This awesome 1963 Dodge 330 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 330 was Dodge’s full-size car for 62-64 and was based on the B-body. Available with anything from the slant six to the monstrous 426 there was a 330 to fit anyone’s needs. The one that garnered the most attention was of course the Max Wedge. A monstrous 426 cubic with a cross ram style intake and 2 4 barrels sitting on top it was intimidating just to look at. Made in very limited numbers they are prized and sought after today. This beauty is one of those sought-after cars making it an extremely rare find. The engine powering this full on drag car is a 440 with wedge heads and that sought after cross ram intake. Built using a 1967 440 Block this engine is putting out quite a bit more power than the original one. The 426 Ramcharger heads have been worked over giving this beast an unbelievable amount of torque. The 727 Torque flight transmission has been built to handle all that power and still retains the push button transmission. The Dana 60 rear end has been stuffed with a set of 5.13 gears allowing for unbelievable off the line acceleration. With the spool locking up both axles this car was built to go straight. The huge 32 15 Goodyear slicks are exactly what you need to get this monster to hook up. The car has had one repaint back to its original red color and even though it was 40 years ago it still shows very well. The fiberglass rear bumper helps to shave some weight off while retaining the factory look. Inside is what you would expect in a drag car with just a seat for the driver. The cage while built for safety also makes the car more ridged. The Lexan windows are fixed in place and help to shave weight. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool 1964 Dodge Polara. The Dodge Polara was an automobile introduced in the United States for the 1960 model year as Dodge's top-of-the-line full-size car; after the introduction of the Dodge Custom 880 in 1962, the Polara nameplate designated a step below the full sized best trimmed Dodge model; the Polara that year had been downsized to what was in effect intermediate, or mid-size status. In its various forms, the Polara name was used by Dodge until 1973, when its position in Dodge's line-up was replaced by the Dodge Monaco. The name Polara is a reference to the Polaris star, in a marketing attempt to appeal to the excitement surrounding the Space Race during the early 1960s. The Polara was a competitor to the Ford Galaxie 500 and the Chevrolet Impala. The 1964 models received a revised front end and new tail lamps to distinguish them from the 1963 cars. Rear end treatment took its inspiration from the Chevrolet Impala, the Polara models now featuring six small, square-shaped taillights (three on each side) surrounded by an attractive bright trim panel. Lesser mid-size Dodges featured only four taillights (two on each side) and lacked the bright trim panel. A sensational new "C" pillar for the hardtop coupes, combined with the more attractive front and rear end styling, made the '64s look totally new (and longer/ lower/wider as well), resulting in a significant increase of sales over 1963. The Polara 500 continued as Dodge's sporty mid-size model, competing with the full-size Ford Galaxie 500/XL and Chevrolet's Impala Super Sport, featuring an engine-turned anodized aluminum trim strip along the car's flanks, bucket seats and deluxe vinyl upholstery. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a rare 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible. Only 628 Coronet R/T convertibles were produced by Dodge in 1967. They were available with either a 440 Magnum V8 or a 426 Hemi V8 engine, they were equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission or a 3-speed automatic transmission (727 Torqueflite). The Hemi powered Coronet Convertibles being extremely rare, with a total of only 6 known to exist. This particular 67’ Coronet is an actual R/T convertible and was born with a 440 Magnum. The current 440 Magnum V8 powering this 67’ Coronet is not the original numbers matching engine, but it is period correct. A 727 Torqueflite transmission transfers the power to the rear end with ease. The trim tag indicates that Dark Red Metallic was the original color for this Coronet R/T, The car has been resprayed over the years, at one point it was believed to have been teal, but all is right with the world again, as it is back to the original color. The black vinyl interior features bucket seats, console, and console mounted shifter. The Mopar rally wheels are wrapped in raised white letter radial tires that provide an awesome stance and complete the classic muscle car look. With options like power steering, power brakes, and automatic power top this 67’ Coronet R/T Convertible