Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S-Code. The 1967 Mustang Fastback has gone down as one of the must iconic cars of its era. The sweeping lines and big block engines available only make these cars more desirable and the reason they still bring premium money today. This example left the factory, as verified by the Mart report, with a 390 under the hood also known as an s-code. Taken done and built form the ground up the car is now packing a bored and stroked 390 with a total displacement of 445 cubic inches now giving this car a whole new level of power. Taken from a 69 T-Bird the motor now only has 500 miles on it since it was installed. The built c6 transmission handles all that power nicely shifting through all 3 gears without hesitation. The Ford 9-inch rear end has a 3.25 gear set making the car a pleasure to drive on the back roads and good enough to cruise down the highway. With the posi traction allowing for both rear wheels to lay down rubber at will. With the Grab-a-trac suspension gone through and rebuilt the car handles as if it was racing down the road in 1967. The upgraded Wilwood disc brakes bring this Pony to screeching holt just in case you right foot becomes a little too heavy. The paint on the car is slick and been taken back its original red with the base coat clear coat giving it an even deeper look. The ram air hood lets everyone know that this isn’t your average pony especially with the rumbling from that stroked out big block under the hood. A look inside shows that the original style parchment interior has been used giving the car that factory look. The magnum 500 wheels finish the car off nicely and were one the best wheels to leave the factory. If you have been wanting a great S-Code but a with a little more oomph this red rocket should do the trick. Options on this 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback S code include, AC, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior and Magnum 500 Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. This 1967 Mustang for sale is looking sharp all dressed up in her red paint with white racing stripes. Adding to the red of this car is red vinyl and carpet in the interior and under the hood is where your friend will start seeing red as nestled in the narrow valley between the shock towers is a Ford 390 Cubic inch FE Big block power plant! Now I could have used the term “engine” or maybe “Mill” perhaps, but Power plant works best with 390 FE Ford. Sitting on top of this torque monster is a Holley® 4 barrel Carburetor to keep the energy fed to the thirst FE and giving you the instant throttle response that we all love. Backing this combo is the hardy C6 3 speed automatic transmission to give you tire shredding launches and still keep the rpms low on the interstate. This S code 1967 Mustang for sale was well equipped with it left the factory 51 Years ago, some of the options that stand out are Air conditioning and power steering! This classic pony car was one of the first to usher in the small car, big engine idea that helped a lot of us fall in love with cars. This little ’67 Mustang for sale has one more added bonus, the owner states that it has an incredible low, 56,786 miles on it! If I had purchased this car in 1967, I would have added that number to the odometer before heading home with the car. If you have always wanted one of these original sleepers, now is your chance, do not pass it by as “S” Code 1967’s don’t pop up for sale everyday.Options for this 1967 Mustang for sale include: Air Condition ( currently not blowing cold ) AM/FM Cd player, Power steering, Vinyl interior and American Racing® 5 spoke rims. Engine: 428 Big Block
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 184 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this excellent 1968 Ford Mustang GT. The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power. The 1971 model saw a drastic redesign to its predecessors. After an initial surge, sales were steadily declining, as Ford began working on a new generation Mustang. With the onset of the 1973 oil crisis, Ford was prepared, having already designed the smaller Mustang II for the 1974 model year. This new car had no common components with preceding models. This car has recently finished its restoration with only 185 miles since being a finished project. The car originally came from California and is an actual GT from the factory. It has been repainted to the Highland Green with a stylish black stripe painted on the hood. This car has had the original set up and 302 replaced with a 428, 4 speed manual, Ford 9” rear end, and has a 3.73 gearing. The Ram Air hood is functional and adds an aggressive stylish look to this 1st generation Mustang GT. This GT has many upgrades including a digital dash, custom wheels, and even comes with a Marti Report. The suspension has been lowered with Shelby suspension for a more aggressive look. If you want to add something light, fast, with a professional quality build than this is the Gen 1 Mustang for you.
