This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 65 Fastback was an instant success as soon as it went on sale. With the know how of a guy named Carrol Shelby the car would be great track weapon and helped to propel the fastback to legendary status. People still today love the lines and the relatively small size of these cars making them perfect candidates for some serious performance upgrades. This 65 is a great example of exactly that keeping the body lines and simply pumping up the performance aspect. The red paint is clean and shows very well with the white strip right above the rockers breaking up the red nicely. The scoop on the hood helps to give the car that aggressive look. The Magnum 500 Wheels are classic Mustang and finish off the exterior of this 2+2 nicely. Under the hood is a recently built 331 stroker motor that only has 1000 miles since being built. A full roller motor this is an engine that will last. The Comp cam is the perfect mix of bottom end grunt while having a nice top end pull. The Trick Flow aluminum heads are a great set and really allow this small block to perform at its best. Exhaust gas is taken out through the headers and into dual 2.5” pipes all the way back allowing for a nice and deep sound. Backing up that 331 is another top of the line component, a TKO 600 allowing for complete control. The Moser 9” rear-end with a true-trac diff allows for nice smoky burnouts. The Cal-trac monoleaf springs and traction bars help to place the power on the ground while stiffening up the rear. When you have the ability to go this fast you need to be able to stop as well. The 4-wheel Wilwood set up has that part taken care of allowing for aggressive stops with very little pedal fade. Inside the seller has went with an original style interior with a couple custom touches. The dash has been built and installed using AFR gauges with a very straight forward layout. The shifter is in the perfect spot with the E-brake moved to a handbrake position. If you have been wanting to get into a great looking 65 Fastback that performs just as good this red 2+2 is the car for you. Options on this 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 include; AM Radio, Spare Tire and Jack, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Posi-Traction, and Alloy Wheels with Radial Tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1965 Ford Mustang fastback. This “A” code fastback for sale features one of the finest small blocks ever made the 289 4V this amazing small block is well known to produce snappy revolutions that lead to tire smoking launches and red-faced Camaro drivers. This little pony has been owned by the same filly for the past 31 years and has been lovingly cared for and restored. Now I am not going to try to convince you that the lady who owns this 1965 Mustang Fastback for sale only drove it to Church at 10 miles below the speed limit, in fact, I believe she used every pony under the hood and I am sure she straightened out a couple of curves and scared many squirrels. OK, Back to the car, looking sharp covered in red with a black hood scoop and black interior this classic pony car is sporting many new and upgraded components such as ball joint and upper control arm bushings as well as, seats, door cards, headliner and under the hood the 289 only has about 5,000 miles on it since it’s rebuild and the C6 about 2,000 miles and when it was rebuilt a shift kit was added. Topping the Ford small block is a New Holley® Carb and electronic ignition distributor. What could be better? Well, how about strapping an Air conditioning compressor to the engine, because sweating was ok when we were 18 but now we want to cruise in comfort. Options for this 1965 Mustang for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM CD player, Seat belts, Anti-theft system, Vinyl interior, and Rally rims wrapped with radial tires, see what I did there? Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a car everyone can appreciate: a 1965 Ford Mustang. Right up there with baseball, apple pie, and old glory, it doesn't get much more American than a Ford Mustang. Released in 1964, the first generation had a little bit for everyone. A massive options list allowed each buyer to spec out their pony however they wanted. Multiple engines, transmissions, power options, colors, and even body style were available. Within the same model, a Mustang could range from a basic coupe with a 6 cylinder and a 3 speed manual, to a fire breathing K-Code fastback with a V8 and a 4 speed on the floor. This particular example is nicely set up with a 289 V8 under the hood and an automatic transmission. The exterior is finished in a snappy coat of bright orange and it rides on some 5 spoke alloy wheels with healthy tires. Inside you'll find black vinyl upholstery, bucket seats, and a floor mounted shifter. These little coupes are great cars to drive. They aren't too big or too small, and with an automatic transmission, you don't have to be a racecar driver to take this one out for a spin. Whether you're looking for your first classic car, or you're adding to a collection, this Mustang would fit the bill. You can see this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or STL@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