is a must have for any Mopar enthusiasts. The odometer reads 45,009, but the actual mileage is unknown. For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1959 Dodge D-100. From 1957 to 1959, Dodge proposed the Sweptside pickup, a rival to the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, but it never became a best-seller. A flat-sided (and thus wider) "Sweptline" cargo box came in 1959. The company also adopted the standard pickup truck numbering scheme, also used by Ford and GM at that time. Thus, the ½ ton Dodge was now called the D100. A traditional separate-fender body "Utiline" version was also built which had a GVWR of 9,000 lb (4,100 kg). The D-100 was considered a workings man’s truck back in the day. It’s somewhat of a rarity to locate these in good shape because of this. However, this owner has been able to do just that. This 1959 is only a 2-OWNER vehicle! That’s right, just 2 owners throughout its lifetime! This vehicle was bought and owned by a gentleman in California way back in 1959 (Owner provided original bill of sale). He held on to it and used this vehicle all the way up until about 2 years ago, when it was then purchased by the present owner today. The original owner loved this truck so much, he gave it a front/back full restoration (approximately 2006) a few years before selling this vehicle. Restoring it back to the shape he had previously purchased/received it in 1959. This vehicle is powered by a 318 V-8 engine and 4- speed transmission. Other eye-catching features include: Very clean interior, old school air-vent in the cab, chrome grill/hubcaps highlighting the word “Dodge” on each (No mistaking this one for a Chevy) & in my opinion, a beautiful looking woodgrain bed laid throughout. This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. Equipped with the standard 383-2V CID V8 putting out 305 HP and a Torqueflite transmission, this combo is easy to maintain, repair, and get parts for. The car was originally white and was re-painted the same color in the year 2000. The current owner has had the privilege of being this Polara's caretaker for almost 18 years, and the love and respect he has for the car is obvious. Options like hang-on AC, cruise control, power steering, and the early-style 15" American Racing wheels make you think it's the mid-sixties again. To continue that vibe, the owner has an aluminum Weiand four barrel intake manifold and a Holley four barrel carburetor he'll include with the car for the new owner. The tastefully restored red vinyl interior also has added seat belts, but still retains the original carpeting in the "salt and pepper" style pattern that is not being reproduced, so to see it in this original condition is very unusual. Make no mistake; this car has not been restored, only well-maintained throughout it's 55 years since it left the factory. It has a new radiator, water pump, belts, hoses, and tires, all replaced when required. This car runs as good as it looks, offering the new owner a vehicle you won't see at every car show that will get you there and home in reliable comfort. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a fire breathing 2005 Dodge SRT 10 crew cab pick up. Power for this venomous 1500 comes from the Dodge Viper in V10 form. Stock, these trucks were not to mess with because they're equipped with 500 horsepower. However, this one is not stock. The heads were pulled, a thinner head gasket installed for a small bump in compression, new MOPAR slow bleed lifters, new pushrods, valve springs, new camshaft, Screamin Demon coils, wires and an ARP head stud kit. If that isn't enough, there's also a 150 shot of nitrous oxide ready to make this into a 600+ horsepower animal, or should I say reptile. Crew cab form allows you take a few more passengers that are brave enough to ride in this overpowered Super truck. Shifting is smooth and precise in automatic form. The transmission has also been tweaked with some go fast goodies. A 3,000 stall convertor, triple disc billet torque converter with billet solenoids. There's also a one piece aluminum driveshaft to help reduce drivetrain weight that sends power back to a Dana Super 70 with 4.56 gears, Cal Tracs traction system, headers with 3 inch stainless exhaust and 3 inch catless mid pipe all into a Magna Flow muffler. Due to the lack of a catalytic converter, you should check your local emission's laws for legality. This Viper powered truck isn't just about power, cosmetics were also tended to and include powder coated wheels, painted front splitter with four struts, Candy Apple Brandywine stripes with ghost Viper emblems, all clear coated for long lasting pizazz. Under the hood is more and includes powder coated valve covers, Overflow tanks, A/C condenser brackets, fuse box and radiator covers.
