Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this mean 1955 Chevrolet B210. Between the matte black paint and aggressive powertrain, this car is for sure to be a head turner.

Under the hood of this iconic body style is a 350 CID V8 engine that runs very strong. Feeding the engine is a four-barrel carburetor topped by a summit air cleaner. The carburetor is fed from a new fuel tank via new fuel lines. Leading the air/fuel mixture to the intake valves is an Edelbrock intake manifold. Providing spark to the engine is an accel ignition coil. The exhaust is routed out through matte steel headers that dump after flowing through very unrestrictive glass packs that provide the car with a very aggressive sound. Sending that V8 power to the rear end is a four-speed manual transmission that goes through the gears nicely thanks to a rebuild less than 500 miles ago by A1 Transmission. The rear end is fitted with a 3.53 final drive ratio and features a limited slip differential. Chrome valve covers and alternator tie in the chrome and matte black look very well. Overall, this car drives nicely and has plenty of power for a spirited drive.

Moving outward, this sinister beauty is finished in a matte black paint that makes the car look even more aggressive than it already is. All the appropriate trim pieces are there and in good condition. The Chrome bumpers are also in good condition and show good contrast between the black paint. Supporting each corner of this cool car are chrome plated wheels wrapped in radial tires with good tread life left.

Upon entering this classic beauty, the driver will appreciate the classy red and black interior. The bench seats are finished in red vinyl and are in good condition. Sitting below the bench seats is clean black carpet. The dash features original style instrumentation along with an aftermarket tachometer to show how many bald eagles are being released from that hearty powerplant. If the sound of the engine ever gets to be displeasing, the driver will also appreciate the aftermarket radio/CD player. The car also features a kill switch to ensure the batter is not drained when not in use.

Engine: 383 Stroker
Transmission: TH350
Mileage: 3800 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this custom 1955 Chevrolet 210 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The custom Tri-Five world is on fire right now. With builds getting more and more outrageous it’s nothing to see these cars bringing 150000 USD and up. This example has the 6-figure build look just not the price. This 55 sits on a full custom frame that has been made specifically for it. The car now has coil overs on all four corners allowing to customize the ride quality to your liking. The disc brake conversion is one of the best kits available that not only looks great but stops this steel car on a dime. With the rolling chassis taken care the next step would be getting the car ready to sit down on that frame. The paint was applied first with the orange pearl laid on the main body and the pearl light silver metallic making a great contrast you are guaranteed to get nothing but thumbs up in this beauty. Under that stunning orange hood is a 383 stroker motor with only 3800 miles that puts out plenty of power. The built TH350 trans shifts out nicely and handles the power just fine. With the rear-end having a pretty tall gear highway driving can be done with no worries of wrapping up the engine. Inside the leather interior is as comfortable as the lazy boy in your den. The brown goes well with the overall theme but the thing most people notice is the trim. With an absolute ton chrome or polished steel, the inside shines like a new penny. Peak through the steering wheel and you will see a custom gauge pod that has all the vitals right there. If you have been wanting a great 55 that rides as good as it looks this orange dream is the perfect match. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet 210 include, AM/FM Stereo, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. 1955 Chevrolet Pickup

1955 Chevrolet Pickup

Engine: 235 Inline 6
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 339 ( since rebuilt )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is an early series 1 1955 Chevrolet Pick Up. This one has received an extremely detailed restoration and is probably better than new. It also benefits from an upgraded 12 volt system that also includes a 12 volt starter and electric windshield wiper replacing the old and unreliable vacuum operated wiper. Painted green with black running boards, wide white walls, driver’s side side mounted spare and an Oak bed paired with a beautiful Parchment interior. The interior is just as easy on the yes as is the rest of the truck. The gauges were restored and look new, the two tone bench seat looks great as do all of the knobs and cranks. You'll also notice seat belts and a heat controller for those chilly Autumn drives. During the restoration, all of the rubber seals and window fuzzies were replaced including the often overlooked vent window seals. Helping protect the exterior are clear rubber covers for the tailgate's chains and a rubber mat to protect the beautiful Oak bed with stainless inserts. Open the hood and the detail continues. All new wiring and proper detail. You can tell that the restorer took their time and focused on detail and accuracy. The Thrift Master 235 Inline 6 purrs like a kitten and the 3 speed column shift is easy to operate. Both are original to the truck, have been rebuilt during the restoration and have covered 336 miles since the rebuild. The undercarriage will not disappoint as it is also as detailed as the rest of this impressive 3100. The Series One represent the early 1955s that share the previous body style found on earlier Chevy Pick Ups. Mid year 1955 (Series 2) received the updated front end among other changes. The Series 1 seem to be the most sought after model considering they are the end of a long run of a successful generation of truck. For more information on this top notch restoration, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.

1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup

1955 Chevrolet Cameo Pickup

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 723 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this one of a kind 1955 Chevrolet Cameo is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The luxury truck market has really caught fire the past decade. Many believe that this is something new but it was something that GM had tried many decades ago. The Cameo was really the first truck that put styling and comfort before the utility of the vehicle. This Cameo was built with that in mind and the finish product will hopefully not be seen with a load of hay in the back anytime soon. The truck was a ground up build with attention detail being top ion the list. It was a rust-free CA truck to begin with making this the perfect candidate. The first thing you notice about this beauty is the paint. “Phantom Black Pearl” as it is known as has a ton of flake in it giving the truck that sparkle look when the sun hits it. With all of the stainless steel polished to a bright luster this truck just screams 1950’s. The all new tinted glass is just another one of those attention to details that most would overlook. Under the hood is a Chevy small block with ported and polished heads give this 55 a lot more power than its original 265. The vintage finned valve covers give under the hood a great look while the stainless-steel fasteners keep with the whole attention to detail. The ride quality comes courtesy of a Heidt’s mustang II style frontend with power assisted rack and pinion steering. Open the door and the interior of the truck is the perfect complement to the exterior. The leather bench seat has been molded in such a way that it feels like you are sitting in your own bucket. Each side has its own little pocket if you will, keeping you nice and planted. If you have been wanting something different but something mainstream this 55 Cameo is perfect. The 3100 Big Widows are extremely popular but this one has the Cameo factor making it extremely different. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Cameo include; AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Leather Interior, Tilt Wheel, and Aluminum Wheels and Radial Tires.
