This ectremely clean 1932 Ford Victoria is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 32 Ford Victoria is possibly the most recognizable of all the 32 line up. The Vicky, as it is known by many, are extremely popular with street rodders but were even more popular with oval racers in the 50’s and 60’s which is where most of these steel body cars met their demise. This slick, street rodded out, 32 Vicky has been put together with a great attention to detail. The body fitment, especially for a glass car, is extremely nice with the panels coming together seamlessly. The 3-pc steel hood is a nice touch and will keep from cracking when open closing the hood, a widespread problem on these glass cars. The grill is Dan Fink stainless steel piece and compliments the car with its straight forward design. The paint on this beauty is slick and as red as red gets with the custom pin striping breaking it up a little. The retractable license plate is a that custom 3-piece hood is the classic Chevy small block 350. The aluminum heads have been matched to the perfect roller cam giving this Street rod some Hotrod attitude. The TH350 transmission has been mated up to a Posi-rear end with a set of 2.87 gears. The rear-end has a polished case with an inboard brake design giving it one super trick look. The underneath of this Rod is unbelievably clean with parts of polished pieces against the red giving it a show car feel. However, this car was not built to be a show car it was built to be driven and with the interior set up with all the amenities of a modern car this Vicky is ready to cruise. The Classic Instrument Gauges are a nice touch and keep with the style of the build. The red and gray really compliment the car while being extremely comfortable as well. The Body The custom bodywork was done by Zipper Motors of Farmington, Utah and features a seamless integrated French Tail/Turn light bar, inset fuel door, & retractable rear tag. Other mods are color-matching left/right mirrors, ’32 polished grill, Walker color matched radiator, & tinted glass. The Chassis The tubular chassis has been color matched in Planet Green and features chromed front upper & lower tubular “A” arms, chromed 4-corner adjustable coil overs, chromed four-link, chromed outer tie rods, billet polished spindles, and manual rack and pinion steering. This hotrod also features a complete Willwood break setup that includes the master cylinder, brake pedal, and chromed brake calipers on all 4 corners, as well as steel-braided brake lines & fittings. The Engine At the heart of this monster is a powerful General Motors 383. Bolted to the color-matched Planet Green block are a set of Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads, a complete Kinsler polished aluminum fuel injection system and manifold, Scat rotating assembly, billet aluminum timing cover, billet valve covers – breather – and air cleaner, chrome pully assembly, Jesel rockers, ARP fasteners, fluid damper, comp can hydraulic roller, & Manley push rods. The motor also features a Fuelab electric fuel pump, regulator and filter, as well as a Mallory ignition system. Managing all this performance is a Haltech F10X engine management system. Always firing up on the first crank – it sounds incredible with the custom ceramic coated block-huger headers & Flowmaster exhaust! The Wheels & Drive-Train In the center of the drive train is a GM 700R4 automatic transmission that has also been color-matched in Planet Greet and features a billet aluminum oil pan. A 2500 RPM stall converter is also been added. Inside the cab is a Lokar floor shifter with the Van Chase Joker shift knob mounted on the end! In the back is a Ford 9” rear end with posi-traction with a 3.55 gear ratio – and color-matched, of course! Keeping this sticking to the ground is a set of Budnik T6061 polished aluminum five-spoke wheels wrapped in Yokohama S Drive radial tires (215/40R-17(Fronts) | 275/40R-20 (Rears). The Interior Inside the cab is an a completely customized black interior with both bucket and rear seats finished in black ultra-leather. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model A was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930's, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. In 1932, Ford brought out a working-class V-8 and forever blurred the lines between factory performance, transportation and hot rods. This lightweight Wescott Body is paired to a potent Flathead V8 sports roughly 100 miles on a rebuild. For that reason alone, the '32 Ford would have earned its place as a performance archetype. Throw in some of the best styling to leave Dearborn in the prewar era and you have the makings of possibly the most sought-after mass-produced interwar car. This custom Vicky is built on a Fatman Chassis with a Pete & Jakes drop axle front-end, Ford 9” rear-end, and Wilwood disc brakes all the way around. Under the hood of this badboy is a 350 CID motor that has been bored .30 over with a full Edelbrock setup that includes: Polished intake, Carburetor, and valve covers. Bolted to the motor is also a set of short-tube headers, billet wire loom mounts, chrome alternator, and A/C – and she blows nice and cold! The motor is paired to a smooth shifting 700R4 – and she runs and drives outstanding. The all-fiberglass body (except for running boards and hood which are steel) is covered in 2002 Corvette Galaxy Silver Metallic paint that is in pristine condition and virtually flawless, and is accented with classic pin-striping. The aggressive low-profile stance gives this car an intimidating attitude that is finished off with a chrome set of FOOSE Wheels. This hotrod may not have power steering or power brakes but it is incredibly easy to maneuver and drive due to its light weight fiberglass body. The door handles and locks have been shaved off and electronic door poppers have been hidden in place, both under the runners, and inside under the dash. The back end can be opened by an electronic actuator with the key fob, and locked from the inside for security. Under the dash you will also find the electronic Overdrive switch and A/C switches. The Black interior has been nicely done in Ostridge skin leather and black vinyl on the seats, door panels, and headliner – all in excellent condition. Despite its chopped roof, it is very easy to see out of with the set of billet mirrors that have also been added. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back int he good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and white wall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Don't be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is nicely built 1932 Ford highboy roadster. The 1932 Ford Hi-boy Roadster is one of the most iconic hot rods ever produced. With sleek lines and an overall simple design, they became a go to for hot rod restorers everywhere. Eventually though the original steel body Fords were hard to come by so manufacturers started to re-manufacture them out of fiberglass which became the way to go for anyone looking to build their own hot rod, so with it being a complete build up, there are almost no two alike. Built with reliability in mind as well of ease of customization, the engine the tried and true Chevrolet Small Block 350 CID V8 and a 700R4 4speed automatic transmission were utilized. The rear end gear ratio is a 3.50:1 in a Ford 9” casing with Richmond gears for a good mix of acceleration and cruising. The entire build was done with quality parts, from the Autometer gauges to the Wheel Vintiques Steelies wheels.
