Now for sale in our Houston showroom is a completely restored Dodge Warlock 440 4WD. Originally a concept vehicle, the Dodge Warlock entered production in late 1976, reappearing in limited numbers in 1977 through 1979. One of only 500 Warlocks built in 1977, Its owner states that it is an original 1977 Dodge 440 Warlock, having been verified prior to the start of the restoration process by Skipp Gibbs, who “wrote the book about Warlocks”. Not only is it 1 of 500, it is likely rarer than that. This Warlock is also one of the (rumored to be) only 74 units of 440 Warlocks that were built; and it’s probably 1 of an even smaller number, since it is also an original 4WD Warlock (which were a minority of the 440 Warlocks built). Originally, the 4WD Warlocks used a fulltime-only setup; but the transfer case in this one was converted to allow the use of 2WD, and now has new Warn manual locking hubs up front.

During the restoration, it was completely disassembled, each body panel was media blasted, epoxy primed, painted, color sanded and buffed. All the metal in the truck is in excellent shape, with body and frame completely intact, and no fillers anywhere. Its oak bed and siderails are new and pristine. The interior was completely redone to its factory-original condition, and a new interior and exterior stripe package from Phoenix Graphics was installed to complete the look. There is also an AM/FM/CD player in the glovebox to provide an enhanced music experience. The front and rear glass were also replaced.

The original 1977 440 block was replaced with a high performance 1975 440 block, which now has a bigger cam (for a nice lopey idle and extra low-end torque), a Holley 4bbl carb, MSD 6AL, Accel SuperCoil, and Hooker headers round out the engine’s performance upgrades. The addition of black crinkle-finish Mopar Performance finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner housing round out the allure of the engine bay. A new 2 1/2" aluminized dual exhaust setup, with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers provides a nice bass rumble out back. Behind the big 440, there is a beefy A727 TorqueFlite auto, which sends the twist to all 4 corners when the transfer case is 4WD mode.

New 33x12.50x15 BF Goodrich All Terrain K02's were installed on new 8-spoke wheels, which have been powder coated to match its factory gold stripes. In addition, this Warlock is sporting all new brakes, new TerraFlex 9550 shocks, and a 3” suspension lift, to further enhance its off-road capability.

Additional options on this 1977 Dodge Warlock for sale include AM/FM/CD Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Synthetic Leather seating. 1970 Dodge Challenger

1970 Dodge Challenger

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,878 ( since rebuilt )

Through the years of fans and enthusiasts, certain automotive terminology tends to build its own appeal. For example, in most gearheads' minds the term "Plum Crazy" recalls one of Chrysler's most creative and confident eras. "R/T", short for Road/Track, invokes visions of muscle cars prowling small town streets. "Dana 60" or "Scat Pak" incites visions of late-night stoplight brawls and octane-fueled quarter-miles. And who could forget "Hemi", the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. If you are looking for first class Mopar muscle then look no further than this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack car sporting the iconic Plum Crazy purple paint on the exterior with black vinyl top. Being 1 of only 847 Challengers in 1970 to have the 440 Six Pack mated to a 4 speed manual adds even more excitement to owning this classic piece of American muscle. Given its resurgence in popularity, no doubt aided by the current LC-based version, the Challenger is considered by some to be the quintessential American muscle car: a status that naturally invokes an aggressive and exciting aesthetic. At the front of this Challenger, a 1970-exclusive grille hangs an unmistakable "Challenger R/T" badge between pristine headlights, amber parking lamps and a mirrored bumper. Behind that grille, a pinned, Hemi-branded hood props bold "D O D G E" lettering in front of clean glass that is framed in correct stainless and capped by correct vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile hangs correct R/T stripes amid fresh rocker trim, flush door handles, a correct mirror and ornate ""Challenger"" scripts. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed valence centers body-width taillights and more ""D O D G E"" lettering between a second ""Challenger R/T"" badge, a second mirrored bumper and correct, quad-outlet exhaust tips. Open this coupe's light hood and you'll find the legendary, 440 cubic inch Hemi that, while not original to the car, is a date-correct piece that has been professionally rebuilt and maintained to keep it’s nostaligic looks and performance. All of the 390 horses reside in a glossy Hemi Orange block. And exhaust is handled by correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds that feed an H-shaped crossover. Slide under this spotless E-Body and you'll find a solid chassis that's ready for the turntable. Satin Black paint highlights exceptionally clean floors that have been finished to better-than-new condition. Behind the Hemi, lives the original 4 speed manual transmission to the car that is tight and shifts like new. Helping transfer all of this excitement to the pavement are is the factory Dana rear end that houses a set of 3.54 gears. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye Wheels, which twist radial tires with raised white lettering around polished trim rings and silver center caps. Peak your head in the window of this car and you'll find a correct Black interior that's functional, straightforward and very comfortable. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. Below those seats, stain-free carpet floats Challenger-themed mats at the sides of a correct, wood-trimmed console and cool Pistol Grip Shifter. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. And behind the passengers, a nicely finished trunk centers a correct jack and space saver spare tire between a correct mat and new decklid decal. You can view this 1970 Dodge Challenger in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. The engine is a warranty replacement from many years ago and the car is equipped with a correct Dana 60 rear end, appropriate for a 6 pack car equipped with a 4 speed.
