Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this mean 1987 Buick Regal Grand National "GNX Tribute". The Regal Turbo was a popular street beast of the late 80’s, with only around 7900 produced and was the intro to the GNX series that came about with its limited production of 547 built. This Regal is a full-on tribute to the GNX, and mechanically serves it justice. Powering this machine is a custom-built 3.8L V6, built by Weber Power Products, paired to a pro-built 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a 2800RPM Stall, built by Ted's Transmissions. The engine features a set of Champion Racing heads with 1.65-inch intake and exhaust (custom ported and assembled by Otto's Performance), Diamond Pistons, Forged Rods, Coated cam, rod, and main bearings, align honed block, reciprocating assembly balanced, all ARP fasteners, and it also sports Methanol Injection.

Looking under the hood, you will find that the turbo features a larger heat shield to accommodate the much larger than stock turbo and exhaust, along with an adjustable boost popoff control. Properly tuned at 21 PSI, this mill put down 501RWHP and 480.7TQ at the wheels (Dyno sheets from PowerFab Autosports available). This Regal took the tribute to the next level by even having the upgraded GNX rear end, which was put only on GNXs, due to the high HP and TQ. This special ordered feature makes this Regal hard to separate it from a true GNX. Also included are new tubular upper front control arms, custom lower control arms, all new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, and pitman arm. When you fire this turbo beast up, initially all you hear is that muffled Buick Turbo V6, with maybe just a little lope from its custom-ground cam; but otherwise, if you had your eyes closed, you wouldn't know what a nasty competitor this is. Depress the hidden switch for the electric exhaust cutouts, and things get interesting, with the addition of the crackle and pop that these mega-boosted Buick Turbos were famous for. When you're ready, lift up the B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter, pull back to drive, and ratchet back to first...get staged for your burnout, and watch those fat Hoosier Drag radials go up in smoke (and your friends can watch the car disappear in the cloud, too)! You'll know this isn't a regular Turbo Buick when you light it up.

Outside, the gloss Lamp Black finish was applied to the exterior by Stroble&Twigg Auto Restoration, after removing all paint on exterior sheet metal to the bare metal, using a 2-stage Epoxy finish in the proper 19U GM paint code. Weather stripping and seals were all replaced at the time as well; so, this car is almost like new!

The interior was also treated to the "replace everything to original" strategy, and is in very good condition, with a new headliner, new seats up front, new rear seat upholstery, new door panels, and new console. The gauge cluster is complete with a GNX repro Stewart-Warner GNX cluster, and the speedo has been calibrated for the new gauge cluster installation. Additional features include Air Conditioning, Antilock Power Brakes, Cruise Control, AM/FM/CD Radio, Performance Tires, Power Locks, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, and Seat Belts. 1963 Buick Riviera

Engine: 401 V8
Transmission: 2 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 77,565 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa Is proud to offer this sharp 1963 Buick Riviera. This car still has the numbers matching engine and transmission with only 78k miles! The Buick Riviera is a personal luxury car produced by Buick from 1963 to 1999. GM's first entry into that prestige niche, the Riviera was highly praised by automotive journalists upon its high-profile debut. While early models stayed close to the original form, eight subsequent generations varied substantially over the Riviera's thirty-year lifespan. In all, 1,127,261 were produced. This Buick was repainted about 2 years ago but kept the factory color. The Burgundy paint, chrome accent pieces, and glass is all still in great condition and looks as it has been redone. The style of this era’s body style is top notch and has tons of potential to become whatever you can dream up or even keep it as it sits and enjoy the history. When you hop into this Buick you instantly notice the like new brown leather interior. The styling of the dash and shifter area brings out the luxury feel while cruising down the street in this sharp car. It shared the standard Buick V8 engines, with a displacement of either 401 cu in (6.57 L) or 425 cu in (6.96 l), and the unique continuously variable design twin turbine automatic transmission. Power brakes were standard, using Buick's massive "Al-Fin" (aluminum finned) drums of 12 in (300 mm) diameter. Power steering was standard equipment, with an overall steering ratio of 20.5:1, giving 3.5 turns lock-to-lock. The production Riviera was introduced on October 4, 1962, as a 1963 model, Its distinctive bodyshell was unique to the marque, unusual for a GM product. It rode a cruciform frame similar to the standard Buick frame, but shorter and narrower, with a 2.0 in narrower track. Its wheelbase of 117 in and overall length of 208 in were 6.0 inches and 7.7 in shorter, respectively, than a Buick LeSabre, but slightly longer than a contemporary Thunderbird. At 3,998 lb, it was about 390 pounds lighter than either. This First Generation Riviera has been well maintained and is ready to be taken out and shown off to the world. 1960 Buick LeSabre

