For sale now in our Houston showroom is an extremely clean 1971 Chevrolet Camaro that has been through a full & complete professional restoration 5 years ago. The car shows very well and the pictures do not do the “mulsanne blue” paint finish justice. 1970 marks the beginning of the second generation of the wildly popular Camaro line that has led to its iconic status of the car today.

The power plant in the front is a 350 CID V8 leading into a 4-speed manual transmission that were both rebuilt during the restoration process. Transferring that power train to the ground is a 10 bolt rear differential housing 3:73 gears. The undercarriage of this car looks as good as the top with color matched axle & suspension. If the paint, interior, and stance of this car hasn’t already won you over, once your eyes catch the incredible attention to detail in the engine bay you will be in love. The engine is beefed up with high Holley flow carb, high rise intake, large core aluminum radiator, MSD electronic ignition, long tube headers, all fluid lines are stainless steel lines with AN fittings, & it also has color paint matched valve covers to tie the look together. The car is full of high quality brand name parts that will give this car a great life for many years.

You must drive this car to appreciate how nice it rides. Not all pretty cars ride well, this one could make it coast to coast with no issues. Come find out for yourself.

The custom interior is very nice with all new door panels, custom leather seats with the color matched “Camaro” stitched into the headrest, a new dash with custom color matched trim pieces, headliner, & carpet. All of the custom pieces & additions have all been tastefully done. The car sits on very nice polished Cragar wheels with Mickey Thompson tires. No expense has been spared during the restoration process that this car has been through. This car will not last long at this price and is available now at our Houston location showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call (832)243-6220 or email Houston@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Other 1969 - 1973 Chevrolet Camaro

1973 Chevrolet Camaro

1973 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 350
Transmission: 3- Speed Automatic
Mileage: 72,599 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Split Bumper. Most will agree that the '73 is the last of the greats for the Camaro as 1974 would see body changes and drops in horsepower. This beauty is painted in a great shade of Red and has the classic combination of a black vinyl interior. Power comes from a mild 350 small block that sends power to a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to a 10 Bolt rear end housing 3.08:1 highway gears. Equipment is just right with Air Conditioning, Power brakes, Power steering and a stereo with CD plyer. The 350 has around 500 miles on it since a professional rebuild. The transmission was also rebuilt and has a mild shift kit. When considering a Camaro of this era, in almost all cases, you're going to prefer a Split Bumper car. This one looks great riding on a set of chrome rally wheels that are wrapped in radial rubber. The car has been frame on restored. The undercarriage still looks original and is not covered in heavy undercoating to hide anything. It sure looks solid and is ready for someone to take it to the next level or enjoy it as is and still be a very proud owner. The odometer shows 72,599. It is marked as unknown mileage due to no supporting paperwork, however we can't imagine that this one has rolled over. It is just too solid for that and wouldn't look nearly as nice as it does today. For more information on this 1973 Split Bumper Camaro, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. 1973 Chevrolet Camaro

1973 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 350 Turbo
Mileage: 56,009 ( undocumented )

This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The second generation of GM’s Pony car was released in the spring of 1970 as a 70 Model. They were an instant hit with the public due to their great fastback styling and the endless list of options. They were not highly sought-after cars in the collector car market until recently. Now they have almost a cult like following with the 70-73 models being the most desirable. This example has had quite a bit of work done in order to bring it to its current condition. Receipts show that the build began back in late 2007 with the majority of the work being completed in the next 2 years. We will start with the body of this beauty which appears to have had both front fenders replaced. With the fitment of the doors and hood being well with in 73 standards the car was then painted. The dark blue is very similar to the iconic Admiral blue which shows off the lines of the Camaro nicely. The white racing stripes going over the hood and trunk lid add to the stock look and compliment the Blue nicely. Sealed in with a couple coats of clear the paint not only looks great but has that added layer of protection. The interior of the car has been taken back to its former glory with the black vinyl buckets upfront being classic 70’s Camaro. The B&M Ratchet style shifter is a nice touch, but I prefer just simply dropping it down in D but is nice to have the option. Under the hood is a very healthy small block 350 giving the car plenty of power. Consisting of your typical go-fast parts such as the huge 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb and matching intake this thing is classic muscle at its best. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with a mash of the gas second gear comes rather quickly with a firm shift. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power getting pout down to the pavement with out any worries. The 4-wheel disc brakes get this second-generation Camaro slowed down in a hurry. If you have been looking for a split bumper that is fun to drive, gets everyone’s attention, and don’t cost an arm and a leg this Blue beauty is the one. Options on this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro include; AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or Email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.
