Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is a unique 1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari wagon. This is not the family wagon that your dad bought in 1960! This baby has been customized from stem to stern. Covered in a rich Brandywine Metallic-over-Gray two-tone color scheme, this sleek restomod has a classic look with a modern touch. Inside, its custom tan interior sports synthetic leather seating (including a power driver's seat), with all new carpeting and headliner, a custom overhead console, custom door panels, and dual front and rear Vintage A/C systems. The custom-ride nature continues with its tilt column, topped by a billet aluminum steering wheel, AM/FM/CD radio with 4 speakers, and tinted glass all around. Its digital dash helps the driver monitor the critical functions of the Nickens Brothers-built Corvette LS1 and 4L60E auto trans, which only have about 25K miles since being transplanted into their new host. A custom ECU with PSI wiring harness provide modern serviceability and enable the use of all the new electronic goodies needed for the LS1/4L60E combo. The stout LS1 breathes in via a custom Spectre CAI, and exhausts via a custom dual exhaust setup that sounds great. A big Champion aluminum radiator with electric fan helps keep the powerplant running cool, and a finned transmission cooler helps do the same for the 4L60E. Its Air Ride suspension has plenty of RideTech parts, and the controls and gauges to monitor the pressures are housed in a custom console to the left of the driver's seat. Naturally, all these accoutrements will get the driver's juices flowing enough that the speedometer may be overlooked enough that a good set of brakes become crucial. Of course, that's been thought of too, with huge Corvette slotted/cross-drilled rotors up front, and slotted/cross-drilled Wilwood rotors out back - all of which are nabbed by the Corvette front calipers and Wilwoods at the rear, which serve to scrub off the excess velocity you may have inadvertently generated during spirited driving. Its extra-meaty ultra-low profile Falken performance radials (235/35-19 front, 275/35-20 rear) help keep plenty of rubber on the road whilst you're barreling down the interstate, and they are set off nicely by the Intro Retro billet wheels that they're wrapped around. Additional options on this custom 1960 Pontiac Catalina Safari station wagon for sale include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD Radio, Aluminum Wheels, Power Brakes, Power Driver's Seat, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Synthetic Leather Seating, and Tilt Wheel. 1956 Pontiac Star Chief

1956 Pontiac Star Chief

Engine: 317 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Hydromatic
Mileage: 1,601 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1956 Pontiac Star Chief for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Star Chief is an automobile model that was manufactured by Pontiac in between 1954 and 1966. It was Pontiac's top trim package on the Pontiac Chieftain, with later generations built on longer wheelbases, and serving as the foundation platform for the Pontiac Bonneville. The car was easily identified by its chrome star trim along its sides, a feature all Star Chiefs were equipped. For 1956 the design was lightly revised, with heavier looking bumpers and a vertical slash on the front door above the swage line. This beautiful Star Chief was a frame off restoration in 2010 by the third and current owner. Under the hood is the original 316 CI V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Both were gone through extensively when the car was restored. The odometer reads 1600 miles which are true to the car since the restoration. The white and coral exterior and interior match perfectly and make this car look exactly like it is supposed to. This car looks, runs and drives like a dream. The chrome and all the body lines on this car are gorgeous and make you feel like you are sitting in 1956 all over again. Options on this beautiful 1956 Pontiac Star Chief are: AC, AM/FM Radio with CD player, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and White Wall radial tires. 1964 Pontiac LeMans GTO Tribute

1964 Pontiac LeMans GTO Tribute

Engine: 389 V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,068 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic red 1964 Pontiac Tempest LeMans GTO Tribute. In 1964 the Pontiac GTO was introduced as trim level of the Tempest, and the Muscle car era took off. Eventually in 1966, the GTO earned its own model designation, and again a trim option from 1972 to 1974. The GTO made a late model comeback in 2004, but most agree that Pontiac dropped the ball on the design of the car, and it was gone again after the 2006 model year. Many muscle cars would come and go, but the GTO would always be considered one of the best and most desired. The 64’ GTO was smaller than later models, sporty, and very quick. The exterior of this 1964 GTO Tribute is coated in a bright red that stands out, loud and proud. Looking inside the classic muscle car you will find black vinyl interior with a the heavily desired center console. Under the hood is a 389 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 3-spd automatic transmission with a B&M shifter. One unique feature of this '64 LeMans GTO Tribute is the fact that it has a direct drive timing gear which gives the impression that maybe this Pontiac isn't naturally aspirated! The odometer reads 67,068, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1964 Pontiac Tempest LeMans GTO Tribute include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. A red on black 1964 GTO Tribute is a welcomed addition to any show or cruise, the one that started it all always has a seat at the table. 1964 Pontiac GTO

1964 Pontiac GTO

Engine: 389 CID
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 125,393 ( actual )

This very original GTO was purchased brand new back 1964 from a dealership in Atlanta, Georgia and has been kept in the same family ever since! This numbers matching first generation GTO is a true survivor and is being offered up to a new home. Sitting under the hood is the 389 cubic inch V8 that is paired up to the original 2-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission are very strong even after all these years and have plenty of road trips our weekend outings left in them. The body on the car is straight and clean with only one repaint in the early 90’s where it was painted using the same color it came from the factory with. As you slide into the original interior and get comfortable in the bucket seats, it is as if you stepped back into 1964. The white vinyl interior contrasts nicely against the blue paint and the aluminum spun inserts top it all off. A couple pumps on the gas pedal and the turn of a key brings the 389 to life! Drop it down into drive and you are off and cruising. The suspension soaks up the bumps in the road yet is still tight and very controlled. The power steering and power brakes makes controlling this big car a breeze. This is 1964 GTO is what started the muscle car era and is now an icon in the American automotive scene. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1964 Pontiac GTO in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1964 Pontiac GTO 824

1964 Pontiac GTO 824

Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo 400
Mileage: 15,000 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1964 Pontiac GTO. When I was young we used to say that the GTO stood for gas, tires and oil for the three things this car would burn though in a hurry if you had a heavy foot. This GTO for sale is covered in medium blue and looks like it was laid down yesterday. With straight body lines that are crisp and clean and a fresh coat of paint this car has an almost new look. Open the door and slide into the vinyl bucket seat and you are instantly transported back into the seventies. With the large steering wheel and horseshoe shifter in the center console this car screams classic muscle. But if you want to really hear a scream, open the hood and cover your ears. The scream you hear will be your on! Some will scream with joy that the engine compartment contains a Chevy big block that measures 454 cubic inches, other will scream that it isn’t a Pontiac 389. Either way you have to agree that the muscle under the hood is sufficient to move this Pontiac GTO at a rapid pace and enough torque to bend the hinges on the driver’s seat. A holley ® four barrel carburetor feeds the fuel and a set of headers help to wish away the exhaust. Backing this rambunctious Rat is the bullet proof (please don’t attempt to disprove this theory) turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission that handles the gears and shifts (pun intended) the power to the rear axle that houses a set of 3.73 gears. This classic muscle car for sale is sure to make you smile from the moment you see it until you slowly shut the garage door and turn off the light after your last drive. Options for this 1964 GTO for sale include AM/FM radio, Power steering, Power brakes, Hub caps, Seat belts, Hub caps, Radial Tires and Alloy wheels. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees.
