For sale in our Houston showroom is a very cool 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. Tri-Fives have become a symbol of Americana. From four doors, to two doors, to wagons, and convertibles, they're loveable and enjoyable in their own way. Perhaps the most sought after, is the two-door wagon known as a Nomad.

This Nomad is believed to have had a body-on restoration. It’s powered by a 1996 Chevrolet 350 CID V8 with only around 11,500 miles on it since the rebuild. The engine is paired up with a 4-speed automatic transmission the takes you through the gears with ease. The car did receive upgraded Monroe shocks and disk brakes to provide plenty of stopping power. The chromed wire wheels and thin white wall tires compliment this car very well, and even matches the color combination.

The Red and White paint is in great condition with only minor blemishes common on any type of driver. The car is still fully capable of attending any car show as well and surely able to turn some heads. All the chrome trim is in great condition along with the badging and glass.

The interior features a matching color scheme with custom red and black seats. This car has plenty of space even behind the massive steering wheel with the addition of the tilt feature. A fully custom digital gauge cluster provides a more modern yet clean appearance to the car, with all the gauges in working condition. With the functional AM/FM radio/cassette you can enjoy your favorite tunes while cruising the coast. The A/C system blows but not cold, but that shouldn’t be something to turn you away from the sleek beauty. The car also comes with a custom-fitted California Car Cover to protect it from the elements and decrease any potential for dents or dings.

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this astonishing 1957 Chevrolet Nomad. How would you describe the word “restored?” Some may say, “like new,” “reconditioned to original,” or “returning to how it left the factory.” All of those descriptions would be correct. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,272 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1957 Chevrolet 210. It is powered by a 350 CID V8 Chevrolet engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. It is a top quality 350 with new pistons, rings, bearings, cam, lifters, oil pump, main bearings, timing chain and gears and bored 30 over. It has had the head clearance done, new guides, valve seats, new locks, retainers and springs. The flywheel was faced, and it had a new clutch disc put in. You will be comfortable and have peace of mind riding around in this one with its air conditioning, AM/FM radio, seat belts, spare tire, jack cloth interior, radial tires, raised white wall tires and rally wheels. This car belongs to a collection of cars from Chevrolet called the Tri-Fives. This refers to the Bel Air, 150, 210 and Nomad produced for 1955, 1956 and 1967. They all featured a front engine rear drive layout and remain some of the most popular years for collectors and hot rodders to this day. The last of the Tri-Five Chevrolets introduced several changes, including the large tailfins, "twin rocket" hood design, even more chrome, tri-color paint and a choice from no less than seven different V8 engines.[14] While in 1957, Ford outsold Chevrolet for the first time in a great while, years later the used 1957 Chevrolets would sell for hundreds more than their Ford counterparts. As the horsepower race continued, Chevrolet introduced a new version of their small block, with 283 cubic inches of displacement and 245 horsepower. They also introduced a limited number of Rochester fuel injected 283 engines that produced 283 horsepower, the first production engine to achieve 1 horsepower per cubic inch. For all intent and purposes, this made the 1957 Bel Air a "hot rod", right off the production line. It was available with manual transmission only. The base 265cid engine saw an increase from 170 to 185 horsepower as well. While not as popular as the previous year's offering, Chevrolet still managed to sell 1.5 million cars in 1957. Even now, the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is one of the most sought-after collector cars ever produced. Don’t miss this chance to own this one. Transmission: TH350 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 997 ( since rebuilt )

This one off custom built 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 57 Chevy is hands down the most Iconic American ever made. The flowing fins are its classic signature mark and what most people think of when you say 57. They have even been able to stay relevant in the car world for over 60 years. This one off 57 can be simplified in word CLEAN. From the welded and smooth frame underneath to the two-tone paint job up top there is just no better to word to describe it. The car was taking down to bare metal with the only patch being a small one on the floor pan. The body was treated to 2 coats of epoxy primer then a high-build primer that was block sanded with a coat of urethane primer on top of that. The 3 coats of silver were then applied giving the car that great two tone look it has now. Protected by a total of 6 coats of clear giving it a mirror like finish. The billet specialty wheels really set the car off while helping to exaggerate its stance. Under the hood is more top-notch craftsmanship with the core support being the first thing you notice. Hoses have been routed through the fenders giving the engine bay a very clean look. The 383 stroker has been dressed up with a set of custom valve covers and matching breather. The power from that 383 is transferred via a TH350 transmission which shifts out just as it should. The 10 bolt posi rear-end has been filled with a set of 4.11 gears giving this 57-great acceleration. Inside you are surrounded by a custom red interior that has an original feel. Once you get in the vehicle it becomes evident that there have been some custom touches that really put this beauty over the top.
