Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this super cool 1968 Dodge SuperBee. Between the classy paint job and the healthy engine, this car is sure to turn heads while cruising down the highway.
Under the hood of this beauty is a 383 CID V8 that was good for roughly 335 horsepower when new thanks to a four-barrel carburetor along with some other internal components. This powerplant allowed the car to reach 60 MPH from a stand still in just over six seconds. sending the V8 power to the rear end is a three-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. The block is finished in Mopar blue that really ties together the look of the engine bay nicely.
Moving outward, the car is finished in metallic gold paint that has some very minor chips and scratches, but otherwise is in good condition. The rear of the car features the original style SuperBee graphic which is in good condition also. Supporting each corner of the car are black steel wheels with polished accents. Wrapped around those wheels are classically styled BF Goodrich redline radial tires with good tread life left in them.
Upon entering the vehicle, the driver will notice the very clean all black interior. The Bench seats are finished in black vinyl that is in good condition. Sitting below the seat is clean black carpet. The driver will appreciate the power steering and power brakes that allow for comfortable maneuvering of this rather large muscle car. Continuing with driver amenities, tucked in the dash is a radio if the sound of the big V8 becomes undesirable. Overall, this car is a very good driver quality and would be well suited for weekend cruises or a local car show.

This good looking 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The data tag confirms this Challenger is a true R/T equipped with a 440 V8 390 HP 3-2BBL Carburetor (six-pack) set-up. The owner does not believe this to be the original 440 V8, but it is period correct to the car. The Yellow is not the original color to the car. Originally the color of this was Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a white vinyl top. We think the yellow exterior and black vinyl top. The interior decodes as vinyl high back bucket seats, but it does not designate the color. The current owner is not completely sure about the rear end, but it originally came with a Super Performance Axle package with 4.10 gears. The complete breakdown of the data tag is available upon request. Overall, this Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack is in very good condition. With the recent work done to the Challenger, it will bring the fun factor. You may want to set aside a little cash as this car is very capable of melting the rear tires. This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T has new brakes, new Holley carburetors (six-pack set-up) and the heads have been reworked. The Atlanta showroom is proud to offer this classic work horse of the sixties a 1966 Dodge D 100. The second generation of the “D” line of trucks. This D 100 for sale sports the ever dependable 290 C.I D. engine and a three on the tree transmission, being the base model for the D 100 series. Both floor pans have been replaced by Grave Robbers along with one of the rockers. Engine and transmission are both in good working order with new spark plugs and plug wires. The interior bench seat has been recovered in a contrasting pleather. This D 100 is ready to show or go. Get your hat, work gloves and the dog, then let’s go to work. Engine: 440 CID V8Transmission: 4 Speed ManualMileage: 2,878 ( since rebuilt )
Through the years of fans and enthusiasts, certain automotive terminology tends to build its own appeal. For example, in most gearheads' minds the term "Plum Crazy" recalls one of Chrysler's most creative and confident eras. "R/T", short for Road/Track, invokes visions of muscle cars prowling small town streets. "Dana 60" or "Scat Pak" incites visions of late-night stoplight brawls and octane-fueled quarter-miles. And who could forget "Hemi", the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. If you are looking for first class Mopar muscle then look no further than this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack car sporting the iconic Plum Crazy purple paint on the exterior with black vinyl top. Being 1 of only 847 Challengers in 1970 to have the 440 Six Pack mated to a 4 speed manual adds even more excitement to owning this classic piece of American muscle. Given its resurgence in popularity, no doubt aided by the current LC-based version, the Challenger is considered by some to be the quintessential American muscle car: a status that naturally invokes an aggressive and exciting aesthetic. At the front of this Challenger, a 1970-exclusive grille hangs an unmistakable "Challenger R/T" badge between pristine headlights, amber parking lamps and a mirrored bumper. Behind that grille, a pinned, Hemi-branded hood props bold "D O D G E" lettering in front of clean glass that is framed in correct stainless and capped by correct vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile hangs correct R/T stripes amid fresh rocker trim, flush door handles, a correct mirror and ornate ""Challenger"" scripts. