Engine: Stroked 340 CID V8 4BBLTransmission: 727 AutomaticMileage: 6,848 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this gorgeous 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger for sale in our Detroit Showroom. The Dodge Dart Swinger, introduced in 1969, was Dodge’s new compact muscle car. The largest engine option available for these cars was the 340CID V8; however, this Dart Swinger has been fitted with a much more powerful 416CID stroker. This engine is mean! The aggressive and powerful 416CID V8 is backed by a bulletproof 3-speed 727 automatic transmission and a 3.91 rear differential. The combination of all this performance and the lightweight A-body frame makes for a fast and fun muscle car which makes more than 300hp at the wheels! This car comes in a radiant Vitamin C orange with accommodating black accents including the hood and vinyl top. This car was fully restored from top to bottom, inside and out, and even appeared in Mopar Muscle Magazine. The vinyl interior on this car has been freshly redone, so no need to worry about that infamous cracked vinyl. When you place yourself in this orange rocket and look at the dashboard, you see the gorgeously done gauge cluster that makes you want to start it up and take it for a joy ride. Between the exhaust and the exterior paint, everyone will know who it is when you’re driving this beast. Other options on this 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger for sale include: AM/FM radio, vinyl interior, radial tires, and posi-traction. For Sale in our Louisville showroom is this 1973 Dodge Challenger. Introduced in fall 1969 for the 1970 model year, the Challenger was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. Positioned to compete against the Mercury Cougar and Pontiac Firebird in the upper end of the pony car market segment, it was a rather late response to the Ford Mustang, which debuted in April 1964. Even so, Chrysler intended the new Challenger as the most potent pony car ever, and, like the less expensive Barracuda, it was available in a staggering number of trim and option levels, and with virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory. This beautifully restored car is a real head turner. With classic car looks and the strong Mopar heritage, this 1973 Challenger for sale has everything you need to get into the classic car hobby and buy right. Under the hood is the durable and peppy 318cid V8 that seemed to find its way into just about anything Chrysler. This mighty small block motor was known to be a high revving and full of torque. It was married up with also durable and mighty 904 3 speed automatic transmission. This car came with power steering and power brakes. The styling is what makes this car so great. The dark red exterior with black accents give it that great Mopar vibe. The interior is all new black leather and looks awesome against the dark red exterior. The odometer states 73,xxx miles, but with the build on this car being completed only a year and a half ago, this car only has around 1000 miles since. Options for this 1973 Dodge Challenger include: AM/FM Stereo w/CD Player, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Alloy Rims w/ Radial Tires. This 1973 Dodge Challenger is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. Through the years of fans and enthusiasts, certain automotive terminology tends to build its own appeal. For example, in most gearheads' minds the term "Plum Crazy" recalls one of Chrysler's most creative and confident eras. "R/T", short for Road/Track, invokes visions of muscle cars prowling small town streets. "Dana 60" or "Scat Pak" incites visions of late-night stoplight brawls and octane-fueled quarter-miles. And who could forget "Hemi", the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. If you are looking for first class Mopar muscle then look no further than this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack car sporting the iconic Plum Crazy purple paint on the exterior with black vinyl top. Being 1 of only 847 Challengers in 1970 to have the 440 Six Pack mated to a 4 speed manual adds even more excitement to owning this classic piece of American muscle. Given its resurgence in popularity, no doubt aided by the current LC-based version, the Challenger is considered by some to be the quintessential American muscle car: a status that naturally invokes an aggressive and exciting aesthetic. At the front of this Challenger, a 1970-exclusive grille hangs an unmistakable "Challenger R/T" badge between pristine headlights, amber parking lamps and a mirrored bumper. Behind that grille, a pinned, Hemi-branded hood props bold "D O D G E" lettering in front of clean glass that is framed in correct stainless and capped by correct vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile hangs correct R/T stripes amid fresh rocker trim, flush door handles, a correct mirror and ornate ""Challenger"" scripts. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed valence centers body-width taillights and more ""D O D G E"" lettering between a second ""Challenger R/T"" badge, a second mirrored bumper and correct, quad-outlet exhaust tips. Open this coupe's light hood and you'll find the legendary, 440 cubic inch Hemi that, while not original to the car, is a date-correct piece that has been professionally rebuilt and maintained to keep it’s nostaligic looks and performance. All of the 390 horses reside in a glossy Hemi Orange block. And exhaust is handled by correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds that feed an H-shaped crossover. Slide under this spotless E-Body and you'll find a solid chassis that's ready for the turntable. Satin Black paint highlights exceptionally clean floors that have been finished to better-than-new condition. Behind the Hemi, lives the original 4 speed manual transmission to the car that is tight and shifts like new. Helping transfer all of this excitement to the pavement are is the factory Dana rear end that houses a set of 3.54 gears. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye Wheels, which twist radial tires with raised white lettering around polished trim rings and silver center caps. Peak your head in the window of this car and you'll find a correct Black interior that's functional, straightforward and very comfortable. