This Ford packs the punch of a modern race car with a 466 CID V8 with Twin Paxton Superchargers and methanol injection. The sonic blue and pearl white paint job, chrome accents, and large tail fins bring back memories of cruise nights and drive-in movies. All together, the engine is putting out 700 horsepower. Getting all of that power to the rear wheels is a custom-built Turbo 400, with manual valve body and gear vender overdrive. The drive train was also upgraded to handle what this beast can put out, as it’s equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes, Hydro brake booster, Ford 9” rear end with 355 gears, ladder bars, and coil over.

As for the interior, it is stock with upgraded materials, so it remains true to its roots, while still feeling comfortable and modern. The tinted glass is new, which provides an aura of mystery to the outside world as to who is behind the wheel of this behemoth. Mounted in the dash are AutoMeter gauges, including a tachometer with shift light, so no one short-shifts and takes away any of the power. Making the vehicle even more user-friendly is a tilting Ididit steering column, so it can be adjusted to driver liking. All in all, this is one tough beast that is truly a sight to see.

Engine: 312 CID V8
Transmission: Three Speed Automatic
Mileage: 6,426 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer this 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale in our Arizona showroom. Is there anything more classic than a first generation Thunderbird in white (think Suzanne Somers in "American Graffiti") with a two-tone black and white interior. Yes, I know hers was a '56, but still, a classic color for a timeless design. Under this hood of this sweet machine is a 312 CID V8, eight cylinder, engine. This motor is tied to an automatic three speed transmission that pushes a rear wheel drive line. This beautiful American icon has recently been gone over from top to bottom by an experienced Thunderbird expert. Everything works as it should, and this 'bird starts, runs, drives, steers and stops like it did when new. The stunning addition of the Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels and wide whites really set this two-seater off perfectly. This one even has both tops; the convertible top is fairly new, and a port hole top can be installed for a person that prefers this look. The owner has also kept the original steering wheel if the next owner prefers the look of the original over the custom Grant wheel. Don't miss this legendary car. A 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale at a great price for a car that needs nothing. Our 1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale includes: AM/FM Radio, power steering, radial tires and is stated by the owner to be a numbers matching car, however Gateway Classic Cars does not verify nor guarantee this statement as we are not inspectors nor appraisers. 1957 Ford Thunderbird

1957 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: 312 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 5,763 ( undocumented )

Modern components with classic looks! This stunning 1957 Thunderbird, originally from California, has had plenty of work done to make this an excellent reliable cruiser. Back in 2004, the 312 cubic inch V8 was pulled and completely rebuilt using mostly stock components with the exception of ARP rod bolts added for superior strength. After it was rebuilt, the engine ran strong and smooth but was still lacking modern components to supply it with added reliability. So in 2013 when the car was brought to Colorado, the car had many upgrades added including; Holley Avenger electronic fuel injection system, MSD electronic ignition, modern power steering, power disc brakes, electric fans for optimum cooling, a 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive, electric power windows, a retro AM/FM sound system, and many more subtle changes that makes this one of the coolest T-birds on the road today! The blue paint is in great shape and the Torque Thrust wheels really set the look off right. As you get behind the aftermarket steering wheel, you will be grateful for the smaller diameter steering wheel to let you easily enter and exit the car. Once you are sitting in the car, fire it up with the simple turn of a key and begin your drive! The car feels effortless to drive, but is not lacking in power by any means. It cruises at freeway speeds with no problem and the modern wheels reduce any body roll. If you are looking for a car that is reliable enough to go on long cruises, but do not want to settle for a more modern late model body style, this 1957 Thunderbird is an excellent option for you! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1957 Ford Thunderbird in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1957 Ford Thunderbird

1957 Ford Thunderbird

Engine: V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 35,539 ( actual )

Now for sale in the Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird. This is one of the most desirable years for the Thunderbird and what a fantastic example this is. The current owner of this first-generation car bought it from the original owner in Houston all the way back in 1967 and has kept it ever since. This one has been excellently maintained over the years and still drives very well. Under the hood you will find a 312 CID V8 engine which was now standard in 1957 over the 292 CID V8 engine seen on the previous 1st generation Thunderbirds. The Thunderbird was revised for 1957 with a reshaped front bumper, a larger grille and tailfins, and larger tail lamps. The instrument panel was heavily re-styled with round gauges in a single pod, and the rear of the car was lengthened, allowing the spare tire to be positioned back in the trunk. The 312 cu in V8 became the Thunderbird's standard engine, and now produced 245 horsepower. Other, even more powerful versions of the 312 cu in V8 were available including one with two four-barrel Holley carburetors and another with a Paxton supercharger delivering 300 horsepower. Though Ford was pleased to see sales of the Thunderbird rise to a record-breaking 21,380 units for 1957, company executives felt the car could do even better, leading to a substantial redesign of the car for 1958. The exterior is finished in a gorgeous white/blue two-tone paint scheme with a matching blue two-tone interior. The cabin is kept cool with functioning air conditioning and features a manual convertible top for those summer days. Power steering and power brakes make steering and stopping this classic a breeze, even in tight parking spots. Seat belts are fitted for extra safety and the white wall tires look fantastic. Don’t miss this chance to own this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars of Houston at (832) 243-6220 for more information on the car, financing information or to talk about purchasing. You can also email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com. The car is in our showroom at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a one of a kind 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Sold new on August 28th 1973 in Niagara Falls, New York; this Mach 1 has been lovingly maintained and cared for since. Right off the bat, the car as taken to Armor Guard to be Rust Guard treated. The sticker still remains on the window, and clearly the product did its job as the car is incredibly solid. From then on, the stewards whom owned the vehicle were fanatical about keeping maintenance records, and documentation throughout the car’s life. From oil change invoices, to original Dealership paperwork, almost all of it has remained with the car. With this paper trail, we know the car made it’s way from New York to South Carolina, and then eventually to Illinois. The car is a Mach 1 with it’s original 351 Cleveland under the hood, and a C6 transmission and 9” rear end. It is a well optioned car with bucket seats, factory stripes, factory tachometer, factory AM radio, and even a period style aftermarket FM converter. For the music buff, it also has a factory 8 track player, so you can jam REO Speedwagon’s Ridin the Storm out, or Elton John’s Crocodile rock on 8 track! Other options include: power steering, power brakes, 3 speed wipers, and cigarette lighter. With a recent visit to the Ford dealership, perished suspension and brake components have been replaced, and the car has been given a clean bill of health. As it sits, it is a wonderful highway cruiser and a joy to display at shows. Whether you’re an experienced Mustang collector, or wishing to enter the collector car hobby, this Mach 1 would be a great choice.
