Powered by a 360 Cubic inch Magnum V8 and upgraded drive train this Dodge is ready to tear up the streets! 1928 was the very first year that sliced bread was sold and Dodge was producing this coupe. Sliced bread may be the same back then as it is today, however this Dodge coupe has been heavily modified to bring it more up to speed with modern times. Distributing all of that power to the rear wheels is a 727 automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. This beautiful old school hot rod features a very custom interior that incorporates diamond plating into the floor and a headliner with accent lighting to provide a very unique mood inside. Another modern touch are the digital gauges featured in the center surrounded by a vintage looking housing. The modern styling was carried over to the door handles where it has been updated with electric windows and modern aluminum handles. One aspect that remains true to its roots though, is the big wooden steering wheel that reminds you that you’re in a classic hot rod. This car is a blast to drive and has plenty of power for tearing up some roads. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. Other 1919 - 1937 Dodge

1937 Dodge Sedan

1937 Dodge Sedan

Engine: 6 Cyl inline
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual Floor Shift
Mileage: 99515 ( actual )

Completely restored and ready for a Sunday cruise! This 1937 Dodge Sedan originally made for “Young business executives”, is brought back to its former glory and would make a perfect around town driver. Back in 1937 when the Dodge brothers released this stunning sedan, the world was going through big changes. Henry Ford had just initiated the 32 hour work week, Amelia Earhart disappeared over the Pacific Ocean, and the tragic event of the Hindenburg exploding mid-flight killing 36 people. It was truly a different time and when you get in this old Dodge, you can almost picture what it must have been like to live in such an era. Slide into the front seat of the car across the mohair interior and take hold of the larger than life steering wheel to compensate for the lack of power steering. Around the windows and across the dash you will find craftsmanship of what you may find with a fine watch. The wood grained style paired with the metal trim rings around the gauges is difficult to beat. Now it’s time to start it up; simply press the turn the key, press the clutch in, pull the choke out a bit, adjust your throttle, and press on the starter button near your accelerator. The inline six cylinder engine that came with the car some 90 years ago comes to life! Let it warm up and press in your choke again. Now you are ready to really start enjoying your cruise. Put the gear lever in first and release the clutch, and enjoy the smooth ride that comes with owning a Dodge. One of the biggest claims they made when the car was new that it will save you money on fuel on your commute. That may not necessarily be true anymore, but what it lacks in fuel economy it makes up for in excitement! If it feels as if it is getting a little stuffy in the cabin, reach to the center of the dash and turn the knob to tilt the windshield out giving you a refreshing breeze of outside air. This old Dodge is the perfect weekend cruiser and will be a huge homerun like one you would have seen out of Babe Ruth when this car was new. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. 1959 Dodge D100

1959 Dodge D100

Engine: 318 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 30562 ( undocumented )

For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1959 Dodge D-100. From 1957 to 1959, Dodge proposed the Sweptside pickup, a rival to the Chevrolet Cameo Carrier, but it never became a best-seller. A flat-sided (and thus wider) "Sweptline" cargo box came in 1959. The company also adopted the standard pickup truck numbering scheme, also used by Ford and GM at that time. Thus, the ½ ton Dodge was now called the D100. A traditional separate-fender body "Utiline" version was also built which had a GVWR of 9,000 lb (4,100 kg). The D-100 was considered a workings man’s truck back in the day. It’s somewhat of a rarity to locate these in good shape because of this. However, this owner has been able to do just that. This 1959 is only a 2-OWNER vehicle! That’s right, just 2 owners throughout its lifetime! This vehicle was bought and owned by a gentleman in California way back in 1959 (Owner provided original bill of sale). He held on to it and used this vehicle all the way up until about 2 years ago, when it was then purchased by the present owner today. The original owner loved this truck so much, he gave it a front/back full restoration (approximately 2006) a few years before selling this vehicle. Restoring it back to the shape he had previously purchased/received it in 1959. This vehicle is powered by a 318 V-8 engine and 4- speed transmission. Other eye-catching features include: Very clean interior, old school air-vent in the cab, chrome grill/hubcaps highlighting the word “Dodge” on each (No mistaking this one for a Chevy) & in my opinion, a beautiful looking woodgrain bed laid throughout. This most certainly was a quality work truck back in the day, but it’s ready to go to work for you now!
