Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria. The 1955 Crown Victoria or Vicky was direct competition to Chevy’s now Iconic Bel Air model. The Crown Victoria would have a very distinct chrome B pillar that ran from one side of the car to the other making it stand out in a crowded marketplace. This 55 Vicky has been brought back to life with full restoration performed a little over 6900 miles car. The red paint is classic Americana with the white accent color making the red look that much redder. All the chrome on the car was either buffed or replaced during the restoration giving it a luster that only these cars can produce. Those big white wall tires look great on the car being Under the hood is the original 272 engine which starts right up without any fuss. The Offenhauser valve covers are a nice touch and add a little extra flare to the engine bay. The exhaust manifolds are running directly to those classic and cool side pipes that are 100% functional and give the car that old school hotrod sound. The cruise-o-matic transmission shifts out nicely and allows for a much more soothing drive than the old three on tree that most of these had. Inside is like a time capsule with the interior being exactly what you would see in 1955. The red and white bring the exterior inside and remind you why these cars are still sought after 60 years later. If you have been wanting a great American classic that is just a little different this Vicky is the perfect fit. Options on this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria include, AM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, and Bias Ply Wide White Wall tires. This 1955 Ford Crown Victoria is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. We are excited to offer for sale in our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this beautiful Golden Rod Yellow 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This Amos Minter (of Minter’s Thunderbird in Dallas) restored 55’ T-Bird looks absolutely fantastic. Open the hood and you will see the original 292 CID 4BBL V8 engine that was rebuilt and restored to like new condition. The Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was also rebuilt and shifts beautifully. The black and yellow interior shows very well with very little signs of usage. The 6-volt system is gone, in its place is a more modern and preferred 12-volt system. The rarely seen Golden Rod Yellow paint shines beautifully and stands proud against the gleaming brightwork on this 55’ T-Bird. The underside is just as clean and shows the detail of this quality restoration. The hard top is painted to match the body, while the soft top is black vinyl. You have the possibility of 3 different looks, yellow hard top, black vinyl top, or no top at all! Mileage: 72,566 ( undocumented )

Thank you for your interest in this sharp 1955 Ford Thunderbird presented by Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa. One of the most beautiful pieces of Americana, they were considered to be direct competition to the Chevrolet Corvette. Helping spawn a new generation of automobiles in the United States, and aimed to take on the European market, the Ford Thunderbird was powered by a 292 CID V8, which gave the already smaller, lighter car the power it needed to make for both an excellent road racer as well as the perfect car for older couples to sit back and enjoy a movie at the drive-in. Mated to the engine is a 2-speed automatic transmission, which allowed the car for fairly smooth shifting, but in the higher gear allowed the vehicle to cruise at highway speeds without drinking too much gas. The interior of this car is a beautiful red and white two tone seating, with red carpets throughout. The hard-top is painted in white to give the car a two-tone look. Take the top off to enjoy the beautiful weather in absolute style! The exterior is painted to match the interior, with a stunning bright red paint job with a new black top that really gives the car a high quality 1950's kind of feel. Driving a 1955 Ford Thunderbird is truly an experience one simply cannot explain, these cars are the truest form of Americana one can find. Options include AM Radio, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Wide White Walls, Wire Wheels, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Power seat.
