This is a phenomenal 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Series ½ Ton Pickup. This resto-mod is one from the age of Elvis Presley, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and it was on the receiving end of an incredibly high-quality frame-off restoration. The entire body is brand new except for the cab, which was restored, and the wood bed was also completely replaced and updated. The vehicle was painted in its beautiful orange color only a year ago, but looks brand new and the door locks have been shaved, giving the entire vehicle an elegant, streamlined appearance. There was no expense spared on the body work and after taking just one look, it’s more than obvious.

The 355 CID V8 engine fires up at the first turn of the key and the TH350 automatic transmission shifts through gears with ease, transferring the power from the engine to the new Ford 9” rear end with 3.55 gears. To give the truck a mean stance, the ride height was adjusted with front coilovers. The vehicle was also updated to have power steering, air conditioning that blows ice cold, power locks and windows, keyless entry, and a tilt wheel. Driving this 60 year old truck feels like a breeze and will be perfect for any car show or cruise night.

1955 Chevrolet 3100

1955 Chevrolet 3100

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 63,489 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1955 Chevrolet 3100. This vehicle is the true definition of a “barn-find” & has been a Texas-truck all its life. The original owner purchased this truck new back in 1955, he then used it on a farm and finally stored it in Carrolton, Tx for many years. The owner sadly passed away in 2016, where the vehicle then became available in an estate sale and was purchased by a restoration shop based out of Hurst, Tx. The shop upgraded a few things but focused on keeping the originality of the truck, examples are the dash and glass on the truck, it’s all believed to be original- some things they did upgrade: Powder coated the chassis, Power Brakes, Power Steering, & it appears they added a new woodgrain bed too. The engine is an SBC 350- tied into a TH 350 Auto transmission, which provides plenty of horses, to move this all-steel body around. They’ve also decided to preserve the blood, sweat, and tears experienced with this truck by clear-coating the patina. All this sets on a sweet set of American Racing Wheels. To view this 1955 Chevrolet 3100 in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom at 817-310-9400 or email at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1956 Chevrolet 3100

1956 Chevrolet 3100

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 65,551 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this 1956 Chevrolet 3100-Truck. In 1955 Chevrolet revealed what is now referred to as the second series. 1955 was the first year for this new body style, which had "wrap-around" windshield—a truck industry first—and optional wrap-around rear window on Deluxe cabs. Power steering and power brakes became available for the first time on GM trucks. Electrical system upgraded to 12 volts. This was also the only year for seven-foot bed length. Fenders have single headlights and one-piece emblem is mounted below horizontal line on fender. The 1956 version had a few slight changes, which included a wider hood emblem & two-piece fender emblem that are mounted above horizontal fender line. This was also the last year for egg crate grille. This 1956 is gorgeous both inside and out. Starting first with the interior, which looks very sharp and crisp using a black bench seat, outlined in red- it certainly makes it pop to the eye. They’ve also kept the dash very period correct, simplistic, and original looking, even retaining the “old-school” AM-only radio built into dash directly. The exterior is painted red and emphasizes the patina appearance, allowing the Chevy chrome to shine that much brighter from the grill and side pieces. As for the truck-bed, it’s a well laid wooden bed, which similar to its paint job, shows small signs of usage. This should be expected, since these were the backbone/life line to many of working men, back in the day. It’s a great truck, which is going to make someone a happy new owner very soon. Will that be you? To view the truck in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Dallas showroom at 817-310-9400 or e-mail us at Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com.

The truck underwent a frame-off restoration to high standards. Finished in a two-stage Cardinal Red base/clear paint color and sanded to a mirror like finish. The chrome all around the truck and the wooden oak bed are in great condition. You will have a hard time to take your eyes off this beautiful truck. 1955 Chevrolet 3100

1955 Chevrolet 3100

Engine: LS2
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 3,000 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this very clean 1955 Chevrolet 3100. These classic ’55 pickups are known as the Second Series and were the start of an all new body style that ran from 1955 to 1959. This one is far from original with a complete restoration and shows very well. This beautiful pickup is powered by a LS2 which was rebuilt about 3,000 miles ago. This LS2 has a LS-6 Cam Kit and was rebuilt by G&G Machine. There may be some confusion on the engine due to the 5.7L engine cover, but this was simply due to not being able to find a 6.0L engine cover for it. It’s estimated to be putting out over 400hp meaning this old truck will run against most cars on the street well. This powerhouse is mated to a T-56 6-speed manual transmission with a competition clutch and runs through the gears with ease. The power is driven to the back tires by the Ford 9” Posi rear end and has 3.70 gears for both leisure and performance. The front end is a Fatman Mustang II with stainless upper and lower control arms. To give the truck more flare an IDIDIT chrome steering column was added as well. To make this truck show quality the firewall has been smoothed giving a clean presentation of the engine. This truck also features an aluminum radiator, new doors, stainless 18-gallon fuel tank, new bumpers, new rear fenders and much more. This truck is painted in a mouth watering “Organic Green” which is a House of Kolor Paint. It also has subtle brown colored accents. This Organic Green color swarms the truck from the engine and through the interior as well. Walking around the truck, if you’re not drooling to much you will notice a fresh new Oak bed that has been stained and polyurethane, and a new chrome grille. The interior of this truck is just as clean as the outside. With brown ultra-leather interior, it keeps the color scheme flowing from the inside out. You can monitor the trucks performance through the classic instrument cluster. This truck is a solid mix of classic styling with modern amenities. This truck has been restored in detail and even has square weaved carpet as well. If your looking for a turn key show truck, this is the one for you. 1952 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window

1952 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window

Engine: 216 CID Inline 6 Cylinder
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 95,073 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a wonderfully restored 1952 Chevrolet 3100 5 Window Pickup. This old Chevy Pickup began its life as a farm truck. Back in those days you had to identify your truck with a company logo for hauling purposes, so this 52’ 3100 was emblazed with a family farm logo until it was restored. The two-year frame off restoration was completed in 1997 and the truck has traveled less than 100 miles since then. Used mostly for parades and short trips around a small Missouri town, this truck has seen a life of luxury in the last 20 years. It is believed to be a 2-owner truck and believed to have the original drivetrain still in place. The 216 CD inline six-cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission were completely checked over, were still in very good working order, and were not rebuilt at the time of the restoration simply because they didn’t need to be. They sure don’t make’em like they used to. The red, single stage, exterior paint looks great, and shows that the restoration was a quality one. The interior still looks new, with little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 95,073, the actual mileage is unknown, and there are about 100 miles on the frame off restoration. Options for this 1952 Chevrolet 3100 include: Vinyl Interior, Hub Caps, and Bias Ply Tires. Getting behind the wheel of this old farm truck and shifting gears via the 3-on-the-tree, takes you back to 1952, and a simpler time. This 52’ 5 Window could be used in many different forms, a local show truck, an advertisement piece for a small business, or just a nice cruiser on a lazy Sunday afternoon. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don’t miss out on this classic ’57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
