Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville proudly presents this awesome 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod for sale. This ’32 Ford Sedan is definitely a throwback to way cooler times. While most modern-day street rods sport a Mustang II style front suspension, this old girl has a chromed solid drop axle and spindles. Steering is handled by a Schroeder side steer unit. The long steering rod has been drenched in chrome as well and really pops against the bright red sheet metal. The Sedan has been chopped 1 ½ inches and channeled another inch to give it a nice sleek and low look. Steel wheels have been color matched to the body, then dressed out with chromed center caps and beauty rings. The wheels have been wrapped in wide whitewall bias ply Firestone tires to finish off the classic 50’s hot rod look. Under the hood of this old school hot rod is a Buick 401 Nail Head engine. The engine has been dressed out with dual chrome weber carburetors, chrome intake, chrome Buick valve covers, and chromed lake style headers. The headers are bolted to set of stainless steel exhaust that tuck up nicely to the underside of the car. The rear end is a Winters Quick Change unit which again pays homage to the Hot rods of the 50’s and early 60’s. Inside the ’32 Ford Sedan is a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr dash. With the fit and finish, it looks like this dash came with the car. The pleated red and cream interior just screams 50’s era hot rod. Look closely though, they are a few modern amenities lurking on the inside. This ’32 Ford Sedan has a nice AM/FM radio with a CD player for your listening enjoyment. Look under the dash and you will notice a set of knobs for the AC. That’s right, this old school hot rod is equipped with Air Conditioning to keep you as cool as you will look when driving this beauty. The attention to detail and craftsmanship has made stunner an award winner. Most notable is the Goodguys/Dupont Hot Hues 2008 Hot Rod of the year. Options for this 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with CD player, Tilt Steering Wheel, Wide Whitewall Bias ply tires with colored matched steel wheels. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1932 Ford Highboy Roadster. This 32’ Ford chassis is by Just a Hobby and the body is a Downs extended body. Both the chassis and body are finished in a two-stage green paint which is accented with professionally applied flames running down each side and pinstriping throughout, including the dash. The black vinyl interior is very soft, comfortable, and shows very well. A tilt column has been added to ease the process of entry and exit on this street rod. Which is very thoughtful addition since there is not a lot of room in the seating area of these roadsters. Powering this 32’ Ford is ZZ4 350 CID Crate GM V8 engine with 3 2BBL Demon carburetors and intake. With the current setup this ZZ4 350 is producing an estimated 333 horsepower. Zoomie style headers run to FlowMasters creating an awesome sound to the hot rod Ford. An aluminum radiator and an electric fan help keep this 32’ Ford cool even on the hottest of summer days. A TH-350 automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter transfers the power to the Currie 9” Ford rear end that houses 3.08 gears. The odometer reads 4,823, which is believed to be the actual mileage put on the car since the build was complete. This 32' Ford drives and handles great courtesy of the coil-overs on all 4 corners, and stops on a dime with the power disc front brakes. Thanks to the Rack-and-Pinion and Coilovers to an Early Mustang, this roadsters drives, turns, and just flatly feels better than your typical roadster. That's is, it rides like a car, rather than a death trap. The professionally laid Dodge Viper Yellow paint looks amazing and features subtle flames on the hood and doors. The tan leather interior is also in excellent condition, free from any rips, tears, or wear. The white faced VDO gauges wrapped in a polished alloy cluster housing provide the perfect look for this yellow dash and tan interior. The tilt wheel makes entering and exiting the car very easy. Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 1957 Thunderbird that is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom. The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and is credited in developing a new market segment, the personal luxury car. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a hood scoop and a 150 mph (240 km/h) speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didn't possess. Mechanically though, the Thunderbird could trace its roots to other mainstream Fords. The Thunderbird's 102.0 inches wheelbase frame was mostly a shortened version of that used in other Fords. This car has been repainted a number of years ago but still looks great. It has a power seat, Town & Country seeking radio, and muffler just replaced. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