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed valence centers body-width taillights and more ""D O D G E"" lettering between a second ""Challenger R/T"" badge, a second mirrored bumper and correct, quad-outlet exhaust tips. Open this coupe's light hood and you'll find the legendary, 440 cubic inch Hemi that, while not original to the car, is a date-correct piece that has been professionally rebuilt and maintained to keep it’s nostaligic looks and performance. All of the 390 horses reside in a glossy Hemi Orange block. And exhaust is handled by correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds that feed an H-shaped crossover. Slide under this spotless E-Body and you'll find a solid chassis that's ready for the turntable. Satin Black paint highlights exceptionally clean floors that have been finished to better-than-new condition. Behind the Hemi, lives the original 4 speed manual transmission to the car that is tight and shifts like new. Helping transfer all of this excitement to the pavement are is the factory Dana rear end that houses a set of 3.54 gears. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye Wheels, which twist radial tires with raised white lettering around polished trim rings and silver center caps. Peak your head in the window of this car and you'll find a correct Black interior that's functional, straightforward and very comfortable. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. Below those seats, stain-free carpet floats Challenger-themed mats at the sides of a correct, wood-trimmed console and cool Pistol Grip Shifter. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. And behind the passengers, a nicely finished trunk centers a correct jack and space saver spare tire between a correct mat and new decklid decal. IT'S A HEMI!!! Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to be able to offer this beautiful and powerful 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 426 Hemi! This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. Don’t miss your opportunity to own this very rare and desirable piece of Mopar history. This Coronet is in our Houston showroom. Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1966 Dodge Dart for sale. This 4 barrel 273ci V8 is mated to an automatic transmission. It has been upgraded to factory Dodge disc brakes an has the factory GT emblems. The 1966 Dart remained largely the same as the 1965 models with the same engine and transmission lineup. There was a special 273 offered, however, in the D/Dart, a special drag racing edition. Also, the ball and trunion front joint was replaced with a more common U-joint and the 904 transmissions were now shifted with linkages instead of cables. The only change to the suspension was an optional, small front sway bar. An effective facelift with more squared-off lines, a new rectangular grille, and rectangular headlight bezels was introduced. The intention of the facelift was to better mimic the new Charger. The special drag racing D/Dart was classed in the D/Stock class and featured a 273 with larger Holley carb, headers, hotter cam, and manual choke. It was only offered on two-door GT models. Options include: After Market AC, AM radio, Seat Belts, radial Tires, rally wheels. The only thing it is missing is you in the driver’s seat! Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this gorgeous 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger for sale in our Detroit Showroom. The Dodge Dart Swinger, introduced in 1969, was Dodge’s new compact muscle car. The largest engine option available for these cars was the 340CID V8; however, this Dart Swinger has been fitted with a much more powerful 416CID stroker. This engine is mean! The aggressive and powerful 416CID V8 is backed by a bulletproof 3-speed 727 automatic transmission and a 3.91 rear differential. The combination of all this performance and the lightweight A-body frame makes for a fast and fun muscle car which makes more than 300hp at the wheels! This car comes in a radiant Vitamin C orange with accommodating black accents including the hood and vinyl top. This car was fully restored from top to bottom, inside and out, and even appeared in Mopar Muscle Magazine. The vinyl interior on this car has been freshly redone, so no need to worry about that infamous cracked vinyl. When you place yourself in this orange rocket and look at the dashboard, you see the gorgeously done gauge cluster that makes you want to start it up and take it for a joy ride. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This 440-6 4 speed car benefits from a recent frame off restoration and looks fantastic. The restoration was very detailed and focused on correctness. