1979 Chevrolet C10

Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 30,154 ( actual )

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this tastefully modified 1979 Chevrolet C10 with the same drive train that came stock almost 40 years ago! Powering this old stepside pickup truck is a 454 cubic inch V8 that has been bored .030 over and has just over 2,000 miles on the fresh rebuild. During this rebuild it received forged pistons, an RV cam, and capped off with a Holley 750 to feed this big engine. The TH400 transmission is able to transfer this power with ease to the strong 12-bolt rear end equipped with 3.73:1 gears for great off the line torque while not jeopardizing your cruising ability. This truck is not just a power house though, it has been fitted with power disc brakes on all four corners to bring it to a stop quickly and the front suspension has been upgraded to a DJM front suspension kit for a premium ride and better handling. The aftermarket front suspension paired with the power steering makes for a fun ride and out cornering most other trucks on the road! The interior has also been tastefully modified with a reupholstered seat, new dash pad, and billet inserts on the dash and gauge cluster that match the door panels nicely. The red PPG paint fits this truck well and the 1963 Plymouth taillights and louvers added to the rear set this truck apart from the rest! After many years of being loved and enjoyed by the same owner, this 1979 C-10 is ready to be enjoyed by someone new. If you are looking for a fun sporty pickup truck this one is an excellent choice and would be a great platform if you would like to customize it and make it your own. 1982 Chevrolet C10

1982 Chevrolet C10

Engine: 350 CID V8 SBC
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Mileage: 4,277 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is delighted to present this 1982 Chevrolet C-10 for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This is a documented Arizona truck that the owner purchased back in 2004 and had totally redone to its current condition today, which is arguably better than when it was originally sold! The truck was sand-blasted and professionally repainted in its dark silver color with black on the hood scoop. It has all new chrome and LED lights have been installed along with new mirrors and windows. The powertrain on this truck has been vastly improved; this Chevy has a 350 CID Crate Motor tied to a 5-speed Tremek manual transmission that has recently been fitted with a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. Inside the regular cab, it is clear that no expense has been spared: new panels were installed, the seats have been re-wrapped, a new radio and speakers were fitted and all windows have been tinted. The center console with cupholders and storage space makes this truck feel a lot newer than it is and the fully functioning AC will keep you cool while you cruise around town in this hot ride. This is the best example of an early 80’s C-10 I have ever set my eyes on and it is an absolute joy to drive. The mounted tach on the hood keeps you firmly in ‘race mode’ whether you’re hauling wood for your neighbor or hitting the country roads for a Sunday blast. Options on this classic pickup include: Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels and Red-Striped Radial Tires. The bed is lined with a black tonneau cover that looks right at home with this excellent build. You will have a lot of fun in this truck and it is built to last: there are only 10,000 miles on the new motor and that leaves plenty of life for its new owner to enjoy. 1972 Chevrolet C10

1972 Chevrolet C10

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 94,450 ( undocumented )

The Chevrolet C-10 was the quintessential work horse of its day and was capable of taking on any job that was thrown at it and were used and abused over the many years. This makes survivors like this 1972 well sought after and desired by many who remember the good times of cruising around in their old Chevy pickup. This C-10 has been well kept over the years and was even repainted just a few years back to bring new life into this old classic. The small block Chevy 350 CID V8 has plenty of power left in it and breathes easy with a free flowing exhaust system. The turbo-350 automatic transmission also is in great shape providing smooth shifts throughout all speeds. This truck also has some creature comforts equipped including power brakes and power steering making those longer drives bearable and less strenuous. Climb inside and check out the plastic covered bench that has kept the interior in good shape and clean. The wood grained steering wheel looks nice against the stock dash and gauge cluster that all works well. As you cruise around in this old pickup though it is sometimes easy to forget that you are driving a truck that is 46 years old, the steering is responsive, the power brakes are strong, and the independent front suspension offers a smooth ride. This classic Chevrolet would be an excellent summer cruiser that could still be used as fair weather pickup truck and has a spray in bed liner to protect it from whatever you throw in it. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. 1974 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne

1974 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 57,370 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Sky Blue over White 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne C10. The paint has been resprayed and the carpets have been replaced, everything else on the truck is believed to be original to the truck from the day it rolled off the assembly line. The Sky Blue and White exterior paint was professionally applied, we do not know exactly when, but it does look fantastic, and shines beautifully. The blue cloth bench seat has little to no wear, it has been very well kept over the years. The wood grain trim on the door panels and dash also looks almost new and accents the theme very well. A white vinyl bed cover has been installed and provides a great finishing touch to the sky blue and white color combination. This Cheyenne 10 features a small tool box at the bottom of the truck bed where you keep your valuables under lock and key. The odometer reads 57,370, which is believed to be the original mileage on the truck. Options for this 1974 Chevrolet C10 include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Air Conditioning (inoperable), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, Crager Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Chevrolet's third generation C/K Series ran from 1973 to 1987 and sported an all new design. Officially known as the "Rounded-Line" generation, the third generation looked like nothing else on the road at the time of its debut. The rounded lines included rounded cab roof, sloped rounded doors, rounded windshield corners, rounded front fenders, and rounded bed corners which made possible the rounded taillights. The rounded design was incorporated in an effort to improve aerodynamics and to improve fuel efficiency. Also known as the "Square Body" design, oddly enough, although not an official nickname since it did not originate from General Motors. This 74’ C10 would make for a great shop truck for a local business, or a nice cruiser for a collector who has always wanted a 3rd generation Chevrolet pickup. 1979 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Stepside

1979 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Stepside

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 400 Turbo
Mileage: 3,627 ( undocumented )

This 1979 Chevrolet C10 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C series line of trucks was extremely successful for the GM company. Though they had multiple revisions throughout its 40-year run the full-size series was one of the longest running lines in auto history. The 80’s seen a huge increase in the amount of people customizing these trucks. The mentality that a truck was just simply used for work was a thing of the past. This example has that old school custom look with the black paint showing extremely well. The Graphics on the side help to break up the paint while enhancing the step-side bed. The louvers on the hood are something that you don’t see much of anymore with many considering a lost art form. The mag wheels are in extremely clean condition with the fronts being 225/70/15’s and the rears having a much wider 295/50/15 giving the truck that aggressive look. Under the hood is a very healthy 350 small block that has plenty of power to get this American Classic down the road. The Edelbrock intake allows for more power through the mid and higher RPM range. The 12-bolt Posi Rear end has a set of 3.73 gears giving the perfect mix of down low power and high-end speed allowing for some highway cruising. The interior of the cab is clean and rather comfortable with the springs giving just the right amount of support. The headliner is custom with it having some custom molds and then covered with the matching soft cloth material. If you have been wanting a unique vehicle that is a blast to drive this great driving truck is exactly what you need. Options on this 1979 Chevy C10 include; AM/FM/Cassette, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Mag Wheels and Radial Tires.
