This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 65 Mustang was the car that started the pony car rage in the mid-sixties. Young consumers were making more money than ever before, and they wanted something to show off their new-found wealth, enter the 65 Mustang. A car based primarily on the falcon with much better lines and a heavy marketing campaign the Mustang would become a timely classic. This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible is a notable example of why these cars are still so popular today. The blue paint is a factory color and shows off the cars slick body work. The white vinyl convertible top is clean and the perfect contrast to that blue paint. Under the hood is a period correct 289 that was gone through and installed during the restoration. The 4 Barrel carb gives it plenty of power while keeping the car true to its roots. The C4 transmission shifts out nicely and keeps with the cruising style of this droptop. The interior is clean and what you would expect to see in a 65 Mustang with a set of buckets upfront. The automatic shifter sits nestled in the console giving it a sporty feel. The dealer installed style AC is a welcomed addition to this drop top giving you the option to stay cool when stopped while the top is down. With the restoration being completed just 3 years ago but like so many of these cars they never had the chance to truly enjoy it. If you have been wanting a great classic droptop that drives as good as it looks this classic is for you. Options on this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible, Air Conditioning, AM/FM, Power Top, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, and Radial Tires wrapped on Mag Wheels.