What exactly determines a car’s value? The numbers-matching paint code? The unrestored barn-find condition? Well, for some, value lies within the documentation and receipts that were produced and collected from the car’s lifetime. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. Dressed in Poppy Red with white racing stripes against a gorgeous white interior, this Mustang has been lovingly restored, updated, and chronicled. This Mustang’s new owner will be thrilled to obtain a book of receipts that stand taller than two inches thick. A modest 200 CID I6 serves as the vehicle’s powerplant, where a rebuild of the cylinder head took place, alongside the replacement of the lower rod bearings. During the restoration, the Mustang received a new radiator, new brakes, brake lines, carb, freeze plugs, convertible top, and drip rail. The undercarriage and engine bay display a clean, flat black finish. For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a hand fabricated full steel 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. Yes, you read that correctly, no fiberglass on this pretty pony, just pure hand fabricated steel done the old-fashioned way on an English Wheel. Fabricated body panels include; hood, hood scoop, front air dam, wheel flares, side exhaust rocker panels, upper and lower scoops, rear trunk and spoiler, lower pan, tail lights, recessed license plate, and engine compartment panels. The attention to detail on this Mustang is incredible, the builder even put thought in to making it something you could jump in and drive with cold air conditioning, upgraded custom leather bucket seats, and a 7-speaker sound system. Getting you to the car show in style and with speed, your power train includes a fresh 351 Windsor backed by a 5 speed Tremec transmission. Making the ride comfortable is the new Heidt’s front coil over suspension, and you don’t have to worry about stopping with those big Wilwood disk brakes all the way around! Once you get to the show, simply hit the hide-a-plate key fob and watch your front plate disappear under the car so you can show off that custom all steel front bumper. All in all, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer all steel custom 1965 Mustang Fastback. You most certainly won’t be able to build another one like this for the money! Thank you for your interest in this sleek 1965 Ford Mustang located in our Tampa location. This car is a true piece of Ford history that simply turns heads anywhere it cruises by. The Twilight Turquoise green paint scheme with black vinyl top have made this car really stand out against other Mustangs in its class. This rare numbers matching 200 CI 6 cylinder and 3 speed manual transmission have been completely rebuilt just under 11,000 miles ago. The 200 CI 6 is rated at 120 horse power but sure feels like more. This Mustang is titled as a 1965 but is technically a 1964 1/2 which makes it highly collectable. Contrary to popular belief, the first model year for the Ford Mustang was 1965. Mustangs produced between March 9th and July 31st of 1964 are often coined the 1964 ½ Ford Mustang by enthusiasts, but for all intents and purposes, the cars are 1965 models on paper. This particular Mustang has been restored and redone about 7 years ago. It has recently had new tires and brakes put on it. The overall condition of the paint, interior, and engine in my opinion would rate as show quality. This car has many options like Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, black vinyl interior, and even white wall tires which makes the cars driving ability comfortable. If you are looking for the first classic car investment or even adding to one and need that super clean Mustang, this is the car for you. This 1965 Mustang is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning. This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the "normal" 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as "late 65's". The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) "T-code" engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlane's "F-code" 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) "C-code" 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An "A-code" 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged "Hi-Po" "K-code" 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says "GEN" or "ALT"). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the "GT Equipment Package" and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as "Pony Interior" due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Ford's success at that year's Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14" rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5". Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body was enlarged, while keeping the same wheelbase, allowing for big block engine offerings, front and rear end styling was more pronounced and aggressive, and instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission. All of these factors put together add up to a car that not only looks amazing, but drives as good as it looks too. Now available in our DFW Showrooms is this custom built 1932 Ford Sedan. Today, the 1932 Model B, although always a little bit in the shadow of the V8, is a highly collectible car and people will pay high dollars to restore one to original specification, which is ironic, as they were once cheap "throwaway" cars popular with hot rodders who would tear them apart and use them as the basis for a "build". This is partly why it is so hard to find an unaltered specimen today. Our 1932 is no exception as it has been rebuilt from the ground up! When starting with a custom-rod, where else do you begin then heart of the vehicle. This 1932 is powered around by a straight out the GM crate- Mr.Goodwrench 350-V8 motor, with aluminum heads, edelbrock carb 650 CFM, and a MSD Ignition. Which creates plenty of ponies to the back wheels. Speaking of wheels, this ride is rolling on a fabulous combo set of US-Mags wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. These all connect to Rust’No’More chassis and a fiberglass body sitting on top. Other additional upgrades to this vehicle include: Aluminum rod 3 core speedway, Pete & Jake frontend, SoCal gas tank, Disc brakes, and Muffler headers.
