Grab everyone's attention this Summer with this 1931 Chevy Sedan.

The Chevrolet Series AE Independence was manufactured by Chevrolet in 1931 to replace the 1930 Series AD Universal. Production levels slipped during the Great Depression to 619,554 units, but Chevrolet actually outpaced rival Ford in 1931! The main change between the Series AE and the outgoing AD was a 2-inch longer wheelbase, now at 109”. It remained powered by the “Stovebolt Six” 194 cid inline 6-cylinder engine producing 50hp. This classic 1931 four-door sedan ups that ante with a 350 cubic-inch V8 mated to a Mustang II automatic, Mustang front-end suspension and 373 Posi rear end. The 350 power plant sports a polished aluminum intake & air cleaner, Accel distributor, dual exhaust and stainless gas tank. Additional features include manual rack & pinion steering, power brakes, attractive wire wheels and AM/FM/CB Radio. This is an older build with lots of chrome accessories, and could be driven as is or form a solid base to personally upgrade. This is a steel body car with fiberglass fenders. The 1931 Chevrolet hot rod is located at our Milwaukee showroom.

This 1931 Chevrolet Sedan is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, call us at (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

1931 Chevrolet Coupe

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo 400
Mileage: 4435 ( since rebuilt )

Our Louisville showroom is proud to present this awesome 1931 Chevrolet Coupe. Welcome to the wonderful year of 1931. This was the year of a very distinctive Chevrolet. It was a year of many changes. Also, it was the end of an era. 1931 owners are held together by a strong bond because this year of Chevrolet automobiles was quite different from 1930 and 1932. Only a few parts are interchangeable between these years of cars. 1931 was the third year that Chevrolet offered the new 6 cylinder engine as standard equipment. This was also the final year that Chevrolet out-sold Ford by kicking their little 4 cylinder butts. Alas, it was to be short lived when Ford introduced their 8 cylinder flat head in 1932. As most people know, among the fans of the early V8 Fords was Bonnie and Clyde. But the year before that, Chevrolet was still king. This beautiful street rod style 1931 Chevrolet coupe still has all the original steel body. Powering this Street Rod is a small block 350Ci Chevrolet Motor. Putting the power to the ground is a TH400 automatic transmission. This car has restored nicely with a fully custom interior in a beautiful gray cloth. With only 4,435 miles since the rebuild, this gorgeous 31 Chevy Coupe is still ready to be driven for many years to come. Options on this 1931 Chevrolet coupe include: Cloth interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy Rims. To view this 1931 Chevrolet Coupe, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1931 Chevrolet Independence 5 Window

Engine: 283 V8
Transmission: M22 Muncie 4 Speed Wide Ratio
Mileage: 21591 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1931 Chevrolet Independence. This Coupe is powered by the late year 1961 Corvette 283 cubic inch motor bored out .030 over. It is coupled to an M22 wide ratio Muncie 4 speed with an independent rear suspension from a C3 Corvette. 1931 was the last year Chevy out-sold Ford by blowing the doors off their little four cylinders. Ford introduced their 8 cylinder flathead in 1932, which was Bonnie and Clyde’s preferred choice to outrun the law. Had Bonnie and Clyde been driving this 1931 Chevrolet Five Window Coupe they could have gotten away for more days of bank robbing. This slick little coupe is quick but also stops well with disc brakes on all four corners. The body is all steel with fiberglass fenders and running boards. The beautiful blue paint will attract loads of attention. However, for those who like to seek more attention, there is an electric switch operated line lock to hold the front wheels while the rear tires do a “smoking burnout.” This 1931 Chevrolet Independence 5 Window Coupe is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1934 Chevrolet Victoria

