Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this 1970 Chevrolet Corvette. There is probably not another car that represents the United States better than the Corvette. This is the American Dream and this dream is in beautiful driver condition. Everything started in 1953 when Chevrolet built a small sports car called the Corvette. A man named Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of a small, maneuverable warship and this battleship is ready for combat.

Pushing this car down the road is its original numbers-matching 350 CID V8 engine is pumping out some serious horses and the 'Vette takes off with a screaming V8 sound. Of course, you want to maneuver this Chevy with a 4-speed manual transmission that spins a set of 3.70 gears in the rear end. This is how a restored C3 should be and that is exactly how it is with this ’70 Corvette. The engine & transmission have less than 400 miles on it since it was balanced & blueprinted during its rebuild. Engine also has new carburetor, intake, distributor, balanced drive shaft, new high torque starter, clutch pressure plate, & much more.

The fiberglass body lines up great & is free from any major imperfections. The very nice quality Resale red paint is in great condition and shows very well. It was repainted less than a year ago in a 2-state PPG base/clear paint. The chrome bumpers are in like new condition as well as the trim & glass. This car is fully restored with all new wiring harness, the fiberglass body was stripped all the way down and recondition then painted the right way. Many new parts on the car including new brakes, new SS exhaust, new suspension & bushings.

The red interior is in like new condition & looks great with matching the exterior. With every part of the interior is new & RED! Seats, carpet, dash, door panels are car show quality. The white soft top looks brand new and it opens and closes great. The frame is painted & looks straight underneath without any visible rust.

This 'Vette comes with following options: AM/FM Radio, Manual Convertible Top, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts and Vinyl Interior. This C3 is ready for another 50 years and a new owner. You will have a great time with this car. It has it all, it looks good, it is fast and it is a great investment. Corvettes are steadily going up in value. Don’t wait too long to call us. The Corvettes are super popular all over the world and don’t let anybody else steal your dream. Let it ride!!! 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Engine: 427 435HP L71
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 45,896 ( undocumented )

1969… That was the year for the L-71 Corvette and we have a stunning blue on blue Corvette here for sale. It features an L-71 427ci 435hp tri power car. It is in amazing condition and features a 4 speed manual transmission. Take a closer look at this beauty! In 1969, Tire size remained the same, although this was the first year for optional white lettered tires and the last for red striped tires. Carried over from the previous year were seven available rear axle ratios ranging from 2.73 to 4.56. Standard ratio remained 3.08 with automatic and 3.36 with manual transmission. The optional Positraction rear axle, mandated on many engine/gearbox combinations, was installed on more than 95% of the cars. "Stingray" script nameplates appeared on front fenders, now one word, in contrast to the “Sting Ray” name used previously. Exterior door handles were redesigned so the finger plate would actuate the door, eliminating the separate release button. Backup lights were integrated into the inboard taillights, headlight washers were added, and front grilles were made all black. Side mounted exhausts and front fender vent trim were options for this year only. On the inside, revised door panels provided additional shoulder room in the C3's tighter cabin and headrests became standard. Steering wheel diameter was reduced from 16 to 15 inches to permit easier entry and exit, the ignition switch was moved from the dash to the steering column, and map pockets were added to the dash area in front of the passenger seat. Accounting for 57% of the cars, coupes with their removable roof panels, began a trend of outselling roadsters. An extended production cycle due to a labor dispute increased '69 volume. This was the last year for the L88 engine and the only year for the ZL1 option, which offered an all-aluminum 427 cu in (7.0 L) big-block engine listed at 430 hp (321 kW). Rare options: ZL1 aluminum block (2), J56 heavy-duty brakes (115), L88 engine (116), L89 aluminum heads (390). This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. Engine: 454 CID V8

Mileage: 92,413 ( actual )

