Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this jaw dropping 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS. The Nova was known for being the baby brother of the Camaro and Chevelle’s but that never stopped them from being just as powerful. This beautiful Nova has been very well cared for by its current owner of over 23 years with plenty of documentation to prove it.

This beautiful machine runs off a strong 383 CID V8 which features Wiseco pistons, an Eagle Steel crank, Manley Billit rods, comp cams 242/248 at 50,000 with 110-degree lobe separation, Sportsman II Heads and much more. This car is a monster and needs to go back on the road. The engine is paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission and ran through using the B&M ratchet shifter. With tubed upper and lower control arms, upgraded suspension, custom traction bars, this car is ready for either the track or the street just take you pick. The car is even kitted with Nitrous if you ever feel the need for more power. Some additional documented upgrades include: Electric high-power master kit, radiator, fuel pump, water pump, drive shaft safety loop, hydra boost brakes, ring and pinion kit, aluminum radiator and hooker headers to give it the added rumble. This car also features dual 3” exhaust making this car roar through the powerband as it tears up the street. Outback is a Ford 9” rear end with 3.73 gears making this car an even better cruiser. The car can run on pump gas or high octane, take you pick.

After 23 years of ownership and a ton of blood sweat and tears you would not be able to build this monster for less. We even have the receipts to prove the car is worth every bit and more. This ’67 Nova SS is a true 118 Vin coded car and is in great condition. Walking around the car, you simply can’t help but to admire the quality of work put into it. With freshly re-chromed bumpers, trim, and badging this car shows very well. The car is painted in a very nice teal blue color. The paint is PPG-DBC 4803WA146A if you ever have a minor nick or something you would like to touch up on the car. The car is sitting on American Racings wheels paired to a set of Sumitomo 245/55/17 in the rear with 245/45/17 in the front. The car also features 4-wheel disk brakes with the front being drilled and slotted to keep cool.

Moving to the inside of the car you will find a fully functional roll cage has been installed. This is a bonus for those looking to take it to the track. For those looking for a daily driver you can feel confident in it’s safety as we all know how crazy the roads can get. The seats have received all new foam and reupholstered in a clean custom black vinyl interior with a color matching stripe running down the center. Sitting in the driver seat you have a nice clean view of the Phantom Gauge cluster allowing you to monitor the car’s performance. You can get strapped into this car with the Simpson Racing seat belts. Do not forget that this is a heavily documented car with much more not mentioned above. This car is worth seeing in person and provides plenty of history to go to its new owner.

Other 1964 - 1970 Chevrolet Nova

1969 Chevrolet Nova

1969 Chevrolet Nova

Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom, Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is pleased to present this custom-built 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car. Bathed in the well-known performance shade of Hugger Orange, this Nova is turn-key ready for the track. This car was built by Pyle Brothers in Baytown, TX, and the professional build quality is evident. From the full tubular chassis and integrated roll cage, one can easily spot a purpose-built drag car. Sporting a huge snorkel hood scoop, Strange Engineering high-torque axles, and Strange Engineering braking (multipiece slotted and drilled rotors front and rear, Strange multi-piston calipers front and rear), multi-piece Weld Drag wheels at all four corners, M/T skinnies up front, M/T 33x15.0x15 slicks out back, and wheelie bars, this car says "race-only baby!", even from a distance. Under the hood is a massive 490 CID big block Chevy V8 (built by Houston Engine and Balancing), sporting Dart heads and valve covers, an Edelbrock high-rise aluminum manifold, Holley race carb, and a gigantic deep sump oil pan. Uncapped race headers help route the spent combustion mix, which they do very effectively, and with tremendous sound and fury. Twin electric fans keep the radiator temp in check, and the electric water pump keeps the coolant flowing with no loss of power or cooling efficiency. A competition-prepped GM Powerglide 2-speed automatic handles the single gear change from tree to the finish line, and it'll take everything that 490 CID V8 can dish out, plus more. A full competition-approved fuel cell and the trunk-mounted Optima battery are easy to get to by removing the Dzus-fastened trunk, and more Dzus fasteners allow easy access to key driveline components normally covered by the floor pan. Out back, a Ford 9-inch rear end serves as part of a fully adjustable multi-link rear suspension with Drag Coil-over shocks and wheelie bar serve to keep the rear end planted and the front end out of the sky at launch. Inside, the driver has all controls within easy reach, and fingertip controls make it easy, with the Painless wiring setup and control panel being reachable even when the driver is fully belted into the Kirkey racing bucket with the massive Simpson race harness. This back-halved car is ready to hit the strip with no excuses, and is ready for the pit crew between passes, with its abundant Dzus fasteners providing easy on/off of hood and trunk. The chassis and cage are 2016 NHRA certified, with certification number A710909, for 8.50 and slower ET vehicles. A full set of gauges help the driver keep track of critical functions, and a removable steering wheel helps for easier ingress/egress before and after your hot passes. For night racing at the track, you'll like the fact that the headlights, taillights, and brake lights all work. If you're looking for a turn-key 9 second drag car, this is the one you want. This is a race only vehicle and does not come with a title. If you like low E.T.'s this is a great starting point. 1967 Chevrolet Nova

