1975 Chevrolet Corvette

1975 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 74,900 ( undocumented )

The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) is a sports car that was produced by Chevrolet for the 1968 through 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year. The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, while the 1969 through 1976 models mark the second generation of the Corvette Stingray. This is an all original; numbers matching 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. This Stingray has 74,900 original low actual miles showing on the odometer. The ZQ3-350 is outfitted with a 4 barrel quadrajet carburetor that starts up with the greatest of ease and runs as great as it sounds. Mated to the V8 is a 700R4 automatic transmission. One of the things that stands out to us the most is the color! The color is Steel Blue Metallic only 1,268 3.7% of all production in this color. This thing is a blast to drive and when compared to other classic muscle cars of its time it is a lot of car for the money. Rounding out the entire package nicely is the radial tires that are wrapped around the chrome spinner style wheels. 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 1,396 ( undocumented )

We have a beautiful 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for sale. It features a rare pale yellow or "Light Buckskin" paint and Brown interior. This Arizona vehicle has a 350CI Small block Chevrolet backed by a automatic transmission. Everything was rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago. Drive in comfort with the Air conditioning on or cruise with the t – tops off. 1976 models featured steel floor panels shielding the catalytic converter exhaust. These steel floor panels weighed less than the previous fiberglass floor and reduced interior noise levels. Horsepower rose to 180 hp (134 kW) for the base L-48 engine; 210 hp (157 kW) for the optional L-82. To further reduce cabin noise levels, cowl induction was dropped in favor of the air cleaner ducted over the radiator, picking up outside air from the front of the car, thus reducing wind turbulence at the base of the windshield. The hood was carried over, with its cowl vent grille and induction system opening becoming non-functional. The optional cast aluminum wheels were finally made available, which reduced the unsprung weight of the car by 32 pounds. Nearly 15% of the cars were ordered with the new wheels at a cost of $299. A standard steel rim spare was used. This was the last year for optional white striped tires, as 86% of the cars were being delivered with the optional white lettered tires. A new rear nameplate for the rear bumper cover was introduced, eliminating the individual "Corvette" letters used since 1968. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1976 Corvette in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1972 Chevrolet Corvette

1972 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 355 CID V8
Transmission: Muncie 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 1,428 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1972 Chevrolet Corvette. Originally this eye catching Corvette was painted Sun Flower Yellow and is now 1993 Ruby Red. We've never come across an early C3 painted in Ruby Red, but we love it! The paint has a great shine and is obvious that it was professionally sprayed. Power comes from a built 355 and is backed by a Muncie 4-speed. Originally the car was believed to have been a 454. As with most cars from this era, the engine is long gone. There is 1,500 miles since the engine and transmission were both rebuilt offering many years and miles of fun. Out back is a set of 3.55:1 gears with posi-traction. 3.55s may be the best ratio out there offering the best of both worlds. Great power off of the line yet still able to cruise the highway with comfort. Equipment consist of Power steering, AM/FM radio with cassette, Leather seats and T-Tops. The interior is new, as are the tires, exhaust, chrome and rubber. The engine benefits from Fuelie cylinder heads, Competition Cams hydraulic camshaft, 10.5:1 compression ratio, new Holley 650 and a new Edelbrock Perfomer intake manifold. 1972 was the last year that chrome bumpers adorned both the front and rear and was the end of an era. 1973 Chevrolet Corvette

1973 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 52,201 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1973 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. The Vette sports a refreshed engine with top end and heads completed and a 4-speed manual transmission with a new clutch. This is an owner stated numbers matching car with a fresh restoration and many new items. There are a ton of receipts which go with this car and you can tell from the pictures the interior is in great shape. The daytona base coat clear coat is fresh along with the all new interior. The brake system, tires, and exhaust system is new as well. The fuel system, trailing arms, complete front and rear suspension, clutch, convertible top, sound system, and re-chromed bumpers, new body mounts and bushing are all new for the refresh. The Corvette's specialty is clearly stated on its invitation. It's a powerful car, but definitely not a drag racer. The long first gear of its close-ratio transmission makes starting from rest a very demanding job. Instead, the car feels as if it were developed on a road course. No other production sports car is so smooth and manageable at its limits and none will cover for the driver's mistakes as quickly and easily as will the Corvette. It understeers but only a little considering the power it has on tap. And the on-and-off power and the straight-to-curve transitions are gradual and smooth. Consequently, it is a very quick car over the road, faster than any other at the same price. It's comfortable. Everybody fits into the cockpit except for the very tall. The controls are a pleasure to use. But more than anything else, the Corvette's composure in high-speed touring situations must be credited to the design. Options include: AM/FM radio, seat belts, leather interior, rally wheels, and radial tires. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833. 1973 Chevrolet Corvette

1973 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: TH350
Mileage: 63,680 ( undocumented )

This awesome 1973 Chevrolet Stingray Corvette is located in our Louisville showroom. Many will consider '70s the beginning of the end for horsepower wars. With unleaded gas becoming the standard and smog regulation's tightening, there were an increasing number of hurdles for the big three to jump through. Chevy had their engineers working on how they were going to meet the demands of Uncle Sam and still get the muscle that Corvette was known for. The 350 SBC under the hood is not the original engine but runs just as good if not better than a 73. Backed up by a TH350 Transmission that transfers the power to the rear wheels. Take out the T-tops out and you will be ready to cruise on that next spring day. The T-tops can be easily re-installed with ease, just in case the sunshine doesn’t last as long as it should. The interior is in very good shape and compliments the red exterior very well. The tilt telescoping wheel gives you a ton of options and allows taller as well as shorter people to enjoy the ride of this classic. If you are looking for great addition to the collection or something to have a blast driving down those back country road look no further. Options include AM/FM/CD, Vinyl Interior interior, Power Brakes, Power steering, Radial tires, Rally Wheels, Seat Belts, Telescopic Wheel and Tilt Wheel. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don’t miss out on this classic ’57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