Few cars have captivated the imagination like the Chevrolet Corvette. From gracing the silver screen, to taking the podium on race day, inspiring generations of musicians, the Corvette is firmly sewn into the fabric of American history. This two-tone 1971 Corvette Coupe represents a great patch of that historical quilt. Scooting this American sports car along is the 365hp 454 cubic in. LS5 and TH400 3 speed automatic combination. It is getting more and more difficult to find great looking big block cars such as this that have been kept up to this kind of glory, and with just over 92,000 miles on the odometer it’s easy to realize this car has been someone’s prized possession for years ! Swing open the long doors, and you are greeted with the classic black vinyl interior that looks just as great as the day it rolled off the assembly line. The large wood wheel just feels right in your hands, and provides confidence when pushing the limits, while t-tops give the option of feeling the open air and sunshine on your face. With a Big Block Chevy v8 the sound delivered is undeniably muscle, yet the well equipped black vinyl interior tells you that you are riding in a luxury sports car. This was always the niche that the Corvette filled; it is not quite a muscle car, nor is it a sports car. It is America’s car, make this one your car today. You can view this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500

1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500

Engine: 454 CID V8
Transmission: TH350 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 68,012 ( undocumented )

This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette L82 Pace Car is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1978 was the 25th anniversary of the Corvette and GM wanted to capitalize on this prestigious event with a special edition Corvette. After speaking with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, GM was able to obtain the rights to be the pace car for the race. The decision was made to have the car painted black and silver a classic color combination. They had 2 versions with base model having the L48 which consisted of close 75% of the cars. This beauty is one of the more coveted L82 models which was switched out for something that is a little more powerful. The new engine is still a small block, but the displacement has been increased to a total of 454 CI. The balanced and blueprint engine is putting out over twice as much as the original L82 giving this pace car the power it deserves. A blueprint cast iron block was used which allows for a much longer stroke with the forged connecting rods being 6.00. The 950CFM carb feeds just the right amount of fuel and with the engine having a 10:1 compression pump gas works just fine. The TH350 transmission was rebuilt and seems to handle the power extremely well transferring the power to the rear wheels with ease. The custom exhaust really lets everyone know that this is not your normal small block. The interior is clean and original to the car with the weather stripping replaced as well as the T Tops. The exterior of the car looks great with the remaining stickers still in their original box. To top everything off the car is even sold with the original window sticker showing the original 14410.21 sticker price equivalent to almost 54500 dollars in today’s money. If you have been wanting one of these Iconic Pace Cars but the performance wasn’t quite there for you this beauty has that problem squared away. Options on this 1978 Chevrolet Pace Car include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Seat Belts, T-Tops, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Aluminum Wheels, and Leather Interior. Mileage: 57,885 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is thrilled to offer this big, bad 1970 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle for sale right now in our showroom. This frame-off restoration was preformed by Lengendary Motor Company LTD and is extremely well done. This Chevelle is equipped with a seam-splitting 454 CID V8 360-hp ,that will make you feel like you’ve experienced a small earthquake every time you touch the gas pedal. Paired with a Turbo 400 transmission this Chevelle is guaranteed to give you more smiles than miles per gallon! This 1970 Chevelle presents itself as it was the day she was born and per the consigner, has only been driven 253-miles since the 2009 restoration. If you’re a die-hard looking for one of the nicest Malibus around – you’ve found it!! She’s as nice underneath – as she is on top - with it’s Red paintjob with black stripes and black vinyl interior – she’s very well done! To add to the excitement, she is optioned with a/c, tilt wheel, power windows, and am/fm stereo. This is a very solid build that will certainly turn heads with the way it looks and sits wherever you go, and if they don’t look at you when you turn the corner – then the roar of an unrestrained big-block V8 will get the attention. While the Chevelle brand is synonymous with muscle car enthusiasts and there are plenty of examples at most car shows, this one right here in our Atlanta showroom really is something special and you know that the first person who sees it will want it in their garage. Don’t be beaten to this one-of-a-kind 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale right now in our facility. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833 or email us directly at atlanta@gatewayclassiccars.com.