1967 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 327 ci V8
Transmission: 2 Speed Auto
Mileage: 42,995 ( undocumented )

The second generation Chevy II Nova was produced by GM for the 1966-1967 model years and included 2 -door, 4-door and 4-door station wagon versions. Of the 106,500 total vehicles built in 1967, only 12,900 were wagons. The base power plant was an inline 6-cylinder, 194 cubic inch motor mated to a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission with column mounted shifter. The top of the line for these models was the venerable 327 cubic inch V8 that turned the Nova into a proper muscle car! This tastefully customized 1967 Chevy II Nova Station Wagon is powered by a rebuilt 327 Chevrolet V8 with a mild cam added. This mill looks and sounds serious and features chrome detailing, new aluminum radiator, new headers and stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust system. On the exterior, the body was stripped to bare metal and bathed in 1967 Chevy Marina Blue. All the glass was replaced including new rubber, chrome trim, bumpers and molding pieces sourced via the OPG Company. Additional features include Four-Wheel CCCP Disc Brakes, power steering, AM/FM/CD Stereo and custom aluminum 17-inch wheels. The interior has been completely redone and features new seats, carpet, door panels and even the headliner! Enjoy this ride on your way to a show or football tailgate! 1970 Chevrolet Nova

1970 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 450 small block
Transmission: TH-350
Mileage: 9,268 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is way meaner than one may think. Power for this bad machine comes from 450 cubic inch small block using an aftermarket "Rocket" block. This special block allows for a bit more displacement without sacrificing the blocks integrity. The go fast goodies inside include a full solid roller valve train, Manley connecting rods, 10.5:1 JE Pistons, Quick Fuel carburetor and AFR aluminum high flow cylinder heads to name a few. Power is estimated in the 600 horsepower range. Firing up this amazing power plant will impress any gear head. Many would think that an engine with such power and menacing sound would be a difficult one to drive. Believe it or not, this one is very well mannered. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch and is equipped with 3.00:1 gear set for easy highway use. Since the drivetrain build, the car has covered a modest 1,000 miles and is ready for more use and enjoyment. Slowing down such a machine means that drums won't do the job anymore. In place is a new pair of Wilwood front disc brakes while drums remain out back, but still doing their job. Weld Racing wheels look right at home on this Nova as does the Green on Green paint scheme. Adding a little flair to the exterior in addition to the wheels is a set mild stripes that barley show themselves. You may even call them ghost stripes. Inside is stock Nova with exception of the aftermarket gauges. The original bench seat is quite comfy and looks really good. Someone could very easily swap them out for a pair of buckets if they so desired. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Nova, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. 1966 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 350 Turbo
Mileage: 55,557 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer one of the coolest muscle cars – The 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. One of the toughest little overachievers ever to harass traditional midsize muscle cars was the 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. Never a style leader, this compact car was for the serious enthusiast who wanted to go fast on a budget and still have a lightweight cruiser. These Nova's are the guerrilla fighters of the muscle jungle. A low profile and a high power-to-weight ratio is the secret. This Super Sport edition for sale has extra chrome, blackout trim details, and small SS emblems. However, the Nova SS by no means shouts "hot car." Hooked to an automatic turbo 350 and a 350 Chevy motor, this little deuce coupe has no problem catching the big-cube glamour boys sleeping at the lights. The Chevy Nova for sale still retains a stout power plant. Options on the lean, mean SS Nova include AM/FM/Cassette/CD Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Radial Tires. 1967 Chevrolet Nova II

