Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this 1983 GMC C1500. Originally built and delivered in Canada, its speedometer's main scale is in KM; as well as its ODO readout. Although the odometer reads 305548, that's equivalent to 189859 miles on the truck. With only 40,000KM (25,000 miles) on the build, it's broken in and ready for cruising. Powering this square body GMC pickup for sale is a 350 CID small block Chevy V8 with a GM TH350 automatic trans. With a custom dual exhaust system with full length headers, you'll know when it barks to life that this isn't your grandpa's old beater pickup. Open the engine bay and you'll see a Bowtie engine dressed to impress, topped with: matte black Edelbrock valve covers and chrome oil breather, a polished Edelbrock performance intake, and Edelbrock performance carburetor. Backing the muscular V8 is an easy shifting automatic transmission. With a truck that's as simple as "throw it in gear and go!" this truck is one easy cruiser. The power is delivered to the pavement via a GM 10-bolt rear end. With its cowl induction-styled hood, slightly raked-forward stance, slightly lowered suspension, and custom 20 inch DUB rims wrapped in low-profile performance radials, you're going to get a vehicle that not only looks sharper, but drives sharper, too. The exterior is tastefully done in a satin black over gloss red two-tone, with trim accents also done in matching satin black. The two-tone scheme of black over red really gives this '83 GMC C1500 a real muscle truck vibe. With an exterior so sharp and custom, you'll be surprised when you look inside the cab. The interior is a real throwback, with the original gray and black interior throughout. The gray cloth bench is warm and welcoming and reminds you that yes, this still is a classic and functional C1500 for sale. Options on this 1983 GMC C1500 for sale include: a Pioneer head unit with CD, AUX, USB, and Bluetooth, two 10" subwoofers powered by a 1000 watt amp, power steering, power brakes, seat belts, and cloth and vinyl interior. Now's your chance to get into one fun driving muscle truck! 1988 GMC S15 Convertible

1988 GMC S15 Convertible

Engine: 2.5L Inline 4
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual w/OD
Mileage: 40633 ( actual )

This custom 1988 GMC S15 is available in our Louisville KY showroom. The S15 was GMC’s version of the S10 which was a light truck that sold very well from 1983 to 1990. Many of these trucks were used as platforms in the mini truck world, a term used for lowered customized light trucks popular in the early 90’s. This example is a one owner low mileage truck that had a ton of custom work done over the years. Stat with the body and paint, the custom front end gives it a sporty style while making it appear even lower. The paint on the truck is custom and typical of what you would see done in that era. The top was cut off making this little s15 a convertible with its removable hardtop. The wheels on the truck are Dayton’s, the original spoke wheel used on many low riders. The gold spokes are clean and with these being true knock off’s that spinner is not just for looks. Under the custom louvered hood, the original engine still runs great and with it being the 2.5 liter does great on gas. The manual transmission shifts out great with the clutch still having a great feel. Inside the interior has been customized as well with the bucket seats having a velour material making them soft to the touch. The white Grant steering wheel is a great touch with the full size panoramic rear-view mirror really putting an exclamation point on the build. Options on this 1988 GMC S15 include, AM/FM Radio, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, and Knock Off Wire Dayton’s with Radial Tires. This 1988 GMC S15 can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

1983 GMC Caballero

1983 GMC Caballero

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Other
Mileage: 5000 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classy 1983 GMC Caballero. It’s often forgotten that GMC made their own version of the well-known El Camino made by Chevrolet. The vehicle was originally names the GMC Sprint but that was changed back in ’78 to the Caballero and it remained in production until 1987. This Caballero is powered by a strong running 350 CID V8 that will push you down the road with ease. The engine is mated to a 3-speed Automatic transmission which both were rebuilt roughly 11 years ago. It may be an older rebuild however the car has only been driven an estimated 5,000 miles since the rebuild, meaning there is plenty of life left in this beauty. The true key to this classic is that it’s a 1 owner car with a clean Carfax. The car is painted in a sleek black and silver color combo that shows very well. The car also features a very nice spray-in bed liner to make for a nice work vehicle if it’s ever needed. This Caballero has all the benefits of both a car and a truck all in one. It’s light weight, fast and looks great while at the same time can be used for a quick trip to Home Depot or Lowes. Taking a seat behind the wheel you will find a matching black on silver color combination making this car truly show worthy. You may notice the empty space for a stereo, but this is simply due to the owner enjoying the sound of the car more. When driving a classic that’s all that there should be, you, the car, and the road. No need to worry because the A/C was left in place and blows nice and cold for those hot summer days. 1986 GMC Sierra Classic 1500

