The Chevrolet Chevelle was produced in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet’s most successful nameplates. 1966-1967 models saw a significant restyle that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment and curved side windows. The 1967 models also received a new rear end featuring wraparound tail lamps with standard backup lights. The 1967 Chevelle brochure proudly stated: “what you see inside will probably bring on a severe compulsion to go driving!”. The SS396 Chevelle continued as its’ own series with both sport coupe and convertible models. This 1967 SS Tribute has a rebuilt 396 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and 10-bolt rear end. The owner has installed a new Hurst shift linkage, new clutch control arms and radiator. Additional features include power steering, power brakes and AM/FM Stereo. The bright red exterior is contrasted nicely by a beautiful two-tone black/red leather interior with front bucket seats. This 1967 Chevelle SS Tribute is located at our Milwaukee showroom. Engine: 454Transmission: 4-Speed ManualMileage: 51185 ( undocumented )
We have a stunning 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful red paint with red interior. It features a 454ci Chevrolet V8 with a 4 speed transmission. It rumbles like a beast! It has power steering, power brakes, rally wheels and aluminum rims. 1966 saw a complete restyle of the Chevelle on the previous frame that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment, and curved side windows. Bulging rear fender lines and a "flying buttress" roofline (tunneled into the "C" pillar) were highlights of the '66 hardtops, shared with other GM "A" body models. The new body reflected the "Coke bottle" body shape that became the fad for American cars in the mid-1960s. A 4-door hardtop-styled Sport Sedan joined the Malibu series. It was an attractive car and was offered through 1972, but never achieved the high-production figures as the pillared sedan. Chevelles continued in 300, 300 Deluxe, and Malibu trim. Available engines were a 327-cubic-inch V8 instead of either of the sixes, or the mid-level option, a 220-horsepower 283-cubic-inch V8. Options included a tachometer, mag-style wheel covers, and sintered-metallic brakes, four-way power seats, a tissue dispenser, and cruise control. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

This car has been professional done and has only 50 miles on it since the restoration was complete. The car is painted in a stunning red metallic paint job and trimmed in SS badges and Chevrolet flags. Coming out of the hood of this beast is a big bad 565 Big Block Chevy Supercharged engine with Dart block Cat 4.25 stroke Crankshaft H Beam. This engine is bad to the bone, it's been built with a crane camshaft, harden pushrods, pro top heads, stainless steel valves , Milodon Oil pan, Barry Grant Blower Carbs, polished 871 Blower and Hillborn style scoop! Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this magnificent 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 convertible. This one comes to us from the second owner, who's been her caretaker since 1983. This one's the real deal; no clone, tribute, or replica - it's a real Super Sport big block Chevelle convertible. The original 350 HP 396 is still sitting between the fender wells, and throughout the years, it has had careful attention paid to any maintenance needs it had. The non-original Holley carb has recently been rebuilt along with a new clutch assembly. To keep it running cool, the original radiator has been boiled and rodded to flow coolant efficiently. The interior features factory gauges, a Hurst shifter, and new upholstery on the red vinyl seats. Other than an AM/FM/cassette, factory options include Rallye gauges, a console, and posi-traction. The top is power-assisted, and the mechanism operates flawlessly in all positions. The top itself still looks nice. The original rally wheels look period-perfect on this red muscle car and really finishes off the look of an all-business performance convertible from the General. This is a great car and should be yours. Remember yesterdays thinkers are todays buyers so act now. To see 100-plus HD pictures and a video of this awesome 1967 Chevelle SS396 convertible, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 468 CID V8Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 8000 ( since rebuilt )
For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this gorgeous 1967 Chevelle Malibu. The Chevelle was intended to compete with the Fairlane, and was supposed to reflect a car similar in size to the Classic Tri-Five of the decade prior. They would go down as being some of the most memorable cars of our time. The Malibu continued its reign as the leading seller of the Chevelle, and would continue to do so throughout the Chevelle’s life, because it boasted the highest number of model options with the 4-door sport sedan, 2-door sport coupe, convertible, 4-door sedan, and 2-seat station wagon. One could get anything from a base model 300 coupe with a 230 CI inline 6 with a 3 on the tree, to a 4 door wagon with a 327 and a 4-speed manual, to a fire-breathing 375 HP 396 CID V8 in the SS model. If you wanted it, chances are it could be found in a Chevelle. With its classic "Coke bottle" styling, the '66 and '67 models were instant hits, and continue to stand the test of time. This '67, however, comes complete with a drivetrain on steroids, while deliberately maintaining a "sleeper look". Under the hood, you'll discover that there's a fuel injected 468 CID Chevrolet V8 that fires up with the powerful attention-grabbing snarl that is the unmistakable bellow of a big-cammed Rat Motor. This big block is equipped with a properly-dialed-in MSD Atomic Fuel Injection system, and a March serpentine pully system. A big Griffin aluminum radiator keeps this big mill properly cooled. Backing up the big rat is a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission that twists a set of 3.73:1 gears in its 12-bolt Posi rear end. Its coated headers will look good for a very long time as they suck the exhaust gases out into 3" dual exhaust system. The body is in very good condition, and it's bathed in a nice shade of Gold Mist Metallic (color code 51U). The factory drums in the front were replaced with discs, as well as having a power booster added. The rallye wheels continue the "sleeper" motif of this classic. Open the doors, and the Medium Gold front buckets and rear bench seat, with their cloth inserts are definitely a throwback to 1967. If you have been wanting a classic car that has stood the test of time but don’t want take the rest of time to pay for it, then this Rat-powered Chevelle should be exactly what you need. Options on this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires wrapped around Rallye Wheels. For sale in our Saint Louis Showroom is this 1972 SS Clone Chevrolet Chevelle. The restoration work includes replaced Quarter Panels, Front Fenders, Outside Door Handles, Dash Padding, Vintage A/C and Heat added, A/C Vents, new Carburetor, new Flowmaster Exhaust with Chrome Tips, Alternator, Guages, Tackometer, 10 Bolt Posi-traction, Stock SS Wheels, and Spare Tire Covers. In 1964 the Chevelle was originally Chevrolet's response to the demand for the smaller-sized car market, which had been successfully tapped into by American Motor's Rambler. Riding on a 115-inch wheelbase, the Chevelle was based on a new A platform design, and became American's second best-selling car of its time. The 1972 Chevelles featured single-unit parking/side marker lights on their front fenders, outside of a revised twin-bar grille. Powered by a smooth running 454 CID and TH 350, this 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is a great classic to invest in as something to show off, as well as to use as your frequent driver. If someone pulls up next to your and revs up their engine to taunt you into a drag race, just lock in your seat-belt, put out your cigarette, rev your 454 back at them, and take your time driving home, because speed thrills, but kills.