1967 Chevrolet Nova II

Engine: V8 Small Block 350
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 117 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Ft. Lauderdale is proud to present this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet II. The Chevy II was one of the fastest new-car development programs in GM history. Just 18 months after the designers got the green light, the first production Chevy II rolled off the Willow Run, Michigan, assembly line in August of 1961. The 1962 Chevy II was never intended to be revolutionary in concept or execution, its mission was to give Chevrolet buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car. There was a lot of debate within the Chevrolet organization over just what to call this car, and the decision to go with "Chevy II" was a late one. Among the finalists was Nova, which lost out because it didn't start with a "C,". Ultimately the Nova badge would replace Chevy II, but that wouldn't happen until 1969. This amazing 1967 Chevy II is definitely a step up from the rest. With a stunning pearlescent white paint job with a flat black stripe on the hood. With a mint black vinyl interior, she's bound to turn heads wherever it goes. Sitting on a church boys racing front suspension. Under the hood sits a 350 small block V8 with Roller Rocker Arms, Shorty headers, a Holley 670 Carb, and a Holley Aluminum Manifold. It also sports a MSD 6AL ignition, a Mallory Distributor, MSD wires, Tall Aluminum Valve Covers, a Flexalite Radiator, and a 3000 CFM Fan. The motor is mated to a TCI 350 Transmission with a BTM Pro Rachet Shifter, Global West Frame Connectors, 10 Bolt Rear, 373 Posi, and new Monroe Air Shocks. Rocking duel exhausts with H Pipe and FlowMaster Mufflers, this 1967 Chevy II sounds incredible! Looking at the immaculate dash, you will notice the blue Dakota Digital gauges giving this classic a modern feel. Equipped with a Kenwood stereo, Pandora Radio ready with USB ports and Aux cable capability. With push button ignition, and a custom short center console, and custom headrests, this car is truly one of a kind. This 1967 Chevy II will make the perfect daily driver or trophy winner for drivers both old and young. To see an HD video of this 1967 Chevrolet II visit

1967 Chevrolet Nova

Engine: 496 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 81,640 ( since rebuilt )

Jump in, lean back, buckel yourself in, and take a deep breath as Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa presents this “Pro Street” 1967 Chevrolet Nova. This is a high-performance muscle car at its finest. Look at the aggressive stance this “Bad to the Bone” monster presents. With “skinnies” up front and monstrous tires in the back, it’s not hard to tell this Nova means business. If that’s not enough, peek into the outer-space-deep black paint and you will quickly realize that you’re not dreaming as you see your reflection in the mirror-like finish. Look at the chrome air cleaners peeking through the cowl hood. If you still think this car is all show, raise the hood; nothing says “GO” more than a big block V8 Chevy. This isn’t a stock big block. What you are looking at is a 496 with Edlebrock aluminum heads. This motor doesn’t just say “GO,” it says “I Go Blistering Fast,” and that is before you turn the key. Hop inside and you will find deluxe, black bucket vinyl interior in excellent condition. One turn of the key and this “BEAST” awakens. Your heart will start to pump, adrenaline start to race, and you may even feel butterflies in your stomach; however, you will feel more alive than you ever have. The best part of this “Pro Street” build is the back seat was retained, so you can take the entire family for a cruise. You have all the necessary gauges in sight to monitor the fuel, water temperature, volts, oil pressure, and of course, a monster tach to view your RPM’s. Options include Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, Fuel Cell, and Kill Switch. You can take this ‘67 Nova coupe to the track or cruise it around town, either way you will be the person everyone remembers in that “Nasty black 1967 Pro Street Nova”. The only thing quicker than this Nova is how fast it will sell. Don’t get left in the dust. Wake up tomorrow saying, “I’m the proud owner of this Monster,” rather than, “I should have called when I saw it.” This 1967 Chevrolet Nova is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at If you would like to see it in person, come to our Tampa Showroom, located at 351 30th Street NE, Ruskin, FL 33570. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don’t miss out on this classic ’57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