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 11374 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville, Tennessee showroom is perhaps the best equipped 1934 Chevrolet Sedan on the road today. This 1934 Chevrolet Sedan is the epitome of street rod and exudes performance and style. If the devil is in the details, somebody call a priest… this car is downright sinister. Shaking the ground under this ride is a dual quad full roller Chevrolet Performance ZZ4 crate 350 pushing out over 400ftlbs of earth moving torque! Everything under the hood has been polished and the block has even been smoothed and painted, there isn’t a surface that was left stock in appearance. Under the car you’ll find chrome and polished parts from the upper and lower control arms and spindles, to the Borgenson chrome steering shaft and u-joints. This level of customization continues with the body and it quickly becomes evident that this is anything but your run of the mill sedan, it’s been chopped, nosed, decked, shaved, frenched, and tucked. The windows operate from a central billet aluminum control panel on the ceiling and the doors are opened by key fob. The interior of this 1934 Chevrolet is stuffed full of custom Bobby Griffey seats and color matched leather. Rather than chrome, this ride is sporting polished billet aluminum on every surface you can imagine from the digital billet dash and gauge cluster, to the billet steering wheel and interior door handles. This dark chariot of power and cool rides on custom billet wheels with a rake that makes it look like it’s doing the ton while sitting still… be the envy of your neighborhood and the talk of the next cruise-in. With this car it’s likely you’ll never leave a car show empty handed again... For more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle

Engine: 396 L-89
Transmission: M21 4-Speed
Mileage: 11394 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible. This black big block is powered by a 375 horse 396 with the L-89 aluminum head option. This was a true screamer! Solid lifters and high compression pop-up pistons with free flowing aluminum Winters GM cylinder heads. This is not an original L-89 car, or the price would be near double as only a handful were ever built. However, this is a very accurate representation of a real L-89 car. The car featured has received a full frame off restoration in 2014 and will stop most people dead in their tracks. The paint appears as if it is miles deep and the rumble emitting from the coated ceramic headers and Flowmaster mufflers is intoxicating. Putting the power to the pavement is a close ratio Muncie M-21 4 speed manual, 12 bolt rear end with 4.10:1 posi traction gears and some wide radial rubber. The rear tires are 275/60R15 and the car needs it! These big blocks were known for their stump pulling torque. The solid lifter variant of the big blocks were some of the meanest on the street. With a redline of 6,500 RPM and a factory under rated 375 horsepower, this was not a car to underestimate. True power numbers are far above 400 horsepower, especially with headers. Some sources say adding headers to a solid lifter high RPM Chevy Big Block was worth 75-100 extra horsepower. The factory cast iron exhaust manifolds were very restrictive. Equipment on this big block 4 speed convertible include Power top, Power brakes, Power steering, Power windows, tilt steering column and an AM/FM radio. Triple black with Magnum 500 wheels wrapped with BFG radial rubber, this car is gorgeous. For more information, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000 or swing by for an up close viewing. 1984 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 5.7L V8 F OHV
Transmission: 4-Speed Auto
Mileage: 46310 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Milwaukee showroom is this unique 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. Between the sharp C4 lines and the relatively low mileage, this car will make an excellent driver. 1984 was the first year of the C4 body style. The C4 corvette brought back more powerful engines and the convertible option to the cars. This generation of corvette was also the first to have the Glass hatchback to allow for convenient storage in the rear. Braking was improved with aluminum calipers and new rotors. In the rear, the suspension was updated with a Fiberglass mono-leaf instead of a traditional leaf spring. Powering this sleek ride is a 5.7-liter Crossfire V8 that was good for 205 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. This power helped accelerate the car to 60 MPH in a little over 6 seconds when new. Sending the V8 power to the rear wheels is a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive that shifts smoothly through the gears. Overall this car runs well and would be a good driver or weekend cruiser. Moving outward, this sleek ride is finished with unique striping and multicolor Chameleon clearcoat. It’s a 1996 World of Wheels winner, and was awarded best-in-show in multiple shows. Upon entering the interior, the driver will feel very comfortable thanks to the power leather seats which feature lumbar support. This car is loaded with amenities such as power mirrors, power windows, power brakes, power steering and power locks. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the removable glass top that allows for plenty of sunshine and fresh air. When it comes time to listen to some driving music, the sound system in this car is sure to impress. This Corvette is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com; call (262) 891-4253 or email us at milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.
