The Chevrolet Chevelle was produced in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet’s most successful nameplates. 1966-1967 models saw a significant restyle that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment and curved side windows. The 1967 models also received a new rear end featuring wraparound tail lamps with standard backup lights. The 1967 Chevelle brochure proudly stated: “what you see inside will probably bring on a severe compulsion to go driving!”. The SS396 Chevelle continued as its’ own series with both sport coupe and convertible models. This 1967 SS Tribute has a rebuilt 396 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and 10-bolt rear end. The owner has installed a new Hurst shift linkage, new clutch control arms and radiator. Additional features include power steering, power brakes and AM/FM Stereo. The bright red exterior is contrasted nicely by a beautiful two-tone black/red leather interior with front bucket seats. This 1967 Chevelle SS Tribute is located at our Milwaukee showroom. 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle

1966 Chevrolet Chevelle

Engine: 396 CID V8
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,198 ( undocumented )

We are very excited to offer for purchase this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, which is a very professional complete frame-off restoration. The next owner of this beauty will be very proud to have it parked in their garage and will get a huge thrill out of driving it. This is a Malibu, not an SS. Numbers do not match. It was restored with a big block engine. BACKGROUND: The Chevrolet Malibu is a mid-size car manufactured and marketed by Chevrolet from 1964 to 1983 and since 1997. The Malibu began as a trim-level of the Chevrolet Chevelle, becoming its own model line in 1978. Originally a rear-wheel-drive intermediate, GM revived the Malibu nameplate as a front-wheel-drive car in 1997. Named after coastal community of Malibu, California, the Malibu was marketed primarily in North America, with the eighth generation introduced globally. The first Malibu was a top-line subseries of the mid-sized Chevrolet Chevelle from 1964 to 1972. The Malibu SS was replaced in 1966 by a new Chevelle SS-396 series that included a big-block 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 engine, heavy duty suspension and other performance equipment. This particular 1966 Chevrolet Malibu is very remisicent of the 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS-396. This one does have the 396 powerplant (bored .060) with new front and rear suspension. The rear suspension has new boxed lower control arms and rear swar bar, with added links that connects the upper and lower together. Upon request, we have a complete list of restoration work and improvements. All receipts of work done on car will go along with purchase. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

Engine: 396 CID V8 Supercharged
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 7,805 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this “Mean” 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. This Chevelle SS is the perfect way to “blow the doors off” of the competition at the track, and then casually cruise away laughing as they trailer their cars home. This “monster” is packing a balanced and blueprinted 396 with aluminum Edelbrock Heads, Roller Rockers, MSD Ignition, MSD Ultimate HEI Billet Distributor, 750 Double Pumper Demon Carburetor, Hooker Super Competition 2 1/8 Ceramic Coated Headers, and the crown on top is a Race Vortech Supercharger. This amounts to ground-pounding 719 horsepower and 700 foot pounds of torque. There is more to winning than cubic inches and horsepower. You need to be able to put the horsepower to the pavement and control it. You are able to achieve this with Hotchkiss Rear Suspension and new rear springs. All new front and rear polyurethane suspension bushings, transmission mount, motor-mounts, including front and rear sway bar bushings. Once you get going, stopping is the most important part. However, push this Super Sport to the limit and the front and rear Wilwood 4-piston caliper brakes will bring this wild Chevelle to a halt quickly. Some of the other components to this “Beastly” Chevelle are a TCI 700R4 transmission, which tames the vehicle to be easily driven on the highway. In addition to the TCI trans is a TCI torque converter with a 3400 to 3800 stall. A B&M four speed ratchet shifter insures crisp shifts and fast shifting. All the power is put to the ground by the way of a 12 bolt rear-end, housing an Auburn posi-traction with 3.73 gears. Options include AM/FM Cassette/CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Kill Switch, Radial Tires, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, and Posi Traction. The package is wrapped up in a true “138” code Chevelle which makes this a “Real” Super Sport. Add in the fact that this is a paint code black car and the value on this “Muscle Car” keeps rising. This ‘67 Chevelle is a worthy investment that can easily be returned to stock or kept as is. No matter which way you choose to enjoy this excellent car it will bring you priceless memories. This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1957 Chevrolet 210

1957 Chevrolet 210

Engine: 327 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 73,010 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they’re Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk. 1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don’t miss out on this classic ’57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000.