1986 GMC Sierra Classic 1500

Engine: 5.0L V8 4BL
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 5736 ( undocumented )

This 1986 GMC Sierra 1500 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The GMC Sierra has long been known as Chevy’s higher end brother. The recent explosion in these mid 80’s trucks has brought out a lot of low mileage examples and this beauty is no different. With the odometer reading a mere 5650 miles, appearing to be original, this is a great example. The Autocheck does show a discrepancy but that does appear to be a simple clerical issue. The black and tan paint appear to be original with the red pinstriping separating the 2 nicely. The spray in bed liner is a great touch and was just installed a couple years ago. Underneath is really where you being to tell that this actual mileage with it being one of if not the cleanest I have seen. Under the hood is the original 305 that still starts right up without any hesitation. The OD transmission with a set of 3.42 gears the truck can easily handle highway speeds. The auxiliary fuel tank will allow you to take a road trip without having to refuel all day long. Inside the cab is where this sierra sets itself apart with a host of options that will make you feel like you’re in a luxury car. The tan is accented with black bringing the outside in and not something seen on trucks of this year. The cloth on the seat is in excellent shape and what is to be expected on such a nice truck. With the door panels being in the same condition it hard to believe this truck is 32 years old. If you have been wanting to get your hands on one of these low mileages 80’s examples that has been meticulously taken care this is the best 86 GMC Sierra out there. Options on this 1986 GMC Sierra 1500 include, AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, and Rally Wheels with Radial Tires. 1984 GMC C1500

1984 GMC C1500

Engine: LS1 5.7L V8
Transmission: Other
Mileage: 56000 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this modernized and beefy 1984 LS1 powered GMC C-10. One of the irritations with older vehicles is the difficulty of starting a carbureted engine in cold weather, carb tuning and cleaning and general maintenance that goes along with it. The LS1 engine is a modern all aluminum V8 that takes away the headaches of the older designed power plants. Not only is it more reliable, but it is also much better on fuel and allows for generation of big power along with lightweight design. The LS1 is combined with a fantastic and smooth shifting 4L60 transmission. The truck has a posi rear end with 3:42 gearing which allows for great traction and low rpms on the highway. You might want to think of this truck as a modern Trans Am but with the utility of a truck. Best of both worlds! The truck is finished with a white PPG paint and beautiful tan leather interior. It gives the truck a very luxurious feel throughout. Power brakes, power steering, CD player, leather, tilt wheel, alloy wheels and radial tires. All features that you will find on this truck. This is known as the third generation of the Chevrolet/GMC C-10. The third-generation trucks are colloquially known as the "Square-body" or "Box-body" generation. GM's official "Rounded-Line" moniker highlighted the pickup's rounded styling cues that were incorporated into the design. This included rounded windshield corners, rounded corners of the cab roof, rounded-corner doors which cut high into the cab roof eliminating roof height, slanted front fenders, and rounded pickup box corners which allowed for rounded wraparound taillamps, a first for GM pickups. The design also featured strong distinctive curved shoulder lines which rounded out below the beltline. The curved shoulder line continued across the back tailgate on Chevrolet Fleetside and GMC Wideside models. However, the low slope of the hood and rectangular front end of the truck originated the "square/box-body" nickname, which was propagated through truck magazines and word of mouth. GM's design engineers fashioned the "Rounded-line" exterior in an effort to help improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, using wind tunnel technology to help them sculpt the body. Other design traits include sleek sculpted body work, an aerodynamic cab with steep windshield rake, and a unique available hidden radio antenna embedded into the windshield glass. You will be hard pressed to find another third generation LS1 powered GMC C-10 that is as nice as this throughout. It has been meticulously built and taken care of. Please reach out to the Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 to learn more about the truck or to learn about purchase and finance options. You can visit the truck in person at 1910 Cypress Station Dr Suite 200, Houston, TX 77090.
