Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is an all original and true survivor car, 1969 Ford Mustang Grande. This car is a 2-owner car that moved from one neighbor to the other after 47 years. 1969 was an amazing year for muscle cars with the introduction of the Mach 1 mustang, a new 302 Boss mustang, & many more. The Grande was a luxury model became available starting for 1969, available in only the hardtop body style. The 'Grande' featured a soft ride, 55 pounds (24.9 kg) of extra sound deadening, as well wire-style wheel covers, racing style mirrors and a special interior with wood-grain trim and a center console storage space. It was popular very popular with buyers with production numbers reaching 22k units in the first year. This one sits in our showroom with 42,350 all original miles, the car has its original winter blue paint that is in amazing condition for being 48 years old. The white vinyl top is in great shape & not dulled by the sun. It has its original 302 CiD V8 that puts out 250 bhp@4600rpm & 300 lb·ft@2600rpm & it still running strong! Paired to the 4.9L V8 is the stock C-4 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and quietly. The all original two-tone cloth & vinyl interior looks like the day it did when it rolled off the production line. The blue & wood grain color combo works well on this car and was a popular option. All options are the car work as they should, including the factory AC! Another nice feature is its original Ford wire wheel hub caps that are in great shape. The owner has the original Bill of Sale from the dealer it was purchased at in 1969 for $3,635.00 & the original build sheet. The car will also come with much more original documentation dating back to 1969 up until 2017. You just simply cannot find survivor cars this clean very often, especially a rarer version like this Grande Coupe.
