This 1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 HO is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Firebird was Pontiac’s answer to the original Pony car, ford’s Mustang. Based off the Camaro the Firebird had more chrome and a nicer interior just like all Pontiac’s of the time. This wonderfully restored Firebird is a notable example of what you got back in 68 for a mere 3000 dollars. The chrome bumpers are in excellent condition with a great shine and the front one having that classic split look. The paint on the car has been put back to the original Alpine blue but with the base coat clear coat system giving it a ton more depth. Under the hood of this beauty is the original 350 HO engine that runs like just like it should. A stout and street friendly 320 HP are sure to get this Bird flying down the road. The original 3 speed manual transmission is original to the car and shifts through the gears with out any hang ups. The black interior is fresh and clean with the bucket seats giving it that classic sporty feel. The console mounted shifter is in just the right spot and makes shifting a breeze. The wood accented center console is a nice touch and gives the Firebird a classy feel. With the first Gen Camaro’s being what people are used to seeing this 68 Bird is a terrific way to get that classic GM Pony car without being like everyone else. Options on this 1968 Pontiac Firebird 350 HO include; AM Radio, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. For more details on this 1970 Ford Mustang, please call our Louisville Showroom at 812-294-1555, or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com.
