Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this fully documented 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. 1973 was the last year before the Mustang would take a leave of absence if you will. Sure, the thing called a Mustang II was produced but for the diehard Pony 73 was the last of the “True Stangs”. This 73 is a rare find with the paint code only showing 561 cars having this color verified by the Marti report. The paint is crisp and clean with the Ivy Green Metallic paint screaming 70’s. The white vinyl top is in excellent condition with no worries of the plastic window yellowing out since this one is actual glass. Under the hood of this classic pony is its original 351 that still puts out ample power. The most remarkable thing must be just how clean that engine bay is. I don’t think it was that clean when Ford had it on the assembly line. The blue valve covers look like they were professionally clear coated they are so shiny. Even the hood hinges look like they are brand new even though they are the ones that it left the factory with. Inside the Avocado Sebring Vinyl and cloth bucket seats are the original ones and all I can say is I hope I am in that good of shape when I’m 44 years old. The console mounted shifter keeps with the sporty feel while the three spoke steering wheel is another classic 70’s touch. With 2 build sheets, the original keys still taped in place, and a Marti report full of neat information on this 73-convertible pony. Whether you are a collector or just love Mustang’s this beauty is sure to be a fantastic addition to anyone’s collection. Options on this 1973 Mustang Convertible include; AC, AM, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Rally Wheels, Seat Belts and a Power Convertible Top. This gorgeous 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

Engine: 351 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 9,371 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This 1970 Mach 1 for sale in covered in iconic Grabber orange with black rally stripe and looks like it just drove out of the showroom for the first time. With the speed of sound being around 761 miles per hour and this speed being designated Mach1, Ford produced Mustangs with this title to let you know just how fast it was. Sitting between the front shock towers is the small block Ford that a lot of big blocks chased back then. The 351 Windsor and sitting on top of this power plant is an Edlebrock® performer 351-w intake with one of Vic’s own Carburetors. This of course provides plenty of power to blister the poor rear tires on this incredible pony car. Bolted to the back of this Engine is a 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver more control of just how long the rear tires last and of course how much smoke he put in the face of the Challenger behind him. The rear axle housing is Fords finest, a 9 inch that houses a 3.50 gear set. Maybe this should be a Mach2? With all this go, there must be enough whoa to go around so, power disc on every corner provide all you will need. Open the driver’s door and slide in to the control seat, let your left foot get used to the throw on the clutch, while your right finds the limit of the loud pedal. While getting used to the controls, take a look around at the like new high-backed bucket seats, center console, dash, carpet and head liner and try to remember that it is 2018 and not 1971. While sitting behind the wheel just try to not run through the gears and imagine the wild ride you could give this car, heck you would make Ken Block want to watch your you tube video. Heck I’ll watch it, I am a sucker for a fastback Mustang and this one is as good as it gets! Options for this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering and Brakes, Seat belts Posi Traction and Radial tires. Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale in their Indianapolis showroom. Just in time for the summer cruising season, this yellow drop-top is sure to turn a few heads as you roll past. The Mustang is an American classic, and they have been sought after and revered since their introduction in 1964 ½. The fourth generation Mustangs were built from 1971-1973 model years, with 1973 being the last year of the “pony car” era. The Mustang fell victim to the energy crunch of the day, and the following year changed focus to a more economical car. This Mustang has been in the care of its current owner for the past 27 years. In that time the car has benefitted from new floor pans, a new hood, and repaint, as well as interior upgrades and regular engine maintenance. The original carburetor, intake and AM 8-track audio unit, as well as, rear seat interior trim panels are all available as a part of the sale. The factory air conditioning system is currently inoperable and would need properly diagnosed to determine what’s wrong. Power comes from the tried and true 351 C V8, mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Other factory options include; vinyl interior, alloy wheels, power steering and brakes, spare tire, and power operating convertible top. Be sure to visit our website, www.gatewayclassiccars.com to view 100+ HD pictures, as well as a short video of this Model A in action. Better yet, stop by our Indianapolis showroom and see this beauty in person. We’re located at 4400 West 96th Street, Indianapolis, In. 46268. You can contact us directly at 317-688-1100. We look forward to seeing you on the showroom floor!