1960 Buick LeSabre

Engine: 364 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 39,361 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to be able to offer this sleek 1960 Buick LeSabre. This beautiful machine has received a nice restoration and is ready to hit route 66 for a cross country cruise. The 1960 LeSabre received a major facelift, the new body design sharing only the roof and trunk lid with the 1959 model. The new Buick now sported a concave grille and horizontal headlights centered by Buick's then-new "Tri-Shield" logo, which is still in use today. Reintroduced to Electras and other Buicks for 1960 were the chrome "VentiPort" portholes first introduced in 1940 and last seen in 1957. LeSabre and Invicta models had three portholes while Electras and Electra 225s were "four-holers". Inside, a revised instrument panel featured a "Mirromatic" speedometer for which the lens could be adjusted to better visibility to suit the driver. A new two-spoke steering wheel with horn bars was introduced, replacing the time-honored horn ring then still common to most automobiles. The 250- and 300-horsepower 364-cubic-inch V8s were continued from 1959, but a new no-cost option was a 235-horsepower lower-compression two-barrel version of the 364 with a lower compression ratio to permit use of regular-grade gasoline instead of the premium fuel required with all other Buick engines. This Buick two door hard top is in fantastic shape inside and out. The crazy stylish Chalet Blue interior and exterior is completely redone to feel fresh and in like new condition. The paint shines in the sun with chrome all over the body makes this car very sharp and turns heads anywhere that it goes. The real fun is with the 3 on the tree manual transmission. This car starts right up and runs like a dream. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1960 Buick LeSabre two door hardtop, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1968 Buick Skylark

1968 Buick Skylark

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 200 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is a nostalgic 1968 Buick Skylark Custom convertible. For 1968, GM restyled their A-body platform with a fresh look. Built from the factory dressed to impress, and equipped with plenty of nice touches, this Buick is a fine representation of late 60's "luxury with performance". Powering this '68 Buick GS for sale is a freshly-rebuilt 350 CID V8 engine, with only about 200 miles on it. This 350 comes with a mild performance cam, a T/A Performance Products Stage 1 intake manifold, 4BBL Edelbrock carb, long tube headers, and T/A Performance aluminum valve covers. Buick's factory rating for their 350 CID V8 was listed 280 horsepower; so, no doubt this one has upped the ante. To keep the big V8 in the cool zone, a big Champion Cooling Products aluminum radiator (with a built-in trans cooler) has been installed. Fire up the big V8, and it produces a healthy rumble through its Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust. One can immediately tell that this Buick fits the definition of "The Gentleman's Muscle Car." Sticking out at shows, this Buick Skylark Custom convertible for sale is a solid example befitting Buick's catch phrase "The Distinctive Personal Car for Americana on the GO." Backing the healthy 350 is a 200R4 4-speed automatic transmission, and a set of Equus gauges and tach help the driver keep tabs on the drivetrain. Add in power steering and power brakes and you have yourself one comfortable ride. The exterior is a driver quality shade of Metallic Blue. Paired with a black convertible top, it's easy to see that this car was born during the muscle car era! The 17" chromed aluminum Ridler 5 spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45-ZR17 Toyo Extensa HP radial at all 4 corners. Make your way into the cockpit, and you'll feel like you've been taken back in time. White vinyl adorns the front and rear bench seats, with the rest of the interior done in black, providing a nice contrast. With enough room for you and five of your friends, this Buick is begging to be your new party barge! Options on this 1968 Buick Skylark Custom convertible include: Aluminum Wheels, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Vinyl Seating. Whether you're looking for a weekend cruiser, you're a Buick aficionado, or simply want another toy for your collection, this Buick is for you.