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. Below those seats, stain-free carpet floats Challenger-themed mats at the sides of a correct, wood-trimmed console and cool Pistol Grip Shifter. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. And behind the passengers, a nicely finished trunk centers a correct jack and space saver spare tire between a correct mat and new decklid decal. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this mean machine 1973 Dodge Charger. Mopar fans, here is one Charger to see. 1971 through 1974 were the 3rd generation of these classic Mopars. They entered the marketplace as the mid-sized B-body car between the pony cars and the personal luxury. This one had the same owner the past 41 years before the current owner bought it. It is powered by a Gary Grimes built 383 CID V8 engine with the 727-torque flight transmission. These were nearing the end of the muscle car era in the 70’s and everything began to change and disappear with muscle. This bright orange ’73 with an orange and black interior is equipped with AC, power steering and power brakes, radial tires and rally wheels. Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1977 Dodge Aspen. 1977 was the second year of the Aspen with little changes. A few options were available to include the R/T package adding a “Super Pak” option. This consisted of front and rear spoilers, wheel opening flares and louvred rear windows. A new stripe kit was also added as well. An R/T equipped with this package became a "Super R/T”. This Aspen is powered by a 340 CID V8 that has plenty of power for this little car. The engine is paired to a new 4-speed manual transmission and has also had a new carburetor installed by Tech Auto. This car is a good driver quality car with a lot of potential. The interior is in good condition and makes this a much more unique vehicle. This Dodge Aspen is a classic that is what I would qualify as a “sleeper car” with the light weight, rugged looks, and powerful engine, it’s sure to throw those little Mustangs and Camaros for a loop. Some additional features include: power steering, power brakes, A/C, seatbelts, and much more. For Sale in our Nashville Showroom we are excited to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger. This car is a Star, no really, it’s a been in a Hollywood movie, a popular crime show, and a tire commercial. This 1970 Dodge Challenger was driven by Jack Nicholson in the 2007 movie, The Bucket List. This is not your run of the mill 1970 Dodge Challenger as its not an original car but a resto-mod created by famed muscle-car builder Ted Moser, who also built them for the Fast and Furious movie series. It’s powered by a late model 5.7-liter Hemi V8 backed by an automatic transmission. The whole package is brought to a halt by a set of Weldman disc brakes. After The Bucket List movie, the car appeared in a few TV roles, including on NCIS with Mark Harmon, and the 2010 movie, The Runaways. So, now you know where the cars been, but the best is yet to come. With less than 3000 miles on this build, the car has a ton of life left and is ready for someone to driver her. The late model power plant affords you plenty of power and creature comforts such as air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. Add to this the safety of radial tires and seat belts and this car is like driving a late model with the style of a 1970s. If you’re ready to star in your own bucket list adventure or for more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/816/1970-Dodge-Challenger

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is a completely restored Dodge Warlock 440 4WD. Originally a concept vehicle, the Dodge Warlock entered production in late 1976, reappearing in limited numbers in 1977 through 1979. One of only 500 Warlocks built in 1977, Its owner states that it is an original 1977 Dodge 440 Warlock, having been verified prior to the start of the restoration process by Skipp Gibbs, who “wrote the book about Warlocks”. Not only is it 1 of 500, it is likely rarer than that. This Warlock is also one of the (rumored to be) only 74 units of 440 Warlocks that were built; and it’s probably 1 of an even smaller number, since it is also an original 4WD Warlock (which were a minority of the 440 Warlocks built). Originally, the 4WD Warlocks used a fulltime-only setup; but the transfer case in this one was converted to allow the use of 2WD, and now has new Warn manual locking hubs up front. During the restoration, it was completely disassembled, each body panel was media blasted, epoxy primed, painted, color sanded and buffed. All the metal in the truck is in excellent shape, with body and frame completely intact, and no fillers anywhere. Its oak bed and siderails are new and pristine. The interior was completely redone to its factory-original condition, and a new interior and exterior stripe package from Phoenix Graphics was installed to complete the look. There is also an AM/FM/CD player in the glovebox to provide an enhanced music experience. The front and rear glass were also replaced. The original 1977 440 block was replaced with a high performance 1975 440 block, which now has a bigger cam (for a nice lopey idle and extra low-end torque), a Holley 4bbl carb, MSD 6AL, Accel SuperCoil, and Hooker headers round out the engine’s performance upgrades. The addition of black crinkle-finish Mopar Performance finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner housing round out the allure of the engine bay. A new 2 1/2" aluminized dual exhaust setup, with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers provides a nice bass rumble out back. Behind the big 440, there is a beefy A727 TorqueFlite auto, which sends the twist to all 4 corners when the transfer case is 4WD mode. New 33x12.50x15 BF Goodrich All Terrain K02's were installed on new 8-spoke wheels, which have been powder coated to match its factory gold stripes. In addition, this Warlock is sporting all new brakes, new TerraFlex 9550 shocks, and a 3” suspension lift, to further enhance its off-road capability. Additional options on this 1977 Dodge Warlock for sale include AM/FM/CD Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Synthetic Leather seating. For more information on this 1977 Dodge Warlock, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at "Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com".