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a one of a kind 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Sold new on August 28th 1973 in Niagara Falls, New York; this Mach 1 has been lovingly maintained and cared for since. Right off the bat, the car as taken to Armor Guard to be Rust Guard treated. The sticker still remains on the window, and clearly the product did its job as the car is incredibly solid. From then on, the stewards whom owned the vehicle were fanatical about keeping maintenance records, and documentation throughout the car’s life. From oil change invoices, to original Dealership paperwork, almost all of it has remained with the car. With this paper trail, we know the car made it’s way from New York to South Carolina, and then eventually to Illinois. The car is a Mach 1 with it’s original 351 Cleveland under the hood, and a C6 transmission and 9” rear end. It is a well optioned car with bucket seats, factory stripes, factory tachometer, factory AM radio, and even a period style aftermarket FM converter. For the music buff, it also has a factory 8 track player, so you can jam REO Speedwagon’s Ridin the Storm out, or Elton John’s Crocodile rock on 8 track! Other options include: power steering, power brakes, 3 speed wipers, and cigarette lighter. With a recent visit to the Ford dealership, perished suspension and brake components have been replaced, and the car has been given a clean bill of health. As it sits, it is a wonderful highway cruiser and a joy to display at shows. Whether you’re an experienced Mustang collector, or wishing to enter the collector car hobby, this Mach 1 would be a great choice. 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible

1973 Ford Mustang Convertible

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 91,166 ( undocumented )

This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 73 Mustang is what many will consider the last year of the original Pony car. With the 67 to 72 cars reaching unheard of prices these 73’s are seeing a huge increase in demand. There longer front ends are beginning to catch on with some people preferring them over the earlier cars. This example has been through only 3 owners in the past 25+ years with each one maintaining the car and even keeping the receipts that have been passed on as well. The paint on the car is probably the first thing that catches your eye with it dark and deep red really pulling you in. The silver accents are a nice touch while the black rear and front chin spoiler are left in their natural flat black finish. The custom Mag wheels are a great addition and give the car a more modern feel. The black convertible top looks good when it is up but looks best tucked away and under the either white or black tonneau cover. Under the hood is the most popular engine to ever be put in a Mustang, the small block 302. This one was rebuilt about 8000 miles ago and still runs out great. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts thru the gears nicely with the clutch having a good feel and actually easier to use than most. The interior has been done in a sleek white vinyl with red accents bringing the outside in. If you have been wanting a fun Pony car that has that great modern look this 73 Mustang is the perfect car. Options on this car include AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or Email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1

Engine: V-8 Small Block
Transmission: 3 Speed Auto
Mileage: 11,594 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1970 Ford Mach 1. The Mach 1 package was only available in the 'SportsRoof' body style (previously known as the 'Fastback'); never on the hardtop or convertible. Many resto-mod visual conversions have since been performed by owners and enthusiasts, but are not Mach 1's by VIN code. The Mach 1 started with V8 powered 'Sportsroof' body and added numerous visual and performance enhancing items such as matte black hood treatment with hood pins, hood scoop (including optional Shaker scoop), competition suspension, chrome pop-open gas cap, revised wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires, chrome exhaust tips (except 351W 2V), deluxe interior, livery and dealer optional chin spoiler, rear deck spoiler, and rear window louvers (SportSlats). Mach 1s came with upgraded suspension to varying degrees dependent upon powertrain choices. Big block cars had front shock tower reinforcement, thicker sway bars (no rear bar for 69), and heavier springs and shocks. 428 CJ/SCJ 4 speed cars also came with staggered rear shocks. Standard on Mach 1s was a fierce but cosmetic hood scoop that had integrated turn-signal lights mounted in the back. A more functional option was the signature "Shaker hood", an air scoop mounted directly to the top of the motor, used to collect fresh air and so named for its tendency to "shake" above the rumbling V-8 below. The interior came complete with teak wood grain details, full sound deadening material and high-back sport bucket seats. Ford kept the Mach 1 alive into 1970 and little changed other than the visuals. The 1970 body included dual-beam headlights with the previous inner headlights becoming sport lamps and recessed taillights on a black honeycomb rear panel, side scoops behind both doors removed, revised bucket seats, deep dish sports wheel covers, as well as new side and rear badging and striping were the main visual differences. 1970 saw the previous 351W V8 engine options replaced with a new 351 cu in (5.8 L) Cleveland (351C) V8 in either 2V (for use with 2-venturi carbs) or 4V (for use with 4-venturi carbs) versions. The 351C 4V (M code) engine featured 11.0:1 compression and produced 300 bhp (224 kW; 304 PS) at 5400 rpm. This new performance engine incorporated elements learned from the Ford 385 series engine and the Boss 302, particularly the poly-angle combustion chambers with canted valves and the thin-wall casting technology. Options include: Power Steering,Power Brakes, Rally Wheels, AM/FM Radio w CD, Vinyl interior, radial tires. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833!

