This awesome 1953 Ford F100 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The F series truck has been one of the most iconic American vehicles ever built. If you want to get technical about it the introduction of the F-100 in 1953 is really the ones that put an exclamation point on that statement. Designed with the consumer in mind the cab now had a full 5 ft of space. The wrap around windshield not only looked great but gave the driver a better unobstructed view. Over the years these trucks have lent themselves to customizers making for a great canvas to add their personal touches to. This example has had extensive work performed transforming it into the custom you see today. The most notable of this work ahs to be the paint. Using a house of color pearl white for the base the paint is slick and show worthy. The flake adds to the custom look and is what you would see on show trucks of the late 60’s. The airbrushed design is reminiscent of Larry Watson’s style and is as custom as they come. Under the hood is a small block 350 that was purchased new when the truck was built. The chrome dress-up kit looks great with the chrome valve covers going nicely with the air cleaner. Bought new with the engine the TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with smooth shifts through all 3 gears. The belly burner exhaust is unique and something that was done back in the late 60’ and early 70’s keeping with that classic custom theme. The running boards have been done in vinyl and match the exterior styling which has been carried on to the inside. The bench seat has been covered in that same vinyl along with the door panels which ties the whole truck together. If you have been looking for a truck that appears to be straight out of the 60’s this one off custom has your name all over it. Options on this custom 1953 Ford F100 include Vinyl Interior, and White Wall Bias Ply Tires on Chrome Wheels. Located in our Louisville Showroom, this one off 1953 Ford F100 can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 292 V8Transmission: AutomaticMileage: 88,393 ( undocumented )
We are very proud to offer for sale at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this stunning 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This is a great example of a very well restored 1st year Thunderbird. The smooth running 292 fires right up and idles smoothly. Equipment includes Power steering, Power brakes and Power windows. It is painted in an eye catching red over two tone red and white interior with a matching red hard top. Adding to the pop and shimmer is a set of radial wide white wall tires wrapped around a set of wire wheel hub caps for a very classy look. Power from the 292 is sent through a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The odometer is showing 88,393 with roughly 3,000 since the rebuild. The Thunderbird was Ford’s answer to the Corvette and they ended up selling 23 of them to every Corvette in 1955. This almost put an end to the Corvette until the Thunderbird went another route in 1958 and leaned more towards the luxury market by adding a couple of more seats. The first-generation Thunderbird will always be a recognizable car and who can forget Suzanne Sommers driving a white T-Bird in American Graffiti? Engine: 292 V8Transmission: 3-speed Over-DriveMileage: 68,313 ( undocumented )
We are happy to offer for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in our Saint Louis this 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This first year Thunderbird is painted in a rare Goldenrod Yellow with a white soft top, white hardtop with black and white two-toned interior. Power comes from a 292-cubic inch V8, the only available engine for 1955. This one is equipped with a manual 3 speed transmission and optional over drive. The over drive is a neat unit. Once in 3rd gear and youre ready, pull the T handle beneath the dash and you're in! Other equipment includes power seats, wide white wall radial tires and a white hardtop. To add some personal touches, the previous owner decided to paint the hard-top white as opposed to keeping it body color as the factory would have painted it. The soft top is also white which would have been black fabric from the factory. These personal touches give the car a unique look and help it stand out from other '55 Thunderbirds. This is easily reversible if someone chooses. Recent maintenance includes new tires, new clutch and a rebuilt carburetor. In 1955 Ford introduced the Thunderbird to knock a dent into Corvette sales. Ford accomplished this with flying colors. 1955 Corvette production reached 700 units compared to Ford's whopping 16,155! Chevrolet needed some serious help if they were going to save the Corvette. Eventually Ford decided to lean more towards the luxury side and away from the performance side that the Corvette was pursuing. The Thunderbird has had a long and interesting run over the years. However, there's no mistaking the first run of the 1955 through 1957 T-Birds. They are the most collectible of any Thunderbird and will always be the most collectible. These hard and soft top equipped Thunderbirds are very cool, giving you the coupe and convertible feel all in one car. Call our St. Louis showroom for more information on this early T-bird at 618-271-3000 or email STL@gatewayclassiccars.com. