Let’s say you want to get into the classic truck market, but you want to stand out a bit from the Venice/Brooklyn topless-truckster crowd with all their almost perfect (and highly desirable) Broncos, CJs, and FJ40s. Might we turn your attention the first-generation Chevy Blazer K/5? This brings us to this rugged but good looking K5 Blazer. Equipped with a Chevy 350 V8 and a Turbo 350 automatic transmission, this SUV is Chevrolet reliable and ready for the trail. 1972 Chevrolet C20 Camper Special

1972 Chevrolet C20 Camper Special

Engine: 402 Big Block
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 50,634 ( actual )

This cool 1972 Chevrolet C20 Camper Special is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1972 C/K line of pickups would be the end of a 12-year Second gen run. Starting off in 1967 they introduced a sleeker more modern looking truck nicknamed the Action Line. The trucks sold extremely well and really helped Chevy to tap into that truck market. This 72 C20 is not just your average C/20. Bought from the original owner in 1973 this truck has been well maintained and driven only 50642 miles its entire life. With the metal of the body bed and cab in great condition the decision was made to put a fresh respray on her. The original Yellow and white scheme was done with under the hood left alone to save those classic hand written GM markings. Of course, you can’t have a new shiny paint job and then open the door to a year-old interior so much like the outside they used the same pattern/material and re did the interior bringing the old tired out cab back to like. It really turned out amazing with the paint being slick and the interior extremely comfortable. Under the hood is the original Big Block that is displacing a monstrous CID. It has all the low-end power that you need to pull that 5th wheel down the road. The secondary battery spot is a great find and is typically used when camper is in the back. If you have been wanting a great truck that runs and drives this car is it. Options on this 1972 C20 Camper special include AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes. Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and a set of Radial tires with Hub Caps covering those steel wheels. This 1972 Chevrolet C20 Camper Special is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. At first glance, this nostalgic second gen Camaro has a menacing stance and the stout 350 CID V8 does an excellent job of moving this Camaro’s weight around. Backing the rumbling 350 is a 3-speed automatic transmission controlled by a staple shifter, and a set of SunPro gauges help the driver keep tabs on critical engine functions. Make your way into the cockpit, and you'll feel like you've been taken back in time. Black abounds, with black vinyl seats, carpet, door panels, and trim. Add in a modern stereo, A/C, power steering and power brakes, and you have yourself one comfortable ride, with muscle car performance. 1972 Chevrolet El Camino

Engine: 396 CID V8
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 2,161 ( undocumented )

This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino has always been one of the most unique automobiles since its inception in 1959. The only direct competition was Ford’s Ranchero which beat out the El Camino causing Chevrolet to rethink their strategy. 1964 it was released but it was not until they started adding performance engines the lineup did the El Camino really take off. This 1972 has took that performance angle to whole new level. With the body taken off the frame and everything taken down to bare metal this silver beauty was done right. Painted in this beautiful silver the black stripes are the perfect compliment. Under that striped hood is the classic 396 big block with a 650 feeding it just the right amount of fuel. Keeping everything cool under the hood is a set of twin electric fans. The 700r4 transmission allows the ELCO to get up and cruise down the highway with ease. The 3.55 gear set in the 12 bolt Posi Rear end is the perfect mix of acceleration and top end pull. The stance on this 72 is courtesy of the Hotchkis suspension which gives it just the right altitude and a little bit of attitude. The polished wheels give it a modern look while allowing the slotted and drilled disc brakes tio be seen by all. The fresh interior really compliments the build with a set of buckets divided by a console housing the horseshoe shifter. The classic industries gauges were placed in an origina0l style SS dash finishing off the one of a kind build. If you have been looking for a classic car or maybe a truck this El Camino is truly the best of both. Options on this 1972 Chevrolet El Camino include; AC, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Aluminum Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires.
