Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this custom 1955 Chevrolet 210 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The custom Tri-Five world is on fire right now. With builds getting more and more outrageous it’s nothing to see these cars bringing 150000 USD and up. This example has the 6-figure build look just not the price. This 55 sits on a full custom frame that has been made specifically for it. The car now has coil overs on all four corners allowing to customize the ride quality to your liking. The disc brake conversion is one of the best kits available that not only looks great but stops this steel car on a dime. With the rolling chassis taken care the next step would be getting the car ready to sit down on that frame. The paint was applied first with the orange pearl laid on the main body and the pearl light silver metallic making a great contrast you are guaranteed to get nothing but thumbs up in this beauty. Under that stunning orange hood is a 383 stroker motor with only 3800 miles that puts out plenty of power. The built TH350 trans shifts out nicely and handles the power just fine. With the rear-end having a pretty tall gear highway driving can be done with no worries of wrapping up the engine. Inside the leather interior is as comfortable as the lazy boy in your den. The brown goes well with the overall theme but the thing most people notice is the trim. With an absolute ton chrome or polished steel, the inside shines like a new penny. Peak through the steering wheel and you will see a custom gauge pod that has all the vitals right there. If you have been wanting a great 55 that rides as good as it looks this orange dream is the perfect match. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet 210 include, AM/FM Stereo, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

Engine: Supercharged V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 3500 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is honored to have this incredible 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air listed for sale. Modifying any Tri-Five Chevy is sure to upset some purists, but it's hard to find any faults with the work done to this beauty. Having undergone a complete frame-off restoration, the heart of this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a supercharged 454 CID V8. This 1990 marine high-performance big block engine was line honed, decked and balanced, and it was extensively upgraded with J-E Pistons, Speed Pro Plasma-Moly Rings, Eagle Rods, Comp Cams Pure Energy Camshaft, Comp Cams Magnum Roller Rocker Arms, Crane Roller Lifters and an MSD ignition system including high torque starter, distributor, coil and cap. This engine mates to a TH400 Turbo 400 with Gear Vendor Under/Over drive, a TCI 2500 Stall Converter and a Hurst shifter. This power is sent to the rear wheel through a nine-inch Ford rear end that has been shortened by eight inches for the mini tubs, and overall performance and handling has been optimized with tubular steel A-arms, Hotchkiss dropped spindles and four-wheel disc brakes. And that's just the performance side of this car. The body is straight and was given a rich, custom black-over-burgundy paint job with beautiful chrome and 15-inch Center Line wheels. To maintain the stock look of this car, the blown big block is mounted 6.5 inches lower and moved back a full eight inches to accommodate the blower without requiring any changes to the hood. Even the inside received a custom touch replacing the standard '55 interior with a leather-wrapped cabin out of a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air include air conditioning, AM/FM radio, cassette, power brakes, power steering, power seats, tilt steering wheel, seat belts, leather interior, aluminum alloy wheels and radial tires. Engine: 355 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1200 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston now has a beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air available for sale. This car is finished in a gorgeous turquoise/white exterior with a black vinyl interior. This Bel-Air packs a punch with it’s 355 CID V8 engine that goes through an automatic transmission to a Ford 9” posi with 3.73 gears. The car was rebuilt by Chris Car Doc of Humble TX and has only covered about 600 miles since then. The craftsmanship on this car is stunning. 1955 was the first year for the second generation of Bel-Air. 1955 was also the year for Bill Haley and His Comets to release “Rock Around The Clock” and Lady and the Tramp was first showing in theaters! For 1955, Chevrolet's full-size model received all new styling and power. The 1955 Bel Air was 3,456 lb (1,568 kg) and 15 ft (4.6 m) long. It was called the "Hot One" in GM's advertising campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp, clean and incorporated a Ferrari-inspired grille. Bel Airs came with features found on cars in the lower models ranges plus interior carpet, chrome headliner bands on hardtops, chrome spears on front fenders, stainless steel window moldings,[1] and full wheel covers. Models were further distinguished by the Bel Air name script in gold lettering later in the year. This car is equipped with A/C, AM/FM radio, cassette, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, vinyl interior radial tires and alloy wheels. You will find it difficult to find a nicer Bel-Air. Call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220 for more information on this vehicle. 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

Engine: LS7 (427)
Transmission: 4L60E
Mileage: 126 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this unbelievably custom 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. The 55 Chevy Bel-Air is arguably one of the best-looking cars ever built. There clean lines and finless design make them great candidates for full on custom builds. Art Morrison started out building frames for tubbed out drag cars in the 70’s and 80’s but the company really took off when he began building his line of pro-touring chassis’. This 55 is sitting on one of his custom-built frames which not only looks good but increases the handling of the car dramatically. Finished off in the same Erica red paint as the body making the transition from floor pan to frame almost seamless. With touches of chrome here and there to break it up you can tell this was a well thought out build. The stance of the car was also dramatically changed due to the chassis as well with it sitting much lower than a stock 55. The wheels will be the next thing you notice with the set consisting of 18’s in the front and 20’s in the back giving the car that aggressive look. Behind those wheels are a set of chrome plated calipers that blend nicely while the cross-drilled and slotted rotors show people you mean business. Under that silky-smooth hood is was most consider the Mecca of LS powerplants. This LS7 has been built with a mild cam giving it a nice lope at idle but the real work is in the details. The intake has been painted to match with the custom firewall being cleaned up which flows into the custom inner fender wells. A custom piece of metal was formed to cover up the radiator as well making this engine bay look seamless like the rest of the car. Putting power to the road is a built 4l60 transmission giving you the capability to drive this beauty down the freeway comfortably at highway speeds. Inside the custom touches are extensive with the dash being made from one piece of metal as well. The gauges and AC vents are molded into that custom dash as well keeping with that flowing design. The leather wrapped seats are extremely comfortable while the Lokar shifter sits perfectly in the custom-made console. With this car being a fresh build and never shown to the public this beauty is guaranteed to collect a whole room of trophies or do what this car was intended to do Drive It! Options on this 1955 Custom Chevrolet Bel Air include, AC, AM/FM, Power Windows, Power Steering, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires.
