Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this true S code 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GTA is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1967 Fastback Mustang is one of the most highly sought-after pony cars period. Rather it be a 6 cylinder or a S code 390 like this beauty their good looks speak for themselves. This rotisserie restored 67 Fastback is one of the best-looking ones I have seen. Finished 3 years ago and only showing 967 miles on the custom gauges this 67 is ready to be driven. The black paint is of high quality with the red GTA striping appearing as if it is jumping off the car. The chrome accents look especially shiny while making that black look that much deeper. Those torque thrust wheels are the perfect complement to the black and chrome while giving it an updated look. As you peer through the front set you notice this car does have disc on the front giving it plenty of reliable stopping power. Born a 390 from the factory this Pony was born more of thoroughbred if you will. Though not believed to be the original engine it is a real deal 67 390 engine and it runs like one. Upgraded with a simple MSD ignition this FE big block fires right up with better throttle response than your typical 67 ignition systems. The C6 transmission shifts out nicely with second gear being an absolute monster in this it gives a whole new meaning to fastback. Inside the red interior is in beautiful condition and really sets the car apart. The original gauge cluster has been fitted with a set of custom dolphin gauges that really give the interior a clean update. The fold down or sport deck rear seat is a cool option and one that is not only sought after but extremely useful. All in all, this must be one of the nicest looking cars that I have seen. If you have been looking for the classic all American Pony car this is the one. Options on this 1967 S code Ford Mustang GT include, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels with Radial Tires. 1967 Ford Mustang

1967 Ford Mustang

Engine: 289 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 30,082 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this quintessential example of a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe! The Ford Mustang was introduced unto the world on April 17th, 1964. The Mustang, conceptualized from the already popular Ford Falcon, provided the American working-class with a chance to own a modest sports car with a modest price tag, all without sacrificing overall enjoyment or amenities. Shortly after beginning production in mid-1964, the Mustang underwent extreme body modifications every couple of years, the first small tweak is seen here with this 1967. The 1967 and 1968 models were elongated by a few inches, with modifications to the car taking place in the front nose, as well as the sharpening of the body lines along the sides, while the rear taillight panel would now present itself with an indention, rather than a protrusion. Smaller, underpowered 8 cylinder motors were now offered with larger displacement than the first two production years, as well as more horsepower, and more amenities (such as back up lights). Upon decoding the VIN and datacode plate, we find that this particular C-Code 1967 (original 289cid v8 2bbl) was birthed in the San Jose plant before being shipped to Seattle for sale. An additional comfort that we find in this decoding of the Mustang is that this 1967 was Candy Apple Red from the factory, as well as adorned with black buckets, making her trim-code matching and very period-correct. 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible

1968 Ford Mustang Convertible

Engine: 289 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 63,984 ( undocumented )

This good looking 1968 Ford Mustang convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. The 1967 model year Mustang was the first redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success, and while "Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth, he did oversee the redesign for 1967. The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967 model) and chrome (1968 model) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. This convertible comes with the venerable 289 CID V8 engine with a C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The car may have been repainted at some time, but the original color is Lime Gold (Code I) and the current owner has had the car for over 15 years. The exterior has been finished with a nice set of factory rally wheels. It gives this a convertible just a little bit sportier look. The interior is Ivy Gold vinyl (Code 2G) and looks to be in very good shape. The black convertible top is in good condition and with a little care will last for years to come. If you’re looking for a nice week end cruiser for some top down fun in the fun, call before this little gem is scooped by another Mustang fanatic. Options for this 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible include; Power convertible Top, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Raised White Letter Radial tires. The sole engine of the Thunderbird was a Jaguar-designed AJ-30 3.9 L DOHC V8, a short-stroke variant of the Jaguar AJ-26 4.0 L V8, making 252 horsepower and 267 lb·ft of torque. The engine was mated to Ford's 5R55N 5-speed automatic transmission. This particular 2002 Ford Thunderbird is just what you have been looking for. It only has 39,800 odometer miles and exterior body doesn't have any scratches, dents, or imperfections. The chromes wheels have not been damaged by curbside parking. One of the most attractive features about the 11th generation Thunderbird is the round rear window (blind spot issues aside). The removeable hardtop on this Thunderbird is in impeccable condition. The interior condition matches the appearance of low usage that the exterior has. The leather seats do not show any excessive wear, the dash looks great, all the gauges and instruments function as new, and there are no noticeable scratches, tears or odors. The convertible top is clean and closes tight. Mechanically, as you can see and hear in the video, this 2002 Ford Thunderbird has all the power and ambition it had as when it first rolled off the assembly line. It runs smooths, changes gears seamlessly, and has a great turn radius. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 2002 Ford Thunderbird by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
