This numbers matching 1967 Plymouth Fury III is for sale in our Houston Showroom. The car is powered by a 383 CID Commando V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The owner said it only has 13,500 miles since the rebuild and it definitely shows. The car has an 8-track player with a few albums to go with it as well so you can really go back in time! The electric convertible top, power brakes, power steering, vinyl interior and seat belts give you the creature comforts that you want in order to make this classic as comfortable as ever. The car has documentation and a few spares that go with it. Anyone who buys this will own a true gem.

For 1967, the Fury body was restyled with a sharp, angular profile. The stacked quad headlight bezels were curvier and set more deeply into the body, giving the car a more muscular look. The rooflines had sharper angles and gave the car a longer, more luxurious appearance. A new, formal two-door hardtop body style appeared which featured smaller rear quarter windows and a wider, back-slanted "C" pillar. Called the "fast top," it was offered alongside the restyled thin "C" pillar hardtop in both VIP and Sport Fury series (as well as on corresponding big Dodge models). The 1967 model year introduced new safety regulations, which meant that for the first time, all Plymouths included dual-circuit brake master cylinder, energy-absorbing steering column and wheel, recessed instrument panel controls, and shoulder belt mounting points for outboard front seat occupants.

For sale in our Chicago showroom is a quick 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. The Road Runner name was introduced in 1968 as a trim level for the Plymouth Belvedere. The model was shoehorned between the highest trim GTX and the Satellite and was a huge success. The Road Runner sold double its expected numbers in the first year. This Road Runner will get up and scoot and is a real thrill getting it up to speed. This Road Runner has had an older repaint but is still a great example as a driver. The body lines and classic styling are sure to turn some heads. This bird left the St. Louis assembly plant in 1969 with a 383 Cubic Inch V8 that has since been replaced with a 440 Cubic Inch Big Block V8 that sounds fantastic and will let your fellow motorists know you are on the road. Mated to that classic engine is 4-speed manual transmission running the power back to a posi-traction rear end. This car is ready for the street or the strip and features a fuel cell, large Autometer tachometer, and a SunPro gauge cluster to keep an eye on all of your performance. Starting back in the mid 80’s there were quite a few guys beginning to revive the spirit of the original era which led to the class being formed. This 66 is a fitting example of what these cars are all about. No fancy ECU’s collecting data for the next hit or controlling spark and fuel mixtures on this beast. Just plain and simple raw power with the driver trying to get it to the ground. This 66 was a great car when started with the body in an excellent condition the attention was directed to the heart of the MOPAR. Built by Muscle Motors in Lansing MI, the 572 CI HEMI is a force to be contended with. Putting out a ground shaking 800 HP standing next to this behemoth at idle is something every gearhead needs to experience. With those massive Hemi heads taking up so much space it takes a couple looks to figure out how that got so much engine under that hood. With the cross-ram intake sitting on top getting enough fuel to this animal is the least of your worries. Built by John Cope the reverse manual valve body 727 trans is exactly what you would expect in such a build. Getting power to the ground is the bullet proof Dana 60 rear end which has been filled with a set of Moser 40 splined axles. The 4.56 gear set will get this MOPAR down the ¼ mile perfectly. The cage has been certified and meets the NHRA standards for nostalgia super stock with the fit being one of the best I have seen. The Gary Ball Super Stock interior is clean and what should be in the car keeping it as close to the real deal as possible. With a build expense into the 6 figures and only 20 passes on the car this would be an excellent way to get into one of the most competitive and coolest classes of drag racing there is. For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a second generation Plymouth Barracuda from 1968. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. Some points of interest with the 1968 Cudas were that the front and rear bumpers were identical, the rear portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. In 1968, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (210 kW), the latter available only with the Formula S package. This Barracuda S comes with a Hensler Performance numbers matching rebuilt 383 and a 4 speed transmission,[non numbers matching trans] with just 500-miles on the motor since reinstalled. The dark Green exterior paint is in very good condition, shines brilliantly in the sun and contrasts nicely against the painted steel wheels with dog-dish hub caps. The black vinyl interior appears new and in great condition with only minimal signs of normal wear on the seat belts. The dash also shows no signs of sun fading or cracks. These and other upgrades increased the engine's output to 235 bhp (175 kW). New options were introduced for the Barracuda as the competition among pony cars intensified. One of the most iconic Mopar muscle cars of all time is the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner in Vitamin C Orange. This car was originally built at the Lynch Road assembly plant in Detroit with a scheduled production date of April 26, 1969. Making it a 1969 ½ and one of 422 that were built with the 440-6bbl as well as an A833 4-Speed manual transmission. Do not let the cartoon bird on the car’s body panels fool you, this car means business and is not to be taken lightly. If cars could tell tales we are more than certain that any car that dared line up next to this one was sure to see a set of tail lights through its windshield in no time! The factory steel long quarter panels are ripple-free and still showcase that neat slash of relief along the upper edge. Panel gaps are good, and the monstrous hood scoop sits in the middle of a satin black hood designed to emulate the mighty A-12 cars that terrorized drag strips in late 1969. The interior is quite stock and while it emulates a no-frills attitude, the bench seat has a very handsome look. There's a 4-speed shifter sticking out of the floor so there's no weight-adding console to slow you down and it's topped with a proper pistol-grip handle! The factory gauges include an in-dash tachometer and work just as great as they work and serve almost as a glimpse into a time machine. What truly sets this Road Runner apart from other cars of its time is the numbers matching 440 cubic inch V8 punching out 390 horsepower.
