barrel rated at 285 horsepower and the high-compression premium fuel 350 four-barrel V8 was reworked with horsepower upped to 315 on a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio. Added to the lineup was a new LeSabre 455 line which shared interior and exterior trimmings with the LeSabre Custom and was powered by Buick's new 455 cubic-inch V8 with four-barrel carburetor, 10.25 to 1 compression and 370 horsepower, which also required premium fuel. Transmission offerings included a standard three-speed manual with column shift for the base 350 two-barrel or optional three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic 350 automatic, which was standard equipment with the two 350 four-barrel engines. This transmission completely replaced the old two-speed automatic offered with the smaller base engines in past years, while the 455 was paired with the Turbo Hydra-matic 400. Buick now joined other GM divisions in marketing the automatic transmission under the Turbo Hydra-matic trade name rather than the "Super Turbine" designation used since 1964. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1970 Buick Le Sabre in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.
