Engine: 350 Transmission: 3- Speed AutomaticMileage: 72599 ( undocumented )
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Split Bumper. Most will agree that the '73 is the last of the greats for the Camaro as 1974 would see body changes and drops in horsepower. This beauty is painted in a great shade of Red and has the classic combination of a black vinyl interior. Power comes from a mild 350 small block that sends power to a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to a 10 Bolt rear end housing 3.08:1 highway gears. Equipment is just right with Air Conditioning, Power brakes, Power steering and a stereo with CD plyer. The 350 has around 500 miles on it since a professional rebuild. The transmission was also rebuilt and has a mild shift kit. When considering a Camaro of this era, in almost all cases, you're going to prefer a Split Bumper car. This one looks great riding on a set of chrome rally wheels that are wrapped in radial rubber. The car has been frame on restored. The undercarriage still looks original and is not covered in heavy undercoating to hide anything. It sure looks solid and is ready for someone to take it to the next level or enjoy it as is and still be a very proud owner. The odometer shows 72,599. It is marked as unknown mileage due to no supporting paperwork, however we can't imagine that this one has rolled over. It is just too solid for that and wouldn't look nearly as nice as it does today. For more information on this 1973 Split Bumper Camaro, call 618-271-3000 or stop by our St. Louis showroom. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Louisville showroom is an awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT Z28. Most will agree that the '73 is the last of the greats for the Camaro as 1974 would see body changes and drops in horsepower. This beauty is painted in a great shade of Dark Green and has the matching green vinyl interior. The Green is the original color but was freshened up about 10 years ago with a Base coat/Clear coat system. Power comes from the original 350 small block that sends power to the original 4-speed manual transmission (as claimed by the owner) and back to a rear end housing 3.73 gears. The 350 has around 5000 miles on it since a professional rebuild was performed approximately 5 years ago. This 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1982 was the first year for the 3rd generation Camaro. The new hatchback body style was an instant success with the aerodynamics helping with the MPG’s. The car would even win the coveted Car of the Year award from Car and Driver magazine. This example is a very clean well-maintained car with under 45000 actual miles. The Auto check shows it being a 2-owner car with a minor accident in 08 which is when the car was repainted with the correct color and a finish better than when it rolled off the line. Under the hood is extremely clean with the 305-engine running like a top. Mated up to the original TH350 transmission this Camaro runs out just fine. Open the door and you are treated to a very clean interior with the pattern reminding me of the classic houndstooth of the originals. With the hatch opening up there is plenty room for storage convenient for that next road trip. With the wheels being in amazing shape the car truly looks great inside and out. With the popularity of the 3rd generation Camaro’s coming on stronger than ever this low mileage clean example is sure to find a new home fast. Options on this 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 include; AC, AM/FM/Cassette, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Tilt Wheel, and Alloy Wheels and Radial Tires. For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this 1972 SS Clone Chevrolet Chevelle. The restoration work includes replaced Quarter Panels, Front Fenders, Outside Door Handles, Dash Padding, Vintage A/C and Heat added, A/C Vents, new Carburetor, new Flowmaster Exhaust with Chrome Tips, Alternator, Guages, Tackometer, 10 Bolt Posi-traction, Stock SS Wheels, and Spare Tire Covers. Altogether, there has been a great investment in time and detail to make this classic girl a thing of beauty. In 1964 the Chevelle was originally Chevrolet's response to the demand for the smaller-sized car market, which had been successfully tapped into by American Motor's Rambler. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the Chevelle was based on a new A platform design, and became American's second best-selling car of its time. The 1972 Chevelles featured single-unit parking/side marker lights on their front fenders, outside of a revised twin-bar grille. Powered by a smooth running 454 CID and TH 350, this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is a great classic to invest in as something to show off, as well as to use as your frequent driver. If someone pulls up next to your and revs up their engine to taunt you into a drag race, just lock in your seat-belt, put out your cigarette, rev your 454 back at them, and take your time driving home, because speed thrills, but kills.