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this 1955 iconic Ford Thunderbird! The Thunderbird was considered a more dignified, personal luxury cruiser during its release. It had roll-up windows and standard V-8 power, both things that were not available on the first Corvettes in the 50’s. Other features included a removable fiberglass top, a fabric convertible top, and fender skirts for the rear wheels. There was one engine for the first 1955 T-Birds, and it was the 292 cid Y-Block V-8 fitted with a single four-barrel carburetor. With the standard 3-speed manual transmission, this engine made 193 horsepower, and with the optional Ford-o-Matic transmission, it made 198 horses. The exhaust pipes for the Thunderbird were integrated into the rear fascia and above the rear bumper, giving it an unmistakable Jet-Age look. This Thunderbird has a production date of, October 23rd-1954 and is one of the first 500 Thunderbirds manufactured! It still has the original 292 cu in Y-block V8 with a 3-speed manual, plus overdrive transmission. We are excited to offer for sale in our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this beautiful Golden Rod Yellow 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This Amos Minter (of Minter’s Thunderbird in Dallas) restored 55’ T-Bird looks absolutely fantastic. Open the hood and you will see the original 292 CID 4BBL V8 engine that was rebuilt and restored to like new condition. The Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was also rebuilt and shifts beautifully. The black and yellow interior shows very well with very little signs of usage. This is a highly optioned interior including the 4-way power seat and telescopic steering wheel. The AM radio and gauges were all rebuilt and function as they should. The 6-volt system is gone, in its place is a more modern and preferred 12-volt system. The rarely seen Golden Rod Yellow paint shines beautifully and stands proud against the gleaming brightwork on this 55’ T-Bird. The underside is just as clean and shows the detail of this quality restoration. The hard top is painted to match the body, while the soft top is black vinyl. You have the possibility of 3 different looks, yellow hard top, black vinyl top, or no top at all! Got Milk? Up for sale in the Atlanta showroom is a 1952 Ford Panel Truck. Very original except for the sculpted carpet in the back, recently shampooed, smells nice. Built for service, panel trucks filled the need for milk delivery, (glass bottles in 1952), ice cream, and any number of goods needing an enclosed platform. Well this Panel Truck for sale is no exception. There is no telling what has been in this truck but we’re pretty sure that this truck made a smooth transition into the sixties and seventies as the choice mode of transportation for followers of the flower power movement. Now widely used as a Hot Rod platform or in many instances, advertising. This is a great example of a truck that is poised to return to glory either in an original restored condition or whatever you desire. Maybe some flames. Regardless of your plans, this truck for sale is very solid rust-free candidate for restoration. To view the truck in greater detail with over 100 HD photos and a running driving video visit us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the showroom at 678-894-4833

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this 1965 Ford Mustang. This Mustang has had a little work since it came of the assembly in ’65. The great black on black color combination is a great look for these first generation Mustangs. Inside you are greeted by a clean black leather interior with a custom center console and 2 added cup holders. It has an aftermarket radio hooked up to two speakers near the rear window. Outside is the nice shiny black paint that has just recently been buffed and waxed. Under the hood the original 289 V8 has been replaced by a 351 Windsor V8 that fires up with a simple turn of the key, and is attached to an automatic four speed transmission. The front headlights have added LED Angel eyes around the headlights and the rear brake and turn signals have also been upgraded to LED. It sits on 14 inch aluminum American Racing wheels. Fire up this bad boy and let the dual exhaust engine produce all the toons you need. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this luxurious 1972 Ford LTD. LTD’s are great mixture of luxury, comfort, & power, which was the goal when introduced by Ford all the way back in 1965. This is because it has enough room to seat 5-6 comfortably, yet still enough power to zip around. 1972 models were virtually the same as the '71s, although the bumper now stretched across the lower section of the grille. A new rear bumper integrated the taillights; also, in the rear, the design of the trunk lid was squared off. Due to decreased demand in the segment, 1972 was the final model year for the LTD convertible. This LTD is painted a beautiful baby-blue, with an original top, which remains in very good shape, especially when you consider its age. The interior also appears to be original cloth in good shape, with paisley designs on the lower-half, which was very popular choice back in the early-mid 70’s. All this is powered around by 400-V8 2 Barrel motor/ 3-speed automatic, that gives you plenty of power to haul around a full set of passengers or speed around alone. Finally, my favorite part to this vehicle, as all this sets on fancy set of white-wall tires and Ford Motor Company wheels, with a crown in the center, marking this vehicle is fit for a King or Queen. Is that you? For additional information on this 1972 Ford LTD, email us at email@example.com or call 817-310-9400.
