Now up for sale in Gateway’s Louisville showroom is this good looking 1970 Chevrolet Caprice. This cool crew cab (4-door) Caprice brings back memories of going to the country to visit Grand Pa and Grand Ma. Their go to vehicle for church on Sunday’s was Chevrolet very similar to this. This Caprice is believed to be a 3-owner car. Originally sold in Hodgenville Ky, the 2nd purchased this Caprice in 1996. The 2nd owner then sold it to his son who has owned it for the last 10 years. The 350 CID V8 was rebuilt about 8 years ago and only has 4000 miles on it. Under the hood, everything looks to be intact, which can sometimes be a hard thing to find in these older classics. Everybody wants to hot rod them and this leads to a lot to the original parts missing. Who didn’t ride around in a big 4-door Chevy back in high school? The exterior looks to have one repaint, but it is the original color. The quarter panels where replaced by restoration shop that typically restores Corvettes. Inside, this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice is in very good shape. The cloth and vinyl is in excellent shape with no rips or tears. The vinyl does not appear to have any cracks, which is a rarity for these big body classics. Options for this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice include; Air Conditioning, AM Radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl/Cloth Interior, Seat Belts and Ralley Wheels shod with White Wall Radial Tires. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Caprice for sale, please call the Louisville showroom at (812) 294 – 1555 or email us at louisville@Gatewayclassiccars.com. Up for sale in the Chicago Showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is a muscular 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. In 1970 the world saw the debut of the Monte Carlo, built on the same A-Platform that underpinned the Grand Prix. Unlike the its Pontiac cousin, Chevrolet gave the Monte Carlo a more muscular appearance borrowing several styling cues from the Chevelle at the time. This particular example is offered in the always timeless Black on Black color scheme. The glossy black exterior is complemented nicely with the large chrome bumpers and Crager SS Wheels gleaming in the sunlight. The car has an aggressive stance that lets the public know the car is as mean as it looks. Inside you’ll find Black Racing Bucket seats and newly upholstered back seat. Turn up the tunes and listen to custom stereo systems or roll down the windows to hear the roar of the dual Flowmaster Exhaust. Under the hood is built Chevy 350 Small Block with a beefed up cam, aluminum heads, headers, a new starter and a 3 core radiator to keep it all cool. This powerhouse is bolted to a 700r4 Transmission with a B&M floor shifter, new stall converter and overdrive cut off switch. All this power is then sent to the rear end to be spun through the 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears. Options include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Radio, CD player, Racing wheels, Power Brakes, Power Steering, and Posi traction. For more information regarding this 70s classic contact the Chicago Showroom at 708-444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. This beautifully restored numbers matching 396 is painted in an uncommon but gorgeous Green Mist with Black SS stripes and a Black vinyl roof over a dark green vinyl interior. Power comes from the original 350 HP 396 Big Block and is mated to the original TH-400 automatic transmission and 12 bolt rear end with 3.31:1 gears with Limited Slip. Thanks to a recent frame off restoration, this one looks as good or better than when it rolled off the assembly line. The underside looks just as nice as the rest of the car and features the correct satin finish. The engine is still using the correct cast iron exhaust manifolds and continues through a pair of chambered exhaust for an unmistakable big block sound! The 3.31 rear gears are great for the highway and the low end torque makes for great fun around town. Equipment includes Power brakes, Power steering, center console with floor mounted shifter, bucket seats and an AM radio. The Magnum 500s wrapped with Firestone Wide Ovals look perfect and the original and restored suspension give the car a very correct ride height. Milwaukee is presenting a beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Corvair It features a Blue exterior, blue interior. It features a 104hp motor and a 4 speed transmission. This is a beautiful build that you can cruise in comfortably. The Chevrolet Corvair is a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet for model years 1960–1969. It was the only American-designed, mass-produced passenger car to use a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine. The name "Corvair" is a portmanteau of Corvette and Bel Air. The name was first applied in 1954 to a Corvette-based concept with a hardtop fastback-styled roof that was part of the Motorama traveling exhibition. The 1963 model year had the optional availability of a long 3.08 gear for improved fuel economy, but the Corvair otherwise remained largely carryover with minor trim and engineering changes. Self-adjusting brakes were new for 1963. The Monza line was really proving its worth. Of all the Corvairs sold in 1963, fully 80% were Monzas. The convertible model accounted for over 20% of all the Monzas sold. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful 1963 Corvair in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