1972 Ford Mustang

1972 Ford Mustang

Engine: 351 CID Cleveland V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 66,619 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW Showroom is this 1972 Ford Mustang. The 1972 Ford Mustangs changed very little from the 1971 models, except the Boss 351 did not return for a second year. Outside of red/white and blue color schemes, the only obvious difference was the Mustang name on the rear was now smaller and on the right side, instead of across the center. This 1972 Mustang began life as a Grande version, but has been converted over time. It is powered by a strong number’s matching 351 Cleveland with an FMX Auto transmission. The engine has been rebuilt, which the owner added a new intake and carburetor at this time. It has only approximately 2,500 miles since the rebuild. Other things updated by the owner include: Petronics electronic ignition installed with a new grab a track front suspension kit and steering kit. Also new is the following: -brake lines, rotors, calipers-on front, drum-lines, headliner, carpet, dash-pads, deluxe door panels, shock absorbers, classic air conditioning system, radiator, belt, hoses, chrome-front and rear bumpers, windshield trim, mustang badges, door weather stripping & trunk seal. With all that being done, this vehicle is ready to hit the road and take someone for an awesome cruise. Will that be you? 1970 Ford Mustang

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: C4 Automatic
Mileage: 77,270 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. The Fastback Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of the muscle car era. Its slick styling and great color combinations make these cars highly sought after. This example has had a partial restoration with the Grabber Green paint being the star of the show. The car came from the factory that bright green with the black accents added during the build. The hood scoop is reminiscent of the Boss’s and really grab a ton of attention. Underneath that hood is a respectable 302 that sounds as good as the car looks. Mated up to a C4 transmission that was recently rebuilt using an upgraded shift kit and 2300 flash stall this Pony is ready to run. With the Pony’s ability to get up to speed taken care of the slowing down part was the next part to be addressed. With all new lines, disc on the front and drums on the rear stopping this fastback is as simple as hitting the pedal. Completing the mechanical side of things was the suspension which had the following components replaced, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks allowing for a rather plush ride. Open the door and a fresh interior jumps right out at you. The new seat covers look great while the new foam keeps everyone riding in comfort. The new headliner looks great while the dash cover ties it all together. The new carpet seals the deal and completes a very fresh interior. If you have been wanting one of the most iconic cars of the era painted in one of the most iconic colors this 70 Fastback is exactly that. Options on this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. 1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon

1963 Ford Fairlane Drag Wagon

Engine: 427 CID V8 425HP
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,561 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this stunning 1963 Ford Fairlane. The Ford Fairlane is an automobile model that was sold between 1955 and 1970 by Ford in North America. The name is derived from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, near Dearborn, Michigan. This 1963 Ford Fairlane wagon has been a drag racer in the Pacific Northwest for many years. We have seen many Thunderbolt clones, but never one based on a wagon, and this one is even better because it has real history. It has a modernized engine, yet the exterior retains older paint and graphics. Fantastic! The car sits right and the staggered steel wheels with long Moroso studs, which cannot be beat. The rear suspension and wide 11.5? Mickeys are nicely tucked underneath and don’t really hint at their increased capability. The red interior offers a nice contrast and doesn’t dig the Sun sweep tachometer on the dash and the roll-bar that extends back into the cargo area. The stock bench and steering wheel look great! The engine is the best part of the car and sets it apart from the small blocks we typically seen in wannabe T-bolts and Fairlane drivers. It combines a 390 block with a 428 SCJ crank to displace 423 cubic inches. It apparently wears twin 600 CFM carbs under a proper looking airbox and T-bolt headlight duct system. The transmission is a built C6. If you’re ready to stand out in a crowd or simply haul “butt” away from them, this is the vehicle for you! To view this in 1963 Ford Fairlane, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
