1953 Ford F100 Pickup

1953 Ford F100 Pickup

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 350 Turbo
Mileage: 15000 ( since rebuilt )

This awesome 1953 Ford F100 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The F series truck has been one of the most iconic American vehicles ever built. If you want to get technical about it the introduction of the F-100 in 1953 is really the ones that put an exclamation point on that statement. Designed with the consumer in mind the cab now had a full 5 ft of space. The wrap around windshield not only looked great but gave the driver a better unobstructed view. Over the years these trucks have lent themselves to customizers making for a great canvas to add their personal touches to. This example has had extensive work performed transforming it into the custom you see today. The most notable of this work ahs to be the paint. Using a house of color pearl white for the base the paint is slick and show worthy. The flake adds to the custom look and is what you would see on show trucks of the late 60’s. The airbrushed design is reminiscent of Larry Watson’s style and is as custom as they come. Under the hood is a small block 350 that was purchased new when the truck was built. The chrome dress-up kit looks great with the chrome valve covers going nicely with the air cleaner. Bought new with the engine the TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with smooth shifts through all 3 gears. The belly burner exhaust is unique and something that was done back in the late 60’ and early 70’s keeping with that classic custom theme. The running boards have been done in vinyl and match the exterior styling which has been carried on to the inside. The bench seat has been covered in that same vinyl along with the door panels which ties the whole truck together. If you have been looking for a truck that appears to be straight out of the 60’s this one off custom has your name all over it. Options on this custom 1953 Ford F100 include Vinyl Interior, and White Wall Bias Ply Tires on Chrome Wheels. Located in our Louisville Showroom, this one off 1953 Ford F100 can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 396 Chevy 6-71 Blower
Transmission: TH-350
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a one of a kind 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This is not your grandfather's T-Bird. Power comes from a Chevy 396 Big Block and a 6-71 Blower! Yes that's right, a blown big block Chevy in a T Bird. Certainly enough power for this lightweight. The body is fiberglass and it has a narrowed rear end plus a Mustang II front end. Power is sent to the rear wheels via TH-350 automatic, Ford 9" and 3.55 gears. Front disc brakes will slow you down in a hurry. In addition to this wild build, it is also equipped with Power windows, radio and a Power trunk lid. The looks of this Thunderbird will draw a crowd from anywhere. Bright red, convertible, blower sticking out of the hood and fat Mickey Thompson tires out back. Of course if you don't see this car coming, you'll hear it! It's not too loud but will certainly let you know that it means business. The rumble from the Big block and the whine from the blower, yes that will do it. Inside is a stock Thunderbird bench seat, modified gauges, switches for the electric fuel pump, electric cooling fan, ignition and a power cutoff in the glove box. The trunk is finished nicely and features a fuel cell in between he rear tubs for the giant rear wheels. Top up or top down, this is a fun car. For those of you that like the look of the old Thunderbirds but need double the power, look no further, as this one belongs in your garage. 1955 Ford Thunderbird

1955 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 292 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 72566 ( undocumented )

Thank you for your interest in this beautiful 1955 Ford Thunderbird presented by Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa. One of the most beautiful pieces of Americana, they were considered to be direct competition to the Chevrolet Corvette. Helping spawn a new generation of automobiles in the United States, and aimed to take on the European market, the Ford Thunderbird was powered by a 292 CID V8, which gave the already smaller, lighter car the power it needed to make for both an excellent road racer as well as the perfect car for older couples to sit back and enjoy a movie at the drive-in. Mated to the engine is a 2-speed automatic transmission, which allowed the car for fairly smooth shifting, but in the higher gear allowed the vehicle to cruise at highway speeds without drinking too much gas. The interior of this car is a beautiful red and white two tone seating, with red carpets throughout. The hard-top is painted in white to give the car a two-tone look. Take the top off to enjoy the beautiful weather in absolute style! The exterior is painted to match the interior, with a stunning bright red paint job with a new black top that really gives the car a high quality 1950's kind of feel. Driving a 1955 Ford Thunderbird is truly an experience one simply cannot explain, these cars are the truest form of Americana one can find. Options include AM Radio, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Wide White Walls, Wire Wheels, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Power seat. To see this car in better detail, including over 100+ high definition videos and a full length high definition video, please go to www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1955 Ford Thunderbird

1955 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 292 CID V8
Transmission: Ford-O-Matic
Mileage: 462 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful Golden Rod Yellow 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This Amos Minter (of Minter’s Thunderbird in Dallas) restored 55’ T-Bird looks absolutely fantastic. Open the hood and you will see the original 292 CID 4BBL V8 engine that was rebuilt and restored to like new condition. The Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was also rebuilt and shifts beautifully. The black and yellow interior shows very well with very little signs of usage. This is a highly optioned interior including the 4-way power seat and telescopic steering wheel. The AM radio and gauges were all rebuilt and function as they should. The 6-volt system is gone, in its place is a more modern and preferred 12-volt system. The rarely seen Golden Rod Yellow paint shines beautifully and stands proud against the gleaming brightwork on this 55’ T-Bird. The underside is just as clean and shows the detail of this quality restoration. The hard top is painted to match the body, while the soft top is black vinyl. You have the possibility of 3 different looks, yellow hard top, black vinyl top, or no top at all! The odometer reads 464, which represents the actual mileage put on the car since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1955 Ford Thunderbird include: AM Radio, Telescopic Steering Wheel, Manual Convertible Top (Hard and Soft Top included), Power Seats, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Firestone Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires, and Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels. This is an incredible opportunity to own a 55’ Thunderbird that was restored by the Thunderbird guru himself, Amos Minter. This no expense spared restoration also won the Gold Trophy in Washington State. 1965 Ford Mustang

1965 Ford Mustang

Engine: 298 V6
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 32999 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning, power windows, power locks, Power mirrors etc… This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
