Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this beautiful 1971 Jaguar XKE. This cars combination of beauty, high performance, and competitive pricing established the model as an icon of the motoring world. This car is estimated to be a sub 7 second car for the 0-60 and makes for a nice fun ride. In 2004 the E-Type was listed the number one sports car of the 60’s. This XKE features the original 5.3L V12 that runs very strong and shifts smoothly through the 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago by the original owner, and can’t wait to have more added to it. This car also features power steering and power brakes to make for a nice driver whenever you want to just take a drive along the coast.
The exterior paint is a very clean Wimbledon White that is in great condition. You’ll find that the chrome accents, bumpers, and lights are all in great condition as well. The car also features a nice set of drilled, and slotted disk brakes on the front of the car. The wire wheels are in great condition, and go very well with the thin white wall tires. The tires might I add, are in like new condition to provide for several miles of cruising left in them.
The interior of the car is in great condition for a 46-year-old vehicle. The originality of the car is something to take notice of on this beauty. Looking throughout the interior, you will see the door paneling, dash, gauges, seats, and even headliner remain in great condition. This car would be great in anyone's garage and is worth seeing in person. To see all the HD pictures and video please go to http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1112/1971-jaguar-xke. Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is the new home for this BEAST. It is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute. This Camaro is powered by a 396 Greg Caletti, of NASCAR fame Motor with 4 speed manual transmission and a Ford rear. Phoenix customs and Restorations did a complete frame off restoration on this car just a few years back. The fantastic custom Cherry finish, with a boat load of metal flake was applied three years ago as well and looks great. This Camaro is equipped with power steering and brakes which have been upgraded with Willwood hardware. The interior is all new with updated gauges and stereo. The gauges appear to be vintage.