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of restoration and have covered a modest 500 miles. Enough for proper break in, yet still very fresh. The engine is a warranty replacement from many years ago and the car is equipped with a correct Dana 60 rear end, appropriate for a 6 pack car equipped with a 4 speed. Options are slim but let’s face it, it’s a high performance muscle car... who cares about options. Big block power and a four speed, yes and yes! The three 2 barrel carbs are dialed in nicely. The colors for this rare Mopar are original and perfect for nostalgia. Who else is tired of every car being repainted red? We must save the rare colors from the good days. Burnt Orange Metallic with a white Super Bee stripe over a Sunfire Orange vinyl interior and a set of body colored steel wheels wrapped in redline radials make this car stand out. Whoever spec'd out this car knew exactly what they were doing. Inside are bucket seats, a full array of gauges and a pistol grip shifter. With 390 horsepower and 490 lbs./ft. torque, this 1970 Super Bee is ready to go! For Sale in our Nashville Showroom we are excited to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger. This car is a Star, no really, it’s a been in a Hollywood movie, a popular crime show, and a tire commercial. This 1970 Dodge Challenger was driven by Jack Nicholson in the 2007 movie, The Bucket List. This is not your run of the mill 1970 Dodge Challenger as its not an original car but a resto-mod created by famed muscle-car builder Ted Moser, who also built them for the Fast and Furious movie series. It’s powered by a late model 5.7-liter Hemi V8 backed by an automatic transmission. The whole package is brought to a halt by a set of Weldman disc brakes. After The Bucket List movie, the car appeared in a few TV roles, including on NCIS with Mark Harmon, and the 2010 movie, The Runaways. So, now you know where the cars been, but the best is yet to come. With less than 3000 miles on this build, the car has a ton of life left and is ready for someone to driver her. The late model power plant affords you plenty of power and creature comforts such as air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. Add to this the safety of radial tires and seat belts and this car is like driving a late model with the style of a 1970s. Engine: 340 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 300 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars now has a very special and beautiful 1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible available in Houston! This one is powered by a numbers matching 340 CID V8 engine that goes through a factory TorqueFlite transmission. This engine has only covered less than 500 miles since the car was restored in 2013. Exterior is finished in a red with black top combination. Features include an AM radio, automatic convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. This is part of the fourth generation of Dodge Dart vehicles produced between 1967 and 1976. The Dart was substantially redesigned for the 1967 model year. It received new styling, revised steering systems, wider front track and frame rail spacing. Redesigned K-members were added to accept the larger engines that Dodge had in mind for the car. In 1967 you would also notice the rear window with inverse curves, creating a new and unique appearance at the rear of a greenhouse, but designed to collect snow! The 170 CID I6 was dubbed simply “Dart”, with the 270 and GT carrying on mostly unchanged. In late 1967 the GTS came out in limited quantities due to it’s lateness, but the 1968 was arguably improved anyway, by fitting the new high-output 340 CID V8! That is the car that you are looking at here. The first of the 340 GTS cars. Aside from the engine, changes for 1968 were relatively subtle. The park and turn lights in the grille were moved slightly inboard and made round. Side marker lights were added to the front fenders and rear quarter panels, to comply with newly introduced Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Shoulder harnesses (separate, this year and until 1973, from the lap belts) and non-glare matte finish on the windshield wiper arms were also part of the 1968 federally mandated safety package. This is a hard to find vehicle and a perfect addition to the garage. Engine: Flathead 6Transmission: 3 Speed ManualMileage: 45,309 ( actual )
For sale in our Detroit Showroom is this very unique 1947 Dodge WD-21 truck. Since the beginning of Dodge they have offered light truck models, for the first few years the trucks were built on the platforms of their existing vehicles but soon were produced on their own chassis with their own body designs. Light and medium duty models were only available at first, then a heavy duty lineup was added during the 1930’s and 1940’s. This 1947 Dodge is a medium duty truck produced on the 133 inch wheelbase platform with a very dependable drivetrain starting up front with the 230 cubic inch inline 6 engine. These inline 6 cylinders might not have a ton of horse power, but they were definitely built to last. Following up the engine is the 3 – speed manual transmission that shifts flawlessly and makes this WD-21 a real fun truck to drive. This 1947 Dodge has been restored even though there is just 45,309 actual miles on the truck. The restoration has given the truck a stunning look with the fresh coat of Blue and Black paint and the wood panel bed were given extra care with the finish to make the wood look as if it were still back in the 1940’s. With such low mileage this truck runs and drives beautifully and with nothing more than just regular maintenance will remain this way for many years to come. This Dodge truck will make a great addition to anyone’s truck collection and is a great cruiser having plenty of both passenger and cargo space.
