This vehicle is approaching 100 years old, and now for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is an antique 1919 Dodge Coupe. This numbers-matching, highly-original beacon of American automotive history is more than just a car. It serves as a reference to where we came from, how far we’ve come, and where we have left to go.
The body is decked in a beautiful blue paint job that would do the Dodge Brothers, who both passed away in 1920, incredibly proud; the wire wheels are coated in cream white, with black body accents all over, and wood highlights on the running boards. The vehicle pays homage to the founders of one of the greatest companies American motoring has ever seen.
Driving this Dodge makes you feel like you’ve been catapulted back in time further than you thought a car could take you. The passenger seat was designed to sit further back than the driver’s, so that women’s dresses from the era would not interfere with shifting. In order to allow easier entrance into the vehicle, it was equipped with the “fat-man steering wheel” which adjusts up and down from the center of wheel, and then locks into place when it’s time to drive. Take this antique for a stroll through the neighborhood or down any back road and you will notice the amount of attention this car grabs.
This beautiful antique Dodge is located in our Milwaukee showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If you're scratching your head thinking "I've never seen one of those before!" It's probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward 78 years and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. This 2017 Ford Raptor has gone Rogue! With almost an additional $30,000 invested into the suspension, this Raptor can conquer off road terrain with ease without losing the luxury feel during normal driving. From the factory the Raptor came with 13” of travel in the front and just under 14” in the rear. Now with the complete Rogue suspension components, the stage 16 kit upfront adds an additional 3” of travel and the cantilever rear suspension gained a whopping an additional 6” for a total of 20”! The avalanche white color is a rare color for the Raptors and fits the truck well! The vents on the front fenders were painted to match as well as the aftermarket rogue bumpers. The rogue bumpers both front and rear are from the “enforcer” series of which the company says increases the approach angle to a massive 37°. The bumpers were also equipped with heavy duty off road LED lights. The interior did not need any upgrades from stock and comes loaded down with every option imaginable. The interior came with a high-quality leather that is extraordinarily comfortable and will hold you in your seat. All the controls are intuitive to use and come equipped with many driver assisted options including cameras on front and rear bumpers and under both side mirrors for 360° monitoring. Powering this truck is the twin turbo Ecoboost punching out 450 horsepower from the factory and has had a couple power adders including a Ford Performance exhaust system and cold air intake. If you are looking for a Raptor that is even more capable than factory, but don’t want to spend the additional money to build your own, this truck is the perfect option! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this ultra rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Club’s “Shelby Registry 1965-67,” the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours D’Elegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. “Super Ford” magazine named it “the best Shelby of the year” for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carb, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seatbelts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built. In 2014, this car underwent a fresh restoration by Orlando Mustang, which resulted in Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours D’Elegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 “Mustang Times” and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016.
