1967 was the year that started it all for the Chevrolet Camaro and this carefully restored beauty reflects pride of ownership and the legendary heritage of the line. Bodywork was done professionally in 2015. Power is supplied by a rebuilt 383 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and 9-inch 3:73 Ford rear end. Owner reports only 200 miles since the rebuild. Additional upgrades include 4-wheel power disc brakes, a new convertible top with boot and gorgeous black vinyl interior. When introduced, the 1967 Camaro shared the same sub-frame with the Chevy II Nova and offered almost 80 factory and 40 dealer-installed options. This beautiful Red/Black classic build offers updated mechanics, while retaining much of the simple elegance originally intended from the factory. Hit the local shows or cruise in style with this turn-key package! The 1967 Camaro Convertible is located at our Milwaukee showroom. 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS

1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS

Engine: 250 CID I6
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 20,000 ( since rebuilt )

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible! This awesome car is finished in Butternut Yellow with black vinyl interior. A color found on about 12.5% of Camaro vehicles made this first model year. 1966 was when the Camaro came to life, appearing in dealerships in September of that year. It was a massive success for Chevrolet as we all know, utilizing their brand new F-body platform. Powering this classic is the entry level 230 CID I6 engine. The I6 was the least powerful of the engine options available, but it was definitely the smoothest and most efficient. If you are looking for a gorgeous weekend cruiser or something to take to a car show, but aren't obsessed with crazy hp figured and winning races, then this is probably the engine for you. This car was left as an I6 due to the fact that the engine and transmission are numbers matching and the owner wanted to preserve its originality. You will notice that this car has the RS appearance package too. This includes the hidden headlights, revised taillights with back-up lights under the rear bumper, RS badging, and exterior bright trim. There were tons of options in 1967 for the Camaro including 80 factory and 40 dealer options which could be had on 3 different trim levels. This one is outfitted with an AM radio, manual convertible top, hub caps, power steering and vinyl interior. Don't miss your chance to own this beautiful car. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1967 Chevrolet Camaro

1967 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 3,830 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS for sale in the Las Vegas showroom. This beautiful Royal Plumb with Pearl white strips, and in those stripes are ghost images of Z/28 and Chevy bowtie emblems. Interior looks as if the black vinyl interior juat came off the assembly line. the Z28 was frame off restored approximately 2 years ago with only 3830 miles since retored. With a 302 cubic inch V8 coupled to a 4 speed manual transmission feeding a 12 bolt 3:42 Positraction rear, and Crager wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radials, the power brakes and manual steering complete the factory configuration. The Z28 performance package was designed (with further modifications) to compete in the SCCA Trans-Am series. It included a solid-lifter 302 V8, 4-speed transmission, power disc brakes, and two wide stripes down the hood and trunk lid. The Z28 option code was introduced in December 1966 for the 1967 model year. It was the brainchild of Vince Piggins, who conceived offering "virtually race-ready" Camaros for sale from any Chevrolet dealer. This option package was not mentioned in any sales literature, so it was unknown to most buyers. The Z28 option required power front disc brakes and a close-ratio Muncie 4-speed manual transmission (posi-traction was optional). It featured a 302 cu in (4.9 L) small-block V-8 engine, 3" stroke crankshaft with 4" bore, an aluminum intake manifold, and a 4-barrel vacuum secondary Holley carburetor of 780 cfm. The engine was designed specifically to race in the Trans Am series (which required engines smaller than 305 cu in (5.0 L). Advertised power of this engine was listed at 290 hp (216 kW). This is an under-rated figure. Chevrolet wanted to keep the horsepower rating at less than 1 hp per cubic inch, for various reasons (e.g. insurance and racing classes). The factory rating of 290 hp occurred at 5300 rpm, while actual peak for the high-revving 302 was closer to 360 hp (268 kW) (with the single four barrel carb) and 400 hp (298 kW) (with optional dual-four barrel carbs) at 6800-7000 rpm. The Z28 also came with upgraded suspension, racing stripes on the hood and trunk lid, '302' front fender emblems on the 67 and early 68 cars, and 'Z28' emblems in late 68 & 69. It was also possible to combine the Z28 package with the RS package. Only 602 Z28s were sold in 1967, along with approximately 100 Indianapolis Pace Car replicas. 7,199 Z28s were sold in 1968. The 1967 and 1968 Z28s did not have the cowl induction hood, optional on the 1969 Z28s. The 1967 Z28 received air from an open element air cleaner or from an optional cowl plenum duct attached to the side of the air cleaner that ran to the firewall and got air from the cowl vents. 15-inch rally wheels were included with Z28s while all other 1967-9 Camaros had 14-inch wheels. The origin of the Z28 nameplate came from the RPO codes - RPO Z28 was the code for the Special Performance Package. RPO Z27 was for the Super Sport package. To view this 1967 Camaro Z28, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 702-830-9215, or email us at lasvegas@gatewayclassiccars.com. This is the car that comes to mind every time I think of the late 60’s and early ‘70’s. This is the poster car for that summer that we all remember. Everybody has that summer, the one where freedom is tasted as well as adult beverages. This is the perfect car to relive those long summer nights of so many years ago. Tucked under the hood of this time machine is a Chevy small block or mighty mouse as we use to call them, 327 Cubic inches of raw Chevrolet power topped with a 4 barrel Q-Jet Carburetor. Remember driving? Wind in your hair and a car with a soul controlled by you and your right foot? Well hurry and get one before they are outlawed and we all “ride” in self driving, soulless things that are not even called cars anymore. 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air

1961 Chevrolet Bel Air

Engine: Inline 6
Transmission: PowerGlide 2-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 39,483 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a low mile 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe. This 61’ Bel Air has been in the same family since it was bought new in 1961. It was parked in 1967 with 32,000 miles on the odometer. Over the next 18 years the car was driven just 4,000 miles, and in 1985 it was purchased by the current owner, the grandson of the original buyer. In the mid-80’s the Bel Air received a refreshed coat of paint on the bottom half of the car of the original Sea Mist Turquoise. Other than the respray, the car is original and maintains the survivor status. The vinyl interior features light and dark shades of green. The vinyl upholstery is original and not perfect but does show well considering its age of almost 60 years. The dash is no nonsense and to the point, it matches the color of the upholstery nicely. The original inline 6-cylinder engine still powers this old Bel Air and is mated to the original 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The odometer reads 39,423, which represents the actual mileage on the car! Options for this 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe include: Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and White Wall Radial Tires. This 61’ Bel Air would be a perfect candidate for a Pro Touring setup with a fuel injected V8 and modern transmission, or it would be just fine for someone to enjoy as it is and appreciate the survivor qualities it brings to the show. To view this 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sports Coupe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
